Octodad Achievement Guide

When you need help with Achieveables

Intro

Here is my guide to get the achievements for Octodad. If I don't know how to get one I will Do my best to give tips.

Achievements

Be the Controller-Simple enough, just plug in a controller and play if you don't have one sorry.

No Cutsies-In the Aquatic Fun Center after Scarlet gives you the coupon just stand in line and dont cut.

Au Naturel-Just play through the game and you will get it.

World's Best Dad-Beat the game.

Dancing in the Dark- In the Deep Sea level with Stacy. Just do the dance floor minigame, and don't miss any of the lit up panels.

Stairs with Attitude-In the Deep Sea level with Stacy. Get up the escalators in the end in under 30 seconds, This one can be tough if you're good with leg control.

The Hero They Deserve-In the World of Kelp level with Tommy. In the minigame where you control the otter, and he kicks urchins at you. Just block enough so that no more than 5 hit the end.

Secrets Of the Deep- In the Deep Sea level with Stacy, light up and look at all the jellyfish tanks. Credit to Dororo.

Band of Blubbers- On the Sea Legs level grab 5 fish from conveyors or boxes and throw them off the boat into the ocean. Probably easier to do this after you get the captain's uniform :).

Stay True to Yourself- On Silent and Dadly. Just climb the ladder next to Amazon Arcade, Go up top and fall in the crate of stuffed and animals, DO NOT pick up the shark suit. Just walk into the glass and break it, and go up the stairs on the other side and go into the Tray Return. It's ok if you get seen a little.

Secret Shopper- In the Gervason's Grocery Store, go to the frozen food aisle, climb up to the top of shelf, and pick the cereal for the kid up from the top.

Head Otter-In the World of Kelp level, in the minigame with the otter you control and Tommy kicking urchins, take the head off the otter and wear it.

The Best Man- In Wedding Bells, When you walk down the lane, on the right there should be a fish flopping somewhere on the 4th row pick it up, put it on the altar, then put the ring on scarlet's finger. This one is a little glitchy cause the fish can flop off the altar just do it quickly and hope for luck.

Smokey the Dad- On Home Sweet Home, in the kitchen there should be a log burning in the fireplace, pick it up and put it in the sink. If you get suspicion, don't worry just do it fast.

Unacceptable Purchase!- In Gervason's Grocery Store. After the chase from the chef is done, pick up a lemon from the fruit place, and ring it up on the self-checkout with all the other things you have to do.

Number 100 Dad- Die 100 times in a playthrough, simple enough.

Trickshot-gun Wedding. In Wedding Bells, pick up the ring and throw it from a distance onto scarlet's finger. Shouldn't be too tough, but can be tricky if you're not that good with arm control.

Independant Woman- In Hot Consessions. Just stand behind the fish statues and let scarlet throw the fish to you and it will automatically stick onto the fish statue.

The Secret Gardener- on Home Sweet Home when weeding the flower garden just don't step on any flowers. When done weeding you should get it if you didn't step on any. This one is kinda hard.

Person-al Shopper- In Gervason's Grocery Store, put something in everyone's cart.

Oh Captain, my captain- In Sea Legs, after getting the captain's suit just walk up to 5 people and you should get it. If not just try more people and stuff.

Trim your Moustache-In Home Sweet Home, instead of just reaching up and placing it(won't work) Just try and stand under the hook, and throw it onto the hook, may take a few tries.

Around the World in Several Seconds-In the World of Kelp at the beginning globe minigame. Just click all the spots in under 30 seconds. Just learn the locations and hope for good arm control.

Domino Dynamo- In Wedding Bells, when you're walking down the lane to scarlet, knock one of the rows of vases over domino style. Can be kind of tough.

Dunk Tank-In The Amazon Arcade when the pirranha cage breaks, Plug one of the holes with a basketball.

Silent but Dadly-In Silent but Dadly(Obviously)Sneak into the ladies room go into the vent and into the break room, but DO NOT sound the alarm. Crawl through the vent into the men's room. Don't fall right in cause of the guy there. Move your feet into a stall next to him and fall in there, then leave the stall and touch the men's room door from the insided and there you go.

Poor Workplace Ettique- In Silent but Dadly. You need to put something on the waffle iron until it smokes, put something in the microwave (like the toaster for instance) until it smokes, and then put something on the stove top and turn all the burners on (until it smokes). Credit to DeathlessDragon for giving how to actually achieve it. Sorry for before.

Dadliest Wardrobe-Find all the ties ,you can look at a guide online if you need to.

Amazonian Antagonist-In The Amazon Arcade, get caught cheating in The Crane Game by entering it, Air Hockey by standing on the table, The Turtle by climbing in it, The Basketball game by standing in it, and the Fish Toss from standing in it. Credit to Dororo

Cod Of Duty- In Sea Legs, Grab one of the Cods and bring all the way to the chef when you meet scarlet. Sneak past the chef and when Scarlet calls him to ask him about the war, come up from behind and hit him with the fish from behind.

Number 1 Dad- Beat the Game without Dying. VERY HARD

Everybody Loves Joe-In Silent but Dadly, wear Joe's suit and show it to everyone the scientists around the shark tank, the 5 in the break room, and the guy in the break room.

Your description of how to get Stay True to Yourself is inaccurate. You can't put ANY disguise on if you're trying to get this achievement, including the biologist costume. You have to sneak past the biologists and get to the ladies' room naked (I did it by partly obfuscating the way with the cart the costume is in, then fastly sneaking behind one of them against the wall. Took me a couple attempts). I know this is an old guide but I suggest you update this

Just don't get the suspicion bar filled all the way up. The marine biologists give a lot of suspicion when hit or if they see you if they are in groups like the silent but dadly level your pretty much screwed.

The first rare achievement I obtained was "Number 1 Dad" without realising because I had done what the game wanted me to do and I didn't die.

I did number one dad first time without even realising, well technically ive played the game a lot on console but its not that hard
