Additional Lore and Story Info
Here you'll find interesting information about the game you may have not seen, as well as some information not seen in the game.
Finding Dolph
In the start cinema, that the man with the orb, Saul Grimwall, wanders to an area and throws his orb away. This is the Jiggly swamp. Dolph has wandered there in his drunken stupor and you need to rescue him. Before you go there, there's a few things you can do. You can also go to the pub and pay Larry for Dolph's rent. He won't evict you that way, and you'll skip a battle. However, if you plan on getting everything in the game, the best way possible, do not pay Larry. Make sure you grab the brew in the cupboard in Dolph's house, however.

Secrets
- Once you win 50 crowns from Damon in Bones, he will call you a con-man and will only let you play you for fun. Damon can be found in the pub.
- After you win 100 crowns from the chicken races, Cathy will say she's broke and you can only watch.
- You can find a brew in Dolph's house, inside the cupboard. His house is the very bottom-left in the housing district.
- If you talk to the crate inside Damon's house (next to Geoff's house) multiple times, it will eventually fork over 22 crowns.
- There is a needle in one of the hay stacks in Auldes Farm. It is located in the chicken fence; there will be six hay stacks next to each other, the needle is found in the bottom-middle one.
- There is a headstone in the graveyard that has a Holy Cheese. It's the 3rd down, 3rd right from the top-left most gravestone. There is a tombstone to it's left with a blue flower, and a tombstone to it's right with a red flower.
- Under the Auldes bridge is a Holy Cheese. You can get there by going down the stairs to the field of growing crops, and going right to the edge of the cliff. Walk up and soon you'll find yourself beneath the bridge. Simply press the action button under the bridge until you find it.
- Donate at least 50 crowns to the Church of Cheese. Then talk to Clement the preist and he will hand over a Holy Cheese for your graciousness. It is only recommended that you do this if you got 50 crowns from Damon, or 100 crowns from the chicken races. Otherwise you will need to rent the economic suite, missing the Twinkling Ring.
- Behind the water fountain in Gouda is a Holy Cheese. It is hidden by the peak of the fountain. Gouda is south of the Crossroads.

                                                                          Battle One

Being the first battle in the game, it's also the easiest. You'll have no problem winning, as long as you don't let the Jigglers surround you. Try and lure the cubes away from each other, one at a time, and attack the cubes that are on their own. Save Needle Strikes for the Water Jelly, as it is the hardest cube in the battle.
                                                                  Reward - Holy Cheese
Find a Bed
Now that you've won the battle, go talk to Dolph and he will start following you. He needs a bed now, since he's sick. Before you leave the swamp, venture to the bottom-left of it to find a dead body with a key on it. Take the key, and go on your way. There are three possible bed choices for Dolph. The first choice would be Dolph's house, but if you didn't pay Larry beforehand he'll evict you. A cinema happens in Geoff's house, where his bed was stolen, so you can't have Dolph sleep there. The last two choices are the suites at the Inn. There is the Noble's suite for 50 crowns (you will find the twinkling ring in the chest of the Noble's suite, a good accessory), and the Economic suite for 5 crowns. If you have 60 crowns and over, it's a good idea to get the Noble's suite. Once you are done getting the bed, you need to find a cure for your friend.

Secrets
- After finding Dolph a bed, in the Crossroads by the Jiggly Swamp entrance, Foswald will give you a medal if you give him an Ioon ale. This is your only chance in the game to give him this!

Finding the Cure
If you ask around town, you'll get a lot of useful suggestions for cures. Make sure you talk to a lot of people, and if you're not certain take a stroll to Gouda to get expert advice (located south of the crossroads). If you still don't know the cure, buy a brew if you don't already have one, the go to the church and get it blessed on the Church pedestal. It will turn into Brewed Lightning and will cure Dolph. Once Dolph is cured go to the Shopping District.

