Samurai of Hyuga Book 3 Detective Guide

Simple guide to help with the deduction and observation scenes in Samurai of Hyuga Book 3.

Overview

If the 'Text Input Mode' is activated at the start of the book, the player will have four scenes throughout the story in which they can play detective and attempt to deduce the significant entities in a given context. This guide will explain all recognised text entry options along with the related achievements.

Note that the casing of your text - lowercase or UPPERCASE - doesn't matter at all. The ingame code will convert all text to uppercase lettering before matching your text against the list of recognised strings.

Chapter I: The Detective Duo

In the first chapter we have a major detective scene. There are five different observations to be made along with five corresponding deductions. Additionally some extra options are available which will be covered at the end.

0. Help

Entering any of the following words will result in Tosh giving advice to the player, in addition to the Some Assistance Required achievement being unlocked:
