Highest (and lowest) DPS gun in each weapon class modded

Ever wanted to know the highest DPS potential weapons for each class when reload and mag size are accounted for? here you go

Akimbo SMGs

This class on average gets 992 DPS but this also varies a lot throughout this class. This class also has the highest DPS weapon in the game (not counting the non-pickup launchers).

The winner is the Akimbo Krinkovs at 1680 DPS. This is the highest DPS weapon in the game if you take the right attachments.

The lowest DPS weapon in the category is Akimbo Patchett L2A1 at 466 DPS. You can see why this weapon class varies now.

ARs

The assault rifle category has an average DPS of 621 but there is a big difference between the DMRs and the regular ARs.

Highest DPS goes the the AMR-16 at 1449 DPS, its also the fastest firing DMR.

Lowest DPS goes to the Valkyria, yep, there's an AR worse than the AMCAR. Having access to mag attachments makes a pretty decent difference in DPS. This gun clocks out at only 206 DPS.

LMGs

The LMG class does good DPS throughout the whole class at an average of 956.

Highest DPS goes to the Brenner 21 at 1095. BUT ONLY IF YOU ARE RELOADING BEFORE YOUR CLIP RUNS OUT!!!. It is very important to not do a full reload on this weapon otherwise its better to run the RPK which is only 2 DPS lower

Lowest DPS goes to the KSP 58 at 853 DPS. A very solid weapon if you dont have DLC.

Akimbo Pistols

Class has a very meager average of 448 DPS, if you must run the pistols you better take some skills.

Highest DPS goes to the Akimbo Broomstick's at 1063 DPS. This is very high compared to the other pistols, this is due to it basically getting a DMR barrel and the downside of the gun having a slow reload in its single form is negated because all akimbo pistols have a reload of 3.17s.

Lowest DPS goes to the the Akimbo M13 9mm's at 208 DPS. Even though this is the fastest firing semi-auto pistol, the downsides of having low damage and no extended mag make this weapon terrible.

Sniper Rifles

This class is also not too great at only an average of 343 DPS. The graze perk is a must have for anyone making a build with this class.

Highest DPS goes to the Thanatos .50 cal at 1406 DPS. This is the only sniper i would consider using, but the lower difficulty you go the worse the weapon becomes. This weapon should only be used on the higher difficulties when you want a bulldozer and captain winter solution.

Lowest DPS goes to the Lebensauger .308 which has only a 175 DPS. Its not the fact that this weapon has low damage that makes it bad, the Contractor .308 has the second highest DPS in this class and it has the same damage and firerate that this gun has, its the fact that this weapon makes all the heisters suffer from arthritis when using it. IT HAS A TACTICAL RELOAD OF 4.64s?!?!? WHY???

Primary Specials

Not a super important class, has an average DPS of 578.

Highest DPS goes to the Compound bow at 909 DPS. Like the Thanatos, i wouldnt recommend this weapon on low difficulties, but could be an interesting choice for a death sentence build if you like playing fetch to get your ammo back.

Lowest DPS is the light crossbow at 250 DPS. Remember when this gun was the meta for crit builds? Yeah, im glad thats over.

GL40 has a DPS of 255

Primary Shotguns and Akimbo Shotguns

DISCLAIMER: BEFORE YOU TYPE YOUR COMMENT BELOW ABOUT HOW IM DUMB AND HOW GREAT SHOTGUNS ARE JUST KNOW THAT THIS IS SINGLE TARGET DPS AND WITHOUT SHOTGUN SKILLS, THERES A REASON YOU NEVER SEE PEOPLE SUGGEST SHOTGUNS WITHOUT RUNNING THE SKILLS FOR THEM.

So now that you've read the above heres the DPS of these 2 classes combined. 156 DPS. Yep, the lowest of the primaries, now im not saying that you should never use shotguns, but you REALLY have to use up a lot of your skill points to make them work on the higher difficulties. I personally dont run them anymore, as i prefer to use the skill points for more general things like converts, fully loaded, or messiah especially when im not playing with coms.

The highest DPS shotgun in the game is the Akimbo Judge's at 420 (haha funni number) DPS. I feel kinda bad about this one personally because when i didnt have as many hours i said that they were overrated and werent as great as all the youtubers said they were.

Lowest DPS is the Reinfeld 880 with only 94 DPS. This is the lowest DPS primary you could equip. I dont think ive ever really seen anyone run this gun whos playing seriously. Honestly this gun is so pitiful it really should get a buff to its damage or something.