                                                                 Optional Battle

This battle will not occur if you pay Larry and use Dolph's bed. Instead, one of the town guards will take care of the attack. If you slept in the Inn, in either suite, you will fight this battle. This battle is also relatively easy. Double team the enemies with Dolph and Geoff to eliminate them quickly. If the enemies are boxing you in, use Dolph's cleave ability to get them to back off a square. If one of your characters is being attacked by two or more cubes at the same time, get him out of there and regroup.
                                                                 Reward - None
Returning the Orb
There will be an orb located where the battle took place, pick it up and return it to Saul Grimwall, the prophet. He can be found in the top-right house in the housing district. Once you return the orb, you will be given the chance to earn even more crowns! You must venture to the Imp Cave located in the Crossroads to get an Idol located in there. Then use that Idol to enter Lockloth's tomb. Before you go to the Imp Cave, you may want to buy some items or weapons, so stock up and head off when you are prepared.

Secrets
- In the Auldes Farm, Mary will give you carrot cake if you talk to her after returning the orb to Saul Grimwall, the prophet.
- Donate at least 50 crowns to the Church of Cheese. Then talk to Clement the priest and he will hand over a Holy Cheese for your graciousness. Use the money you got from the Orb to cover this cost.

                                                                          Battle Two

Imps are tame when not angered, but they are easily aggravated and go into a wild fury when mad. Imp Fury is a skill the Imps can use that boosts their attack considerably, so take out the angry Imps first and focus your attacks on them. Use Needle Strikes immediately and frequently until you have no more SP. Since Imp's are very fast they can easily overwhelm you, so eliminating even one Imp makes the battle a lot easier; until they are all eliminated. Use Dolph's Cleave when needed to push the Imp's back. If Dolph has the skill Home Brew, use it.
                                                                  Reward - Holy Cheese
Lockloth's Tomb
Once you are done the battle, grab the Idol from the chest in the cave. Then head off the the graveyard, east of the housing district. The tomb is located at the very top of the graveyard. Use the Idol in the depression to enter the tomb. Inside you will need to solve the puzzle to get to the first tablet of prophecy. If you can't figure it out, here's the solution:

1. Fill the 5 gallon tank.
2. Transfer the 5 gallon tank to the 3 gallon tank.
3. Empty the 3 gallon tank.
4. Transfer the 5 gallon tank to the 3 gallon tank.
5. Fill the 5 gallon tank.
6. Transfer the 5 gallon tank to the 3 gallon tank.

Grab the tablet and get out of the tomb. Save by the well on your way out. You will then be confronted by Deth Rogers in a battle for the tablet.

                                                                           Battle Three

Deth is a tough opponent and is not to be dealt with lightly. He has an intense bolt attack that inflicts heavy damage, so you best avoid him while you take out other enemies, or wait until he is out in the open to double team him. Use your most powerful attacks on him, like Needle Strikes, don't waste them on the zombies and skeletons as they are much less deadly. You can kill Deth very quickly this way, and it will minimize the damage he inflicts on you. Dolph is especially effective against the Zombies and Skeletons because of his high defense and HP.
                                                                  Reward - Holy Cheese
The Next Tablet
After defeating Deth, head back to the prophet to get your reward and instructions on the next tablet. You need to talk to Jhon Granditti, his house is right next to the Imp Cave. He will join your quest and when you are on your way to the woods an old enemy of Jhon's will confront you.

                                                                       Battle Four

Jhon, the newest addition to the team, isn't very strong when you first get him. Before the battle you may want to use a Holy Cheese on him to get his healing spell. While it isn't needed, it can help make the battle easier. Red is a very skilled opponent with high SP, so use Jhon's Punch Line to sap Red's SP. This will prevent him from using his Flame Blast many times. Since Red is likely to attack you right at the start, kill him first. Then the Zombies will fall easily.
                                                                  Reward - Holy Cheese
The Second Tablet
Head to the woods after the battle, west of the crossroads. Once there you will need to navigate the woods. Go in the direction of the top right to get to the Imp Burial grounds. In the Imp Burial grounds, you will find the second tablet laying on a pedestal.

