I see you already own Kenshi. Great for mining ;--)
But I never got used to Avorion. Did you try it? With the automatically mining ships which you designed? Some how? Never got that working :-)
But landing and getting lots of money when selling is never getting old.
I'll have to have a look at Star Valor. Perhaps something for the wishlist.
I skipped a lot to avoid too many spoilers.
A section especially for mining would be nice. I am a grandmaster miner in UO, so I just have to try it in every game where you can mine. Yes. I am very childish. :-)

I wasn't going to write this, but since your most recent comment speaks about typos:
In "Being an effective Trucker", midway through the second paragraph
"so you don't have too", it should be "so you don't have to" it is the infinitive marker of the unrepeated verb, in this case "do": I did it, so you you don't have to [do it]
