INSPIRATION
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Earlier when I was searching the workshop for mods that added Daedric Artifacts from previous games, I came across an artifact called Fearstruck. I didn't exactly have much to work with. All I could find out is that it was some type of shield. A book called the Story of Lyrisius, which appeared in TESII: Daggerfall, says that it was destroyed by a dragon, but Fearstruck's Wiki page suggests that it was instead entombed with one of Boethiah's previous champions. And since I could only find one other mod that adds Fearstruck, I decided to make my own.

THE GOAL
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
What this mod does is add a locked door in Orotheim that leads to the tomb where Fearstruck lies. You're going to have to wrestle it out of the hands of its previous owner, and he's a force to be reckoned with. I don't want you to fight this guy at a low level, so I've locked the door and given the key to Boethiah's Champion. That way you'll have to be at least level 30 and have done Boethiah's quest to get in the tomb, and you should be tough enough to beat the boss.

FEARSTRUCK AND OTHER ITEMS
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fearstruck's enchantment greatly boosts your magic resistance and doubles the rate at which you regenerate health. In addition shield bashing with it while wearing the Ebony Mail causes enemies to flee in terror, hence the name. Overpowered? Maybe, but consider what you'll have to go through to get it. If you survive, you'll have earned it. There should also be a copy of the Story of Lyrisius on a table in Orotheim for you to read, and I've edited the Bandit Leader's journal to give the bandits better cause to be hiding in a place like that.

ISSUES
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I've already mentioned there's one other mod that adds Fearstruck, so this mod may conflict with that. Besides that, I'm a little new at programming boss fights, so let me know if you have any issues related to the boss. But if you've already beaten Boethiah's Champion long before downloading this mod, typing in "help orotheim" into the console should give you the code for the key. Let me know if you run into any other issues.

EDIT LOG
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2/19/05
--Toned down Fearstruck's base armor rating. Seemed like a bit much.
--Edited the Ancient Champion so he should be less of a challenge.
--The Story of Lyrisius now teaches the Speech skill.
3/10/05
--Added the shield bash effect that causes enemies to run for their lives.

It should be somewhere west of the mountain range northwest of Whiterun. Look for a giant's camp in that area, then head north.