Secrets
- The first north area you can go in The Forbidden Path has a chest with Carrot Cake in it. To the right of the chest is a hidden path that leads to an empty pot of gold that is supposed to throw you off looking for the real pot.
- To the north of the woods is a golden jiblets. He moves around so won't always be exactly there. Talk to him and you will get a piece of Holy Cheese.
- Larry's pot of gold is found at a secret path at the north-east of the woods. The trees give an illusion that you cannot walk past them, but if you look closely you will notice there is enough clearing to walk by.

                                                                        Battle Five

Jhon's healing ability helps greatly in this battle, because the Zombie Imps can dish out big damage and have a 2 square attack range. So if you haven't already got it, get it. The Imps surround you for the most part, so make a clearing to a safe location so you don't box yourself in. Otherwise you could be on the receiving end of a Zombie Imp onslaught. As usual, try and take out the enemies one by one.
                                                                  Reward - Holy Cheese
The Cancer Jelly
After the battle, Ash will join your party. Head out of the woods. Just as you're about to leave, Larry will nick the tablet! He runs off and you need to get the tablet back. As you leave to the crossroads, you will see Larry get eaten by a Jelly. It will then run off to the swamp. Now would be a good time to go back in town to get ready for the next battle. When you're done, go to the swamps to fight the Jelly.

Secrets
- After Larry steals the tablet from you in the woods, go back to the town in the Housing District. Nova Lynch's house will be unlocked, it is the top-left house. Talk to her and say no to her question, she will hand over a brew.
- In the Auldes farm, Stew gives you armour if you talk to him multiple times before fighting Larry (the Cancer Jelly).

                                                                          Battle Six

In this battle it is best to leave the Cancer Jelly for the end rather than taking him out at the start. It's very slow and it won't be hard avoiding it, so take out all the other Jellies before you launch an assualt on the Cancer Jelly. When you attack him it is best to hit him with all you've got, so don't waste your skills on the less powerful Jellies. Use Geoff and Dolph to lead the offense, and Ash and Jhon as support characters. The Cancer Jelly is very strong but slow.
Reward - Holy Cheese, Varivald Tablet, Larry's House Deed
The Trials
Take the tablet back to Saul, he will reward you handsomely and give you a Cheese Effigy. Go to the Gated Community now that you have his Land Deed. Go in Michaels house and talk to Lord Ridley and Lord Michaels multiple times. Michaels will tip you 100 crowns, and Ridley will give you 50 crowns. Go to Gouda and head south to the Arches.

Trail 1 - In this trial you must follow the path. Do not grab the chest or try to take either of the two shortcuts. Nothing will happen if you do, but Cheesus will scold you if you give into temptation.

Trial 2 - Simply find 5 cheese pyramids. There are teleport points in this trial, so when the stars in the background change that means you've moved position.

Trial 3 - Choose the path that best suits you for a reward. Which ever path you choose is the opposite of what it is marked as. The shield path for instance will give you a sword. You can get all of the chests by going to the bottom corners of the platforms the chest lays on. You will be walking in the blackness, but move up and down until you get past the barriers to the next platform.

Once done, save and exit Gouda.

Secrets
- Behind the water fountain in Gouda is a Holy Cheese. It is hidden by the peak of the fountain. Search there to get it. You may have already got this earlier, but this is a reminder.

                                                                           Battle Seven

Deth Rogers is back, and this time meaner than ever. It's a good idea to take out the enemy half closest to you, then Deth. Use Punch line to drain Deth's SP, his bolt attack is even stronger this time around. Use all your characters to batter Deth, and when he falls finish off the rest. Use Home Brew for Dolph whenever he moves but doesn't attack, it will help keep him alive. You can even use this tactic to use Dolph as bait to get Deth to attack you at the start.
                                                                  Reward - Holy Cheese
Loose Ends
This is the point in the game where you should explore any remaining areas you haven't already. You can check the Holy Cheese and Hidden Items section if you want to try and get a more complete play through. This is also the point in the game where you can fight Benbar. He is now at the camp site in the southwest of The Forbidden Path.

