Changing you resolution for your needs

How to

-You'll want to go to C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Local\DeadByDaylight\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor (or search %appdata%)

-Delete file called "GameUserSettings.ini"

-Startup your game (preferably you will want to set fullscreen ON, set desired resolution, graphics and volume in game) and then quit your game

-DBD created new "GameUserSettings.ini" in the folder mentioned above and open it with note editor of your choice

-Make those changes in your GUS.ini file:

-RED underline: Necessary, set as displayed on the image

-PINK underline: Set your desired resolution (mine is 1280x720)

-BLUE underline: NOT necessary; Set desired FPS cap, disable V-Sync

-Save the file changes (Press File>Save (Ctrl+S)) and close the text document

-Right click on the file in your file explorer and select properties and set file as "read-only" and press apply

Doesn't work?

Possible 3 fixes:

-Set Steam Dead By Daylight launch options to: -fullscreen -w 1280 -h 720 (width and height is your custom resolution)

-Don't edit DesiredScreenWidth, DesiredScreenHeight, LastUserConfirmedDesiredScreenWidth and LastUserConfirmedDesiredScreenHeight in your text document (start from over)

-Check your graphics card settings and make changes to DBD and/or your screen
