Yeah the fuel flow is a little weird but it does have a instant spike when you turn it on in the flight sim, Just make sure you have your mixture and throttle full.

When running the checklist, and doing the engine prime, I do notice that the Fuel flow gauge on the 172 does not seem to function as it does in the real aircraft. meaning when you activate the elec fuel pump and move mixture to rich, no fuel flow at all is indicated. its a bit weird,

The Start up looks to be the same, The fuel flow GPH is under the rpm gauge after you turn on the master switch. A noticeable difference is the transponder, its in the first g1000 under XPDR. Another useful feature is if you click the PFD then Wind OPTN 1 - 3 show you wind directions. Hopefully that helps, I'm not completely use to the g1000 version of the plane.

Fantastic detail! Even using the real check-list for a 172! Question though, would this be the same for a 172 G1000?
