solucion de battlefield 3 no se ejecuta

quiero aclarar que esta solucion no es mia y la encontre (aca esta el link):

Solucion al error

1. Vaya a su unidad C: \

(Si instala todo en una unidad diferente y solo usa C para el sistema operativo, puede estar en esa unidad diferente. Verifique C: \ aunque primero, ya que es el valor predeterminado que no debería poder cambiar)

2. Debería ver Archivos de programa, Archivos de programa (x86), Usuarios, etc. Busque la carpeta llamada "ProgramData" y acceda a "C: \ ProgramData \ Electronic Arts \ EA Services \ License"

(Si no ve una carpeta llamada ProgramData, en la parte superior de su explorador de archivos verá Archivo, Inicio, Compartir, Ver, etc. Haga clic en la pestaña Ver y debería aparecer un panel y expandirse (si aún no estaba expandido). A la derecha, verá el botón "opciones". Haga clic en él y se abrirá un nuevo panel de opciones. Haga clic en la pestaña de vista en el panel que acaba de aparecer y desplácese hacia abajo hasta que veas "Archivos y carpetas ocultos". Debajo, asegúrate de que la opción "Mostrar bla, bla, bla" esté marcada. Si eso no aparece en tu carpeta, lee las otras opciones y verás alguna otra funcionalidad habilitada. Solo revisa esos.

3. Elimine el archivo .dlf. Cuando vuelva a abrir BF3 a través de Steam, Origin volverá a crear automáticamente el archivo y eso solucionará su problema.
