Class Recommendation:
Beginner: For those who are starting out and wanna jump in the war wagon of the exciting world of bloody conflict then here is what I recommend for you~
Skills:
The Sentinel Guardian - Focusing the majority of your enemies aggro on you with AOE spells and has great maneuverability thanks to a low cooldown grappling ability.
Necessary:

1.) Sentinel - A great utility class that can ease your assault upon the enemy. Grappling on a large area at the start of battle to draw in the attention of the enemy while following up with several AOE abilities will ensure a large portion of the enemy is focused on you and sparing your army. Max out [Enlarge] for high survivability and increased damage.

2.) Guardian - A great tank which utilizes in taking focus from your own units and unto you. Has high defense and can survive for a long period of time which you can utilize effectively with sentinel's [Enlarge] ability for a higher combat survivability rate. Save [Resillience] exclusively if [Enlarge] cannot handle the amount of damage being absorbed.
Optional:

Stamina Boost - for increased survivability

Strength Boost - for increased damage

Total: 100 Points
Squad Recommendation:
Psh.. Squad! Haha! What a silly joke. Don't waste your Legacy points on something as silly as a "Squad" use it for the next thing, which are.... Items!
Item Recommendation:
Items are one of the best ways to utilize Legacy Points. Like a smart person, I don't waste them on things I can get in-game. So, here are my recommendations:
Needs:
1. Sherpa x20 - Having extra inventory space is always good, and since there is no other way (that I know of yet) to increase it then I choose Sherpas. Generally speaking, having all 99 Sherpa's would be great; however, the game has things called "warehouses" in your cities where you can store most of the stuff you don't wanna sell yet, like goods. Having 20 is "good enough" in my opinion as you still have other stuff to buy.
Optional:
1. Stamina Potion x5 - Contrary to their appearance, these "potions" (actually pills) are a good way to get that extra buff pieces of buff to your character you make you mui mui macho~
2. Strength Potion x5 - Same with stamina. Mas Macho!

Total: 70 Legacy Points
Settings Recommendation:
Time to pick up the pace with some extra settings.
Optional:
Troop Limit x5 - Troop Limit is a great help for when you need to amass a giant army to help you in the battlefield. Though, it requires abit of resources to fully army them to their maximum it will be worth it in the end.
Possibly Good?:
Difficulty - I haven't unlocked this yet so Idk if it will be good or not. Personally, having more levels is good but...the +health and damage for enemies isn't that all appealing quite yet.
Total Cost: 75
Making Friends Before Allies:
The title is abit deceiving as you actually won't make allies. You make friends!.. lots and lots of friends.. basically, you want to have +50 relationship with every recruitable person in the game before you decide to start your own faction. You can ignore faction leaders as even if you have maximum positive relationship with them they will still declare war on you. What you want to do however is make every non-leader to have at least +50 relation with you as this is what let's you recruit them into your army.

Every time you recruit a person they join your party so having higher party limit would be understability better, however, that is not the case. When you perform your first siege you will most likely have to make sure you win and then declare a sultan from your current party members and place them into the newly conquered area so they can start recruiting their own army as well.

This is where you take advantage of what the enemy does not, personal relations. You will be overwhelmed when you decide to take your first capital city so it's understandable to see that your "friends" are on the defense are ready to defend their home. This is not what you want, what you want to do is do a siege while another faction is attacking as well, you're gonna take advantage of the chance and siege a city or outpost, place your warriors and garrison then transfer all your party members to that city.

For those who do not know how to do the appoint sultan or transfer members, it is all under the [Intel] section (bottom right of your screen) and inside the [Diplomacy and Strategy] menu. It is fairly easy to understand but you can question me about it in the official discord server. I'll be the person with letters that look like Asian handwriting but is actually just distorted letters.

I have 9 heroes in my party and started my own faction. I do not have other chars at +50 favor. How to get officers for my faction in this situation?

If you are having a hard time in a siege you can use the INTEL screen's diplomacy button to form a squad, which calls either selected or all of your sultans to assist you (don't forget they need travel time to get to you). I recommend just picking one or two from each map so you leave defensive groups patrolling. Always keep your core 3 officers for exploration missions and use your extra slots to keep nabbing new officers and put them in your main city garrison until you need them, but DO NOT assign them as a sultan unless they are in your party or they will take any soldiers in the garrison with them as they head to their new place.

The key to a great army is farming a ton of gifts before you get started so you can gift them like crazy to get all them officers for your self. Once you pick your desired city to take over, instead start with it's outposts and take them one by one. After you have the outpost assign a throw away officer as it's sultan so he will build up his own army you can use him to back you up later and keep your city safe while you travel. The minor gains from the outposts do not make it worth you personally setting up any garrison and defending when these throw away officers can do this for you. This defensive set up will become OP once you have all 3 cities on the map and all of their outposts have their own sultans. After a while I never even had to go back to help defend my cities from sieges.

to feyora: I am not sure as I am the leader type, not a follower. Starting from nothing I decimated all in my path and took control of everything in Salzaar. However, you can try going to your [Intel] Menu, click the faction which you are aligned with, click [Diplomacy and Strategy] and see if you have the [Muster up a squadron] option. If not then you are on your own.

to Meng: The best way to raise friendship with certain npcs is with gifts. Depending on your talent, it can raise up to 30 points per gift which might be the fastest method depending also if you have the gifts they desire. I will make a guide soon about it as well.

Question then, say you go with a faction thats already there and want to take territory, how to get the other armies to join you so its not always just you alone against an entire faction's combat force?

is there any comprehensive guide on how to raise the friendship level? aside from the errand quest, whilst the npc goin arround the whole map making it more immersive yet difficult to complete.

The only way to restore units is by using restore potions. However, here's a tip: Do not promote units unless you only have half of them remaining (not counting 1 max cap units) because, when you do promote them they auto-restore.

How do you heal units? Without using restores
Bei  [author] Sep 26, 2020 @ 5:53pm
I have not tried yet but if you do a siege and click [Start a new faction] then logically it should work. However, you can just ask the discord server publishers for a more sound answer.
