Maybe in a future update we'll get a "check all" button.
I just checked my large warehouse in the Florida Keys, and there there is an "All" checkbox at the top. This must have been added in a recent update.
Then, have a local trade route that goes through your cluster cities to make sure that 1. you are keeping them all well stocked and 2. you are bringing the excess to the main Hub for the outside trade routes
Thanks in advance!
This has not been working very well yet -- I think you're right that price-tweaking needs to be perfect in order to get the ship to pick up the necessary items. How I wanted it to work was that the "delivery truck" would automatically pick up items from the warehouse that were demanded on the rest of its line. That does not seem to happen at all, sometimes what it picks up seem almost to be random.
Can't thank you enough for all your help here. Your work is outstanding!
I've been experimenting more with having the warehouse be a transfer point between regions that are lacking certain commodities. I'm also testing out having a dedicated convoy for each commodity.
With the star system, though, I've been able to make massive amounts of money. The key is you need to have that warehouse being supplied continuously. My solution is to have a one or two ship convoy that leaves from the warehouse to go get one commodity, and then return to unload it. This also takes some finessing as towns grow and build new businesses
I'm still having trouble with Star distribution systems. I'm getting ships to dump their materials into a centralized warehouse but they aren't making any money at all doing so. Meanwhile the ships that pick that cargo up don't seem to make any money transporting it either. Obviously I've done something wrong in a setting somewhere, I'm just not sure where yet.
