I'm jumping! Using the momentum to get a boost.

I am at the last step before the top of the hub. Elevator is all the way up. If I send it down, and up, a blue cable shows behind me. But, you have to be in the middle of the platform to access the button. I am not understanding the mechanics here, even watching the video. Looks like you push the button and just step backwards. What am I missing? Thanks in advance .

PS - my maze time is down to about 55 seconds... looks like I need a bit more practice!

Got any hints for the Power Hub? I think I'm really close to 100%, but I'm stuck right before the top of this area.
