The acmk1b-Viceroy is the twelfth item in my OBV development series. The Viceroy is a Lancer class vehicle intended for high velocity air combat. The Viceroy features two newly refined Omnidirectional Buoyancy Cores. The new core model allows the Viceroy to outmaneuver even the most agile of crafts performing aerobatic maneuvers that are beyond the abilities of any other air vehicle to date. With the help of its power 15 cannon, the Viceroy establishes itself as a menacing presence on any battlefield.
OBV technology gives the Viceroy a level of maneuverability that is truly unmatched in the modern competitive environment. Unlike most air vehicles, the Viceroy cannot stall. It can fly forward, backwards, even sideways. Its intuitive, two-handed control scheme allows the Viceroy to turn on four different axis’s and propel itself in six different directions.

Controls:
W, A, S, D = move
E, Q = lateral thrusters (fly sideways)
Arrow Keys = pitch control
Shift & Ctrl = master up and down
F, T = Cameras (use them!)
X = Air Brakes
C = cannon(s)
Right Shift = Cannon Boost

Development notes:
So the Viceroy is really quite pleasant to fly. Why? Because its got a brand new core! For the first time in months, I had a breakthrough in core design. Rather than using spin blocks and braces, I chose to use ball joints. This allows the cores to provide full, multi-axis rotation with a fraction of the blocks (not to mention, they are also much stronger). I also added counter weights—negative balloons—to the centers of each core. This ensures that the cores are always facing straight up and down and maximizes the efficiency of their thrusters. These new monsters are sleek, simple and efficient. Win!
Now all of this might not mean much to you but, for someone who flys these things every day, these advancements are quite noticeable. The new cores can lift more weight. They allow the vehicle to go up and down far faster. They are more stable at, well, any velocity. They eliminate the angular drift that used to plague these things in aerial races. They can safely travel far faster than previous models.
