100% Achievements Guide

A guide on how to unlock every achievements in Spiritfarer.

Preface

This guide lists all the achievements in Spiritfarer and how to unlock them. The content inevitably contains spoilers about part of the game, so I recommend finishing the game once first.

Some achievements can be missed, so if you are afraid of that, you can consult the "Missable Achievements" section of the guide first and come back to the rest later.

You need two playthroughs to get all the achievements, as two achievements exclude one another. It is however possible to get both of them during one playthrough by force-quitting the game at the appropriate time. If you missed it, you may still try to load an autosave prior to the event if you have one.

Note that you can still play the game even after finishing it, so you can do most achievements at the end.

Missable Achievements

Happiness

	At least someone is happy	Make one spirit reach the ecstatic mood at least once
	The more, the merrier	Make 5 spirits reach the ecstatic mood at least once
	The happy dance	Make all spirits reach the ecstatic mood at least once

Simply enough, you need to make sure any spirit you send through the Everdoor has been at the max mood at least once.
It is simple for most spirits: Build their house, decorate it, hug them, feed them their favorite food and voila.

There is however one exception: Elena. She doesn't like to be hugged, hate her house and is generally going to be a pain to please.
The way I made her reach ecstatic mood was by doing the following:

1. Have Gustav on the ship with a maxed lodging. If you have already released Gustav, I honestly don't know how to do it.
   
2. Kick Bruce&Mickey through the Everdoor as they can lower Elena's mood.
   
3. Make sure Gustav is happy enough so that he'll play the fiddle during the evening.
   
4. Wait for a day where Elena doesn't have any negative status beside hungry.
   
5. Wait for her to visit Gustav's gallery (+2 mood) and hear him play the fiddle (+3 mood)
   
6. Feed her her favorite food and she will be the happiest doggo in the world (for, like, a good 5 minutes).

Tour Guide

More than 15%

Give Furogawa Tour's guide a tip

Talk to a spirit at Furogawa (in the main region) to start the tour guide event. Follow the spirit and listen to what it has to say. At the end, when asking if you would like to give a tip, say yes. It will cost you 15 Glims and you will get the achievement.

Not So Secret Excursions

	Loose Lips	Tell Astrid about Giovanni's night excursions
	Sealed Lips	Do not tell Astrid about Giovanni's night excursions

At a point of the game, you will have to make a choice between telling Astrid about Giovanni or not. Each choice nets you an achievement.

If you want to do it legitimately, you need to do two playthroughs to get both achievements.

Otherwise, you can save before talking to Astrid and then force quit the game (Alt+F4, Alt+Tab+Closing the windows, anything that closes the game without saving really). Once you launch it back, wait for Astrid to ask you again for the answer and choose the other option.

Another way is to look at the date of the achievement you got and load an autosave before this date. This allow you to get the achievement at any time. However, take care as autosaves do not seem to be kept forever (why or how they are removed is not clear to me), so you may not have one anymore if you are unlucky.
Your best bet is to do those achievements as soon as possible.

Story Achievements

5-Stars Hotels

	Fully Improved: Gwen	Fully improve Gwen's Lodge
	Fully Improved: Atul	Fully improve Atul's Workshop
	Fully Improved: Summer	Fully improve Summer's Sanctuary
	Fully Improved: Alice	Fully improve Alice's Cottage
	Fully Improved: Astrid	Fully improve Astrid's Bungalow
	Fully Improved: Stanley	Fully improve Stanley's Playroom
	Fully Improved: Gustav	Fully improve Gustav's Gallery
	Fully Improved: Bruce&Mickey	Fully improve Bruce&Mickey's Crib
	Fully Improved: Buck	Fully improve Buck's Lair of Wonders
	Fully Improved: Elena	Fully improve Elena's Cubicle

Self-explanatory. Improve the house of each spirit to the maximum using the "Improve" option of the workbench. If you built all the available improvements and you still do not have the achievement, continue doing the storyline of the concerned spirit. Sometimes they unlock new objects to add to their house along the way.

Note that improving Elena's lodging will reduce her mood. The debuff is however temporary and will go away after a few days, so it does not prevent you from making her reach ecstatic mood.

Goodbyes

	First encounter	Have your first conversation with Hades
	Second encounter	Have your second conversation with Hades
	Third encounter	Have your third conversation with Hades
	Spiritfared	Bring all releasable spirits to the Everdoor

Help your friends passing away by completing their storyline and then bringing them to the Everdoor. You will meet with Hades after the 1st, 4th and 8th spirit released. Note that you will have your last encounter with Hades before releasing everyone, but that does not prevent you from releasing the rest.

Do not forget to max your companions happiness before releasing them for the happiness-related achievements (Go back to the "Missable Achievements" section of this guide if you do not know what I am talking about).

Note that Buck cannot be brought to the Everdoor and that Atul will vanish by himself at the end of his storyline.

The End

Let it go

Accomplish your very last objective

Bring Stella to the Everdoor after your third encounter with Hades. Then cry. (Yes, pretty sure crying is mandatory).

Traveling Achievements

A Perfect Subscription

	Food Delivery	Sign up to Feedorama
	Unsubscribe	Unsubscribe from Feedorama

Those two are easy enough but take in-game time. Try to subscribe to Feedorama as soon as possible. If you do it at the end, you're in for a LOT of waiting around.

