How NOT to ruin your 100% (OUTDATED)

EDIT: This was already patched. Im keeping it just for Blaphemous archeology purpouses. Thank you guys.

If you want your 100% you need to save Gemino before he turns into wood. If you don't, you wont be able to access an specific part of the map NO MATTER WHAT. (Also, new location of Dried Flowers Bathed in Tears in screnshots)

Follow this steps:

0. After entering "where the olive trees witter" Speak to Gemino and take the cup that he gives you.
1. Go kill lady of the charred visage as your first boss.
2. Fill the cup with the hot oil after killing her.
3. Go inmediately to speak to Gemino again.
4. Leave and re enter that place and pick up the Dried Flowers Bathed in Tears

The flowers are right next to Gemino, but they dont shine like the other items, so press E to pick em.

By doing this he wont turn himself into wood, so he will be able to walk to the tomb of his beloved one, joining the other 3 olive tree people in that room. Then enter the room, give the flowers in the tomb and this should open, allowing you to enter the tomb and going below to another room.

If you dont do this, you still will be able to acces the room below later in the game, after getting Golden Thread relic BUT YOU WONT BE ABLE TO REVEAL THAT TINY SQUARE IN THE MAP, so you wont get 100% of the game, you still will get the achievement for 100%, but the map will show only 99%.

This happened to me so I will do it right on my next run.

WARNING: If you want the achievement "Mediterranean diet", before killing any big boss in the game you MUST bring the items required to the Wound Kissers quest in Albero. Bringing one of those will allow you to kill one boss without any of the sick people dying. To do so, don't go to "Where the olive trees witter" yet. Instead go head to the "Ten piedad" location, but dont fight him. Instead look for the teleporter, teleport to Albero. Next to the teleporter in Albero you should find the "Bouquete of Thyme". Bring it to the wound kissers and then go to speak to Gemino and start his quest.

Dried Flowers Bathed in Tears

This is where to get the flowers. After picking it, go to the left room to find where the tomb is hidden.

Bloody square

This little point you see here can only be accesed by jumping into the tomb in the upper room, and then falling to the bottom. If Gemino turns into wood you wont be able to open the tomb, and therefore you wont fall here.

I took this screenshot after finishing the game and getting the 100% achievement.

This is what happens if you dont discover that little square in the map. Dont commit the same mistake as I.

I can also confirm they patched it, I got 100% map completion in my first run and Gemino died.
When you enter the tomb from below, it checks both the lower and middle room of the tomb on the map. Then if you enter the the tomb from above you have all the tomb section.

They patched it, yeah. He drops the flowers now as soon as you give him the oil no matter if you cleared or failed it (when you fail it says you pour it and nothing happens). At worst I think you just need to exit and come back and it's there, just like how they patched Virdiana giving you her prayer even if you use her help 3 times causing her to die. You just leave the boss room and come back and on top of her body will be the prayer.

Till i know grave only opens when you use the dried flowers, and the only way to get them is to save gemino. This was my first run, pre dlc so i dont know if they patched it.

You can get all of the areas of Gemino's quest even if he dies. He died in my first run and I still got everything 100% in that run. I'm in the middle of NG+ where I did save him so I'll need like a day or two while I finish the amanecidas and re-ascend. But I got there, I think the cave opens post oil scene. (Maybe you have to hit the wall to break it if he died in that playthrough).

I see what you mean, I let gemino turn into wood but somehow still got this square unlocked.

Lo haré, este run nuevo que haga puedo hacer un video sobre ello. Pero a grandes rasgos es, si no haces la misión de gémino no puedes saltar dentro de la tumba y si no saltas dentro de la tumba, ese pedazo queda sin revelar.

¿Cómo se arruina la misión de gémino? Entrando a donde los olivos se marchitan, hablando con él y no ir directamente a acabar con la señora de la faz denegrecida.

@Sachimi lo ideal sería un video corto donde se explique como revelar ese punto en el mapa. Según parece es lo único que puede impedirte completar el 100%
