Beginner Friendly Deck Templates for Each Faction

Some starting templates for decks, up to the Malevolence expansion.

Using common (grey) and rare (green) cards only.

Intended to help beginners and noobs to win more and have more fun at the start of their HHL journey, and as they climb low ranked.

Because you shouldn't need a tonne of epic and legendary cards to have some fun.

And I'd like to see the community grow rather than have newer players feel turned away by tough competition from experienced players with collections grown over many months or even years.

Not all decks are equal

Until you grow your collection and gather more epic (orange) cards and legendaries (yellow), consider using the attached decklists as templates or inspiration.

I suggest focusing on one expansion at time, starting with either the core set or the expansion that features your favourite faction.

There is a lot to say about this game to guide new players, and my general advice is patience when it comes to growing your collection, yet do have fun and enjoy learning.