                                                                 Optional Battle

Benbar has high stats, but there's only one of him and five in your party. It's important to bring lots of healing items as his attacks will do heavy damage to allies. Try and get him to attack Dolph or Geoff, as they are best equipped to deal with his attacks. Use Jhon as a full support character, Stone for cheap shots / support, and Ash to pass his turn to Geoff for Needle Strikes.
                                                           Reward - Holy Cheese x3
The Crypt of Darkness
You will notice Saul is now in jail for possession of the forbidden tablets, and Lord Michaels urgently wants to see you. Speak to Michaels as soon as you can. He will tell you he wants an object in the Crypt of Darkness, and he's wants you to get it for him. You have no choice in this matter, but he will fork over 250 crowns as the first half of the reward. Now is the time to explore the areas you haven't to get Holy Cheese's, other items, or crowns. You may as well spend all your money too. Potatoes are a good SP healing item, and so are Brewed Lightning (Brew blessed on the church pedestal). You'll also want to upgrade your characters weapons. It is strongly recommended you get Stone's Redwood Bow. It has a three square attack range, and not only is this very useful, but if you use a Holy Cheese on Stone to get Copper Arrow you can attack three enemies with one attack. Proving to be very useful for the upcoming battles. When prepared, go back to the Gated Community, and go to the path just left of Michaels' residence. This is the path to the Crypt of Darkness. Once inside you will encounter a block puzzle. If you don't know the solution, here it is:

Left, Left, Up, Up, Right, Right, Up, Right, Down, Down, Right, Right, Right, Left, Left, Left, Left, Left, Right, Right

Go down to the second level and make sure to save your game before you trek any further. Once you move past a certain point the battle will ensue.

                                                                       Battle Eight

Knyf (the blue one) has good skill, but bad defense and HP, while Otis (the red one) has good attack and defense, but bad skill and SP. So use physical attacks on Knyf, and save using Conductor for Otis since he has weak skill.
                                                                     Reward - None

Last Battle
Grab the ball of yarn on the pedestal. You can look at the red cloth on the ground to see an interesting plot development, too. It's a good idea to save the game too, under a different slot, as you cannot go back to town any more. Head up and you'll fight the last battle.

                                                                       Battle Nine

Banion is extremely fast, meaning he moves far, gets turns often, is very hard to hit, and has attacks that are hard to dodge. Depending on how the battle is going, you'll need to decide who to attack. If not many Sooty Bones are attacking you, focus your attacks on Banion. However, if a lot are attacking you take them out, or they will get many cheap shots on you, which will lead to defeat. Michaels has a very powerful spell, so don't let him get too close. He is fast, but usually isn't as aggressive as Banion.
                                                                     Reward - None

The End
That's right, you've beat the game! You can now sit back, relax, and enjoy the cinemas. When the credits are done rolling, press any button. It will prompt you to save. You can use this save for the next chapter of Gythol Granditti, so make sure you keep it if you want to continue using your items and stats.
Holy Cheese Locations
There are 18 total Holy Cheeses in the game, unlike some items in the game, you can get the hidden Holy Cheeses at any point in the game. You get 11 by winning battles; seven are hidden. Here are the locations of all of them:

- Automatic. After the battle to rescue Dolph in the Jelly Swamp.
- Automatic. When you pick up Saul's orb you also get a Holy Cheese.
- Automatic. After the battle in the Imp Cave.
- Automatic. After the battle with Deth in the graveyard
- Automatic. After the Red Skeleton battle.
- Automatic. After the Imp Burial Grounds battle.
- Automatic. After the Cancer Jelly fight in the Jelly Swamp.
- Automatic. After the battle with Deth in the Crossroads.
- Donate at least 50 crowns to the Church of Cheese. Then talk to Clement the priest and he will hand over a Holy Cheese for your graciousness.

- Behind the water fountain in Gouda is a Holy Cheese. It is hidden by the peak of the fountain.
- There is a headstone in the graveyard that has a Holy Cheese. It's the 3rd down, 3rd right from the top-left most gravestone. There is a tombstone to it's left with a blue flower, and a tombstone to it's right with a red flower.
- To the north of the Forbidden Woods is a golden jiblet monkey. He moves around so won't always be exactly there, but will be in that general area. Once you enter the woods rush to that position as fast as you can and you will see him moving around. Talk to him and you will get a piece of Holy Cheese.
- Larry's pot of gold yields a Holy Cheese. Larry's pot of gold is found at a secret path at the north-east of the Forbidden Woods. The trees give an illusion that you cannot walk past them, but if you look closely you will notice there is enough clearing to walk by.
- Behind the painting in Gorge Boreman's house is a Holy Cheese.
- You get 3 Holy Cheese for defeating Benbar in The Forbidden Path. He appears in the bottom left corner of The Forbidden Path after Battle Seven with Deth.
Hidden Items and Crowns
The items below can be found at any point in the game.
- Inside the guard quarters at the barracks is a chest that contains a brew.
- There is a needle in one of the hay stacks in Auldes Farm. It is located in the chicken fence; there will be six hay stacks next to each other. The needle is found in the bottom-middle one.
- Go to the Housing District. If you talk to the crate inside Damon's house (next to Geoff's house) multiple times, it will eventually fork over 22 crowns.

- Larry's pot of gold is found at a secret path at the north-east of the forbidden woods. The trees give an illusion that you cannot walk past them, but if you look closely you will notice there is enough clearing to walk by.

Some items in Gythol are very rare and you might only have one chance at getting them:
- Go to the Housing District. You can find a brew in Dolph's house, inside the cupboard. His house is the very bottom-left in the housing district. If you don't pay Larry and forget to get this, you won't be able to since Dolph's house will be locked.
- In the Shopping District, if you rent the Noble's Suite there will be a chest with a Twinkling Ring. Be careful though, because you can only rent one room, so if you order the economic suite you can no longer get the ring.
- In the Jelly Swamps, you can get the armoury key off the dead body in the swamps. You can use it to unlock the back door in the Armoury, in the Shopping District to get Joe's Scarf. The body will go away after around the mid-point of the game.
- In the Auldes Farm, Mary will give you carrot cake if you talk to her after returning the orb to Saul Grimwall, the prophet.
- In the Crossroads by the Jelly Swamp entrance, Foswald will give you a medal if you give him an Ioon ale, when Dolph is in a bed.
- After Larry steals the tablet from you in the woods, go back to the town in the Housing District. Nova Lynch's house will be unlocked, it is the top-left house. Talk to her and say no to her question, she will hand over a brew.
- In the Auldes farm, Stew gives you armour if you talk to him before fighting Larry (the Cancer Jelly).
- After you defeat the Cancer jelly in the swamps, go to the Gated Community now that you have his Land Deed. Go in Michaels house and talk to Lord Ridley and Lord Michaels multiple times. Michaels will tip you 100 crowns, and Ridley will give you 50 crowns.
- In the Trials you can get every item by going to the bottom corners of the platforms the chest lays on. You will be walking in the blackness, but move up and down until you get past the barriers to the next platform.
Battle Tactics and Info
It's important to understand the stats of characters to better determine how you will use them in battle. The stat explanations are as follows:

Armour Class - Determines which armour you can wear. If you have a Light armour class you may only use light armours. If you have a medium armour class you may use medium and light armours. A Heavy armour class allows you to wear any armour.
Weapon Class - You can only equip your character with their weapon class. This is the weapon they specialize in.
Attack - Determines how much damage you inflict.
Defense - Reduces damage you receive on physical attacks.
Hit Points - How much health you have. When this reaches 0 you are eliminated from battle.
Skill Points - Every skill costs SP. The higher your SP is, the more times you can use skills.
Skill - This determines how much of an effect your skills have, and decreases the effect of skills used on you. This stat isn't very important in this chapter because of the lack of skill attacks, but still proves useful.
Agility - This determines how far you can move, how hard you are to hit, how well you can hit, and how fast your turn comes up.

