LANCER RPG Flat Icon Asset Pack

Introduction

Hello! This is a set of flat tokens for the LANCER RPG by Massif Press. I wanted to go for an artificial, board game-y feel for these components, partially because it makes viewing them from above somewhat easier. Many of the icons I picked were either to evoke the name (e.g. a dracula esque cloak for "Cloaking Field") or in some abstract way what the thing should represent (a bunch of arrows for Accelerate). I have, with any luck, scaled everything to be based around a hexagonal grid scale of 2 (previous mods were 1.5 but I've since recanted). Snapping should be turned to "both" because the snapping requirements for sizes 2 and 4 is different than for 0.5, 1, and 3.

All of the objects are in the bags which are effectively being used as folders. PCs are sorted by manufacturer & license - so PC -> IPSN -> Vlad to get to the Caltrop Launcher. NPCs are sorted by Role and then Class, so NPC -> Controller -> Archer. I very strongly recommend using the right click -> search function.

I used a couple of colors for different purposes - things that are 'agentic' like PCs and NPCs are white, objects that take up space are slate, things that affect areas but aren't really obstructions like smoke clouds or gravity fields are canary, and drones are periwnkle. Things that are "small" enough that they don't have a size listing but do need to be kept track of, such as mines and soul vessels, are white circles.

I tried to make shapes as convenient as I could, but a few were simply miserable to try to make. The big ones were lines, cones, and bursts. Lines and cones can distort on hex grids, and unless a burst was linked to a speciifc class (e.g. Shroud Charge is always attached to Sniper which is always Size 1 so I could just make it equivalent to Blast 3, though I guess you could make Ship Snipers in which case I'm in trouble) I just made them Size 1 so you'll have to make those shapes as needed. I may change my mind on this if I come up with a better system.

Templates and "Marks" are designed to go on the upper right on the affected token, while statuses & conditions are designed to go on the left side. The status and condition tokens are slightly clipped because it made balancing & sizing them much easier.

And as a minor note, for the Everests, which officially lack art, I just took every mech from the core rulebook that wasn't unambiguously another mech (and that I was able to figure out a pleasing crop for) and made them size one. They're labeled "Everest-#" where the # is the page number from core.

If I have made any mistakes please feel free to leave polite feedback.

All icons here were produced either using existing art from Massif, or they came from flaticon.com , which allows the use of icons with attribution & linking. My contribution to the art was only in backing, framing, scaling, and cropping in the case of Massif art. The attributions list exceeded the character limit so I've put them in a pastebin, which is here:
