PayDay 2 144hz Fix

If you have a 144hz monitor, but the refreshrate is capped to 60hz even though V-Sync is enabled, this guide is for you!

Fix

Press Windows + R and a window will pop up in the bottom left corner. Type in %appdata% and a window will open up. Navigate one directory back to AppData. From there press Local -> Payday 2

Then you wanna open the renderer_settings.xml file with notepad and scroll down.
There you will see

refresh_rate = "144"

<variable name="shadow_quality_default" value="very high"/>
</render_settings>
</renderer_config>

You want to change the refresh_rate value to the value you want (144/240). Save the document and you are good to go!