There are some basic fundamentals of battling that should also be followed to help ensure victory:

- Attack the enemy from behind when possible. This gives a critical and hit percent bonus. Attacking from the sides will also give a bonus, but not as much as from behind. It's not a wise idea to attack an enemy from behind if it's going to expose your character to many other enemies, so consider your surroundings.
- Conserve your skills and SP for more powerful enemies. If you've eliminated every enemy but the boss and have no SP left, you're going to have a tough time winning the battle.
- Make sure you use your Holy Cheeses! They permanently increase stats, and will give you a skill on specified levels.
- Equip your characters accordingly. For instance, Ash could use armour a lot more than Jhon could because he'll be taking more hits. The same applies for weapons.
- Always have a few healing items packed. Potatoes and Brewed Lighting are good for SP replenishing, while Brew and McChuckles Ale is good for replenishing HP.
- Try not to allow your characters to get attacked by multiple enemies; this is a big disadvantage. Instead, try and attack enemies one by one, focusing all your attack on one enemy until they perish.
Character Information

                                                                     Geoff Dandy
Geoff is the main character in this chapter and who you will start with. He will probably be your most offensive character in battle.

Needle Strikes - SP 10
This attacks a target 3 times, but with 50% less accuracy. Consider that you may have over a 100% chance to hit a target, so on slower targets this works wonders.

Heavenly Sword - SP 5
Heavenly Sword allows you to attack two squares away, but 50% less damage. Use this skill when you have SP to spare and you can finish off an enemy just out of your range.

                                                                 Dolph Dombardo
You get Dolph shortly after the begginging of the game. Dolph is a good defender, and a suitable attacker too. He can take a lot of damage from physical attacks. While weak in skill, he can still take a lot of punishment from skills because of his high HP. Use him to protect allies, as a secondary offensive character, and as bait to lure enemies. Dolph is also the only character in your party who can use Heavy armour!

Cleave - SP 10
Hits the target with enough force to move them back a square. Useful for protecting other party members or hitting enemies towards other party members so they can attack.

Home Brew - SP 5
Increases Defense by (SKILL x 2), wears off after you are hit. You should typically use this skill at the start of a battle unless you can attack your first turn.

                                                                   Jhon Granditti
Slightly before the mid-point in the game, you'll get Jhon. He can heal, he can deal, and he can tell a good joke too! Ok, maybe not the joke part. As soon as possible use two Holy Cheese's on Jhon (preferably on the SP stat) so he can get his two skills, otherwise he is a weak character. Buying Jhon a better staff will also increase his SP and Skill, so consider buying him one if you use him frequently.

Punch Line - SP 7
Punch line saps (SKILL / 2) SP from whoever you attack. This is especially effective on boss characters, but isn't useful on regular enemies.

Monolouge - SP 10
Heals target HP by (SKILL x 2). If Jhon dies or runs out of SP, you can't depend on it. So always be sure to have a few healing items as back-up.

Conductor - SP 20
Not only is this a very powerful attack, but it has an attack range of 2 squares! Make sure that the enemy you use this on has low skill for maximum damage.

                                                                      Ash Endall
Midway through the game Ash will join your party. His daggers have a 2 square attack range, and he has some good supporting skills. Use him to finish off enemies, use items, and divert enemies. His high agility makes him a hard target to hit.

Confidence - SP 30
This increases your agility by (SKILL / 2), but can only be used on Ash. This makes him even faster, but will deplete his SP greatly, so he won't be able to use Guarantee much.