To subscribe to Feedorama, you will need the Kitchen Upgrade, the Mailbox and 5'000 Glims. Then go to Hummingberg (main area) and talk to the spirit at the top part of the city. It will propose you to subscribe to Feedorama for 5'000 Glims.

Once subscribed, you will receive a letter every few days containing recipes and ingredients. You will have to wait until you receive a total of 7 letters from Feedorama before being given the option to unsubscribe. Once you have received the seventh letter, you can go back to the same NPC at Hummingberg, who will ask you for 10'000 Glims as unsubscription fee (What is this, real life?).

So Many Monkeys

	Monkey 101	Complete one errand for Francis
	Twelve Monkeys	Complete twelve errands for Francis
	Monkey Business	Complete thirty errands for Francis

Francis is the weird plant-guy that you will sometimes run into while travelling. After some point in the story, he will ask you to run errands for him (the last choice is his dialogue options).
Most of his errands refreshes daily, so just pick a few to your liking and farm them until you've done 30 of them. An easy one is to deliver 8 Apples, 8 Pears and 8 Cherries once you have them in an orchard.

Money Comes, Money Goes

	Big Spender	Buy at least 100 items from Raccoon Inc
	Taking Out The Trash	Sell at least 200 items

Self-explanatory. Note that you can sell the items to both the raccoons and Francis.

Sheep Lover

	Sheep Ranger	Find and shelter all sheeps
	Sheep Cleaner	Shear sheeps at least 50 times

Collect sheeps and shear them. There are five sheeps in total, they can be found on the following islands:

• Hummingberg (Main Area: 39x 139y)
  
• Gurenu Fields (Main Area: -65x 55y)
  
• Mount Toroyama (Main Area: -99x 34y)
  
• Nordweiler (Ice Area: -3x 185y)
  
• Sandwich Walk (Rock Area: 141x -54y)

To obtain a sheep, simply feed him after Alice teached you how.

You don't need to build pens to get the Sheep Ranger achievement, but I don't recommend having sheeps running unsupervised on your boat. I read on the forum that sheeps can eat Stanley while he is growing. Just sayin'.

Note that a sheep only regrow wool if he isn't starving. (And that free-roaming starving sheeps will eat your crops).

Chit-Chat Pro

Dad Mode

Endure 10 of Albert's Jokes

Albert is the shark spirit in charge of upgrading your boat. Every time you visit him, he will tell you a joke in relation to one of your boat's buildings if you choose the "Talk" option. He will not tell you more than one joke each visit, so you will have to leave and come back 10 times.

Public Transportation

Use Alex's bus stops 50 times

Self-explanatory. You will normally get this one while doing other achievements.

Dating Coach

Give a dating advice

Go talk to one of the spirit in front of the park at Ambertown Park (Rock Region). She will tell you about her dating troubles. Talk to her multiple times until you exhaust her options. She will ask you a question but the answer doesn't matter to obtain the achievement. (I chose 'no' if you are curious).
Then leave, come back and she should tell you about the result of her date. Confirm the next question and get your achievement.

Completion Achievements

Light Up The World

Everything is Illuminated

Light up all Lighthouses

You will get this one naturally while doing Buck's storyline. You can find the Lighthouses on the following islands:

• Hikarishima Lighthouse (Main Area: -137x -14y)
  
• Nordsee Pier (Ice Area: -116x 165y)
  
• Sandwich Walk (Rock Area: 141x -54y)

Majestic Sailing

Bow-Tastic

Collect all figureheads

Self-explanatory. Buy all the figureheads from Albert. If you don't know where to find XP potions for the last upgrade, progress Buck's storyline. Then the event can be started from his lodging.

Full Boat

Decked out

Build all houses and stations at least once on the boat

Self-explanatory, but the description is not exactly accurate. At some point in the story, Stanley will convert your Guest House into his Playroom. To get the achievement, you will need to construct another Guest House.

Upgrading buildings is not necessary.

Shrines Obsession

The Acrobat

Activate all the shrines

Self-explanatory. There are 7 shrines in total and each one asks for 1-2 Obols. You will get to the first 6 shrines while completing other characters storyline.

Once you have all six, Francis will ask you to run a new errand for him. The reward is the map to the last shrine. (You need to bring him 2 Diamonds, 5 Electrum Sheets and 20 Eggs).

Cooking Pro

Master Chef

Discover all recipes

Note that while finding a dish in a chest is enough to unlock it in your museum's collection, it does not unlock it in your recipe book. You need to either find the recipe or cook the dish for it to be unlocked.

Master Completionist

Collector

Complete all collections

Self-explanatory. The collections can be seen after getting the double jump and having access to the Ice Area, at Susan's Museum (Ice Area: -150x 150y).

Note that while just knowing a recipe is enough for the Master Chief achievement, it is not the case for the museum. You need to cook the dish or have it in your possession at least once for the slot to unlock.

About Astrid's achievements, quit the game is not working anymore. But don't worry, just go to the Main Menu > Start > press F9 to open the autosave list > Pick which date that you saved before talk to Astrid