SMGs

Im not going to go into detail here because its pretty much the same as the Akimbo SMGs. Class Average is 540 DPS

Highest is the Krinkov at 950 DPS.

Lowest is the Patchett L2A1 with 259 DPS

Pistols

Things are different this time around compared to the akimbos. Class average is now at 305, i would not recommend running pistols with the 5/7 being an exception.

The 5/7 AP has the highest DPS pistol at 665 DPS. I love this gun, and i think this is the only pistol ive touched for more than just a couple heists. This pistol is so good i'd even consider it get a slight nerf to its RoF which is the highest in class if you dont count the auto pistols. The main reason i run it all the time is due to it having armor piercing rounds. This coupled with pistols innately fast switch speeds makes it a great gun for when there is a shield i need to take out quickly. The compact 40mm and the Arbiter have the fastest grenade launcher switch speed at .6 seconds, while the 5/7's is .35s. By the time you can switch to the compact 40 you can switch to the 5/7 and kill 2 shields, and if you spend 1 point on the Equilibrium skill you can kill 3 shields in that time. Do not take away from this that the launchers are useless, just that there are other options that are just as potent.

The lowest DPS pistol is the Peacemaker .45 with only 136 DPS. With as much fun as it is to put a cowboy hat on and play this in the background, you not getting much DPS out of it. What puts this gun behind the others is its low clip size for being a revolver and at the same time having an abysmally slow reload by having to reload each bullet one at at time. On top of that the RoF is very slow as well. Overall this gun very badly needs a buff, i bet a lot of people would run this gun if it was anywhere near the other pistols in DPS, if i personally were to buff the weapon i would just very slightly buff the reload speed and firerate, but only by a small amount.

Secondary Specials

DISCLAIMER: Im telling you now that the highest DPS weapon in the game is actually the Commando 101 at 2544 DPS, but i wouldnt run it without a very specialized build and very good teammates to rely on in higher difficulties since it doesnt get ammo back from drops. Because of this im not listing it or the HRL-7 below and not counting them in the average.

The average of the class is only 208 DPS.

Highest DPS goes to the China Puff 40mm at 416 DPS. what makes this gun have a higher DPS than the compact 40 or arbiter is because it is a really good middleman. its inbetween the Arbiter and the Compact 40 in all terms, and in this case that isnt a bad thing.

Lowest DPS is the Compact 40mm with only 289 DPS. I used to run this launcher quite a bit, but having to reload every time you pull the trigger has its downsides.

Secondary Shotguns

If you've skipped the Primary shotgun disclaimer please read that as it pertains to the secondary shotguns as well.

This class averages at only 137. Which is lower than the primary shotguns.

Highest DPS in class goes to the Judge again with only 302 DPS this time.

Lowest DPS isnt the Grimm 12g, which surprised me, as unmodded it IS the lowest DPS in the game, but when modded it is the second lowest. But when were talking with the guns fully modded, the lowest DPS gun in the entire game is the Street Sweeper with only 85 DPS. This gun suffers from something the Peacemaker did: that you have to reload each individual bullet individually, but in this case its shells were talking about. They just need to increase the reload speed for this gun to be competitive with the other shotguns.

Highest DPS for concealment Primaries

32-30 concealment
Cavity 9mm reaches the highest DPS for a weapon that can reach 32-30 concealment.

29 concealment
Akimbo Mark 10 has the highest DPS for a weapon that can reach 29 concealment.

28-25 concealment
Akimbo Tatonka reaches the highest DPS for a weapon that can reach 28-25 concealment.

24 & 23 concealment
Akimbo CR 805B reaches the highest DPS for a weapon that can reach 24 & 23 concealment.

22 concealment and under
Akimbo Krinkov reaches the highest DPS.

Fun fact - barrel exit will bust each bulet damage so you will get more bost from high-rpm weapons... so... LMG with biggest DPS is mg42 (Buzzsaw 42) with 1744 dps and no skills, yes, just because high rpm*attachment boost

I might add a section when i do some shotgun testing, right now im doing some testing with the akimbos and snipers with the graze skill. Akimbos might not be the way to go in some cases do to you wasting ammo if you overkill them too hard. For example if you have an akimbo that kills a basic enemy in one shot, you will always waste that second bullet. This is the opposite from shotguns and snipers that can easily get more than one kill per bullet.

To be fair, it's useless to include shotguns without factoring in their skills. No one will ever run them without skills.
