Why I'm glad you asked, Poff Hopping Is a method where you use your Poff cannon to double your speed or jump height.

How does it work?

It uses the same principal as Rail Launching... What? Are you not impressed? Oh I get it you have no idea what I'm talking about! Well that's ok that's why I'm making this guide. So here is how it works Friendly fire is always on in Epigenesis witch means you can hit yourself. So using the Poff Cannon's knockback you can increase you speed and jump height.


P.S. If you know how to rocket jump then you know how to poff hop you just have to get a handle on Epigenesis' physics.

So how do I do it?

Well that's simple just aim at the ground and shoot! Well not really it's a little harder then that it requires precise timing and the perfect angle witch changes depending on the type of jump you want

Ok so what are the angles?

And it's time for math! Just kidding. Please don't leave! Ok now that you are back here's the trick.

Result	Angle	How to	Example
High Speed/Low Height	190 Degrees	Pull your mouse all the way back
Medium Speed/Medium Height	180 Degrees	Aim as close to straight down as you can
Low Speed/High Height	170 Degrees	Aim at the ground just infront of you (you should only see the platform you are on)

Let me guess you stood on the spawn pad and shot yourself off the edge right?

In order for the plasma hopping to work you must be moving and have a fully charged jump ready. First start running while holing the spacebar now at full speed approach the edge of your current platform. Then set your aim angle according to the jump you want to make then fire and release your jump at the same time and if you did it right you will be soaring!

So how do i "Dominate"


Why that is all about skill and practice but to get you started here are a few tips and tricks!

• Speed or height? Usually you want speed you want to get to the ball first or quickly get back to your goal to defend.
  
• In Onami arena you can poff hop to the center platform in less then 7 seconds (assuming your not shot down)
  
• In Argos arena you can poff hop center platform in less then 6 seconds if you do it right
  
• You can use the idea behind poff hopping to aim your shots at Opponents to send them flying at crazy angles.
  
• You can use this in conjunction with left control (level 1 jump instantly) to gain some massive speed assuming you can handle flick shots and returning your view to where it was without getting disoriented. (Contributed by Colossal Biceps)

Saber, you need to play this game more. It can't be that the person that gave me tips about how to jump is slower than me :3

Also Omani arena midtime is 5 seconds, Argosarena 6 or so in a single jump, Gadgetarena is 4 seconds and Granarena 11...

Oh and I don't think that ctrl jump is of much use to go fast... only for not dieing on the small plattforms on granarena >_>