Guarantee - SP 5
This passes Ash's turn over to an ally. Take note that the ally you use this on will not get this as a bonus turn. It will deplete their turn order allowing them to have the next turn.

Unfortunately, you only get to use Stone for three battles. However, those three battles are the toughest in the game. Stone is the only character in the game who has a weapon that has 3 attack range. Stone is a good secondary attacker, and can attack enemies from afar.

Flawless Accuracy - SP 5
This skill has a 100% chance of hitting the target, no matter how fast or disadvantaged you may be. This is especially useful for Banion in the last battle as he is hard to hit.

Copper Arrow- SP 5
This will hit all enemies in the direction you shoot in. This could potentially be three hits with one arrow if you have the Redwood Bow.

Additional Lore and Story Info
This section contains many spoilers. Do not read this unless you've beaten the game, or don't mind it getting spoiled.

- The purple creature you see at the end of the game is called a "shadow" by many people.
- The Lord Michaels' in this game is actually a clone, not the real Michaels. The statue in the town center will hint this, as the hair is parted to the other side and looks a little different. Also, in the Crypt of Darkness's bottom floor you will find a red cloth with the body of the real Michaels under it.
- A homage to Ungus Fungus (our online web comic) can be found in Larry's former house, to the east of the Gated Community.
- A homage to the main character in our Potato Game can be found in the graveyard; it is the only chipped grave.
- Not only does he own Geoff and Dolph's house, but Larry Leprechaun owns the entire housing district!
- Ennis Lynch, lover of sailors, is actually the mother of Nova Lynch.
- The dead body in the swamp that you get the armoury key from is Fred, the son of Leon, the owner of the armoury.
- Gorge Boreman not only built the gate around Tor Borgh, but he's also a world famous fist fighter.
- Chavo broke Chengala's priceless cheese statue and was sentenced to be her butler for a year. Chengala can no longer go back to her all-woman tribe, as the cheese statue is only given once and must be kept by all members.
- The resemblance between Ruff and Damon isn't a coincidence. Ruff is Damon's father.
- Horrace was responsable for the death of Leon's son, Fred.
- Believe it or not, Deth is one of the fabled "Tainted", an evil group set out to destroy the cheese. Tales of the Tainted are now mostly told to scare children into doing what their parents tell them to do.
- Saul was told by his orb that if he threw it in the swamp, The Other One would return it to him.
- After you kill Deth, Byon Dundant replaces him as the grave digger for the rest of the game.
- Doosh Hardacre is widely known as "Hard Working Doosh Hardacre", especially in his home town LeRoc.
- Alice Hardacre is the fruit vendor in the shopping district.
- Zelda Hardacre keeps reffering to an "invisible purple friend" she has. I wonder who that could be...
- Stew Crenshaw was formerly the general of the Patonia National Guard.
- Parmajohn used to be a resident of Tor Borgh, but now lives in Gouda as a disciple of cheese.
- You're not too sure about Dolph's past, but wonder how he got those Bard clothes? In Dolph's house he has a barrel filled with "strange clothes".
- Geoff and Banion have been enemies as long as he can remember. Just before the story takes place, Geoff was rejected from the town guard while Banion was accepted.
- At the Lucky Loner, Jhon faced off against Red Skeleton in a joke-off that took place in Jhon's hometown. Jhon won the battle, but his fans battered Red afterwards, eventually killing him. Now Red seeks vengence.
- Stone was captured because of his eyes, which are required to make an elixir to revive a great evil.
- Fil Shoulderthump is a passer-by on a mission--he's looking for Ruff, whom he has some "unfinished business" with.
- Benbar is a highly wanted fugitive in Patonia, and when he escapes from the Tor Borgh jail he also breaks an Imp out.
- Lord Ridley is Lord of the neighboring city of Fiddleshire.
- As crazy as it may sound, Lorry Haphe's husband was killed by a leaf bow.

How do you open the locked chests? I couldn't find any guides for this game on the net except this one.
