Intro
In order to complete the game and unlock certain achievements, you must sit through and watch most of the in-game advertisements. You can't simply skip the videos as soon as they start.

What you can do is replace the trailers with short clips, as long as they're named the same.

In this guide, I'll show you how to do that, even if you don't already have a short MP4 at hand.

Note: This is confirmed to be working on the latest version of the game (Patch 1.01 installed).
How to create a short video clip in the correct format
If you already have a short video (3s or less) in the MP4 format, you can skip this step entirely.

  1. Open the Video Editor app (on Windows 10, click on the "Windows" key and type "video" - the first result should be the app);

  2. Click on "New video project" and name your video whatever you want (I went with "Devolver");

  3. At the bottom right part of the screen, click on "Add title card";

  4. A 3-second title card should be automatically added. You can change the text or duration of it as you please, but the default 3s is fine;

  5. At the top right part of the screen, click on "Finish video";

  6. Select "Low" as the video quality, since it doesn't really matter and smaller files are more easily manageable;

  7. Save your MP4 file somewhere you can find it later.
How to replace the actual in-game trailers with your new short video clip
  1. Create 6 extra copies of the MP4 you'll use to replace the trailers, by copy and pasting it in the same location 6 times;

  2. Rename each of the 7 files to the following:

    Blightbound-DevWalkthrough.mp4 Carrion-ReleaseDateTrailer.mp4 FallGuys-ReleaseDateTrailer.mp4 Olija-Walkthrough.mp4 SeriousSam4-GameplayTrailer.mp4 ShadowWarrior3-GameplayTrailer.mp4 WeirdWest-Walkthrough.mp4

  3. Select all files, copy and paste them to the game's "Final" folder (on Windows 10, the default location is "C:\Program Files\Steam (x86)\SteamApps\Common\Devolverland_Expo\Devolverland_Expo\Content\Movies\Trailer\Final\");

  4. When the "Replace or Skip Files" prompt window shows up, select "Replace the files in the destination";

  5. Start the game. All corresponding screens should be showing the video with the title card you created, on an infinite loop. Watch all trailers by pressing "Use" near the screens and, as soon as they're over (after 3 seconds), you should automatically regain control of your character and the appropriate achievement should unlock.
But wait, there's more!
While you're here, there are a couple of other things that you can do to improve your experience.
How to skip intro videos
  1. Go to the game's "Movies" folder (on Windows 10, the default location is "C:\Program Files\Steam (x86)\SteamApps\Common\Devolverland_Expo\Devolverland_Expo\Content\Movies\");

  2. Remove or rename the following files:

    Devolver_Startup_Logo_1080p_30.mp4 Fmod_Startup_Logo_1080p_30.mp4 FWH_Startup_Logo_1080p_30.mp4 UE4_Startup_Logo_1080p_30.mp4
How to reduce the game's install size even further
  1. Go to the game's "Trailers" folder (on Windows 10, the default location is "C:\Program Files\Steam (x86)\SteamApps\Common\Devolverland_Expo\Devolverland_Expo\Content\Movies\Trailers\");

  2. Replace the following MP4 files with the one you created (or any other short MP4 video):

    Nvidia.mp4 WeirdWestSong.mp4

  3. Go to the game's "Final" folder. On Windows 10, the default location is "C:\Program Files\Steam (x86)\SteamApps\Common\Devolverland_Expo\Devolverland_Expo\Content\Movies\Trailers\Final\";

  4. Replace the following MP4 files with the one you created (or any other short MP4 video):

    DevolverlandExpoCredits.mp4 DiscRoom-GameplayTrailer.mp4
Conclusion
That's all, folks!

I hope you find this guide helpful. It's the first one I've ever written. :)
