How to upgrade the version of LAME (Tutorial)

As you may or may not know, this DAW uses pretty old version of LAME (MP3 Encoder), looking at tags of saved MP3 files shows that LAME version that this DAW uses is 3.89 beta, which is the version that was released even before 2010 (considering that LAME 3.98.4 was released in 2010).

To solve this injustice we need to replace the "lame_enc.dll" file in the Mixcraft's directory.

here's the link to lame_enc.dll with LAME 3.100 (latest LAME version).

replace it with the one in the link and viola! now you can enjoy using this program, but with the ability to save mp3 with better quality! (upgrading it consist of, but not limited to improved sound quality).

Unfortunately, this DAW can't save MP3 in any frequency except for 44.1 kHz for some reason, and replacing lame_enc.dll won't fix that. (if it's even possible to)
