How to login to EA with Battlefield: Bad Company 2

How to login to EA for playing online services

I can't login EA says email/password is wrong

After a couple of years i decided to replay Battlefield Bad Company again.

When i tried going online playing Multiplayer EA. Nothing unusual. So i typed my ORIGIN login data into it (Bad Company 2 is an EA game) and the game told me always

Your email password is wrong.

Nothing is wrong with me, something is wrong at EA side.

Here is the solution.

1. Know your Battlefield: Bad Company 2 CD-Codes

First of all you need your Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and your Battlefield: Bad Company Vietnam key )if you own the DLC)

You can find them at your library

Battlefield Bad Company 2 (right click) -> Manage -> View Product Keys

Copy them.

2. Visit Origin

You can't play/login to Battlefield: Bad Company 2 because your CD-Codes are unknown to EA. Even if you have registered them earlier.

Bad Company was published before Orgin was born. It seems EA have forgotten earlier registrations

Login to your Origin (http://www.origin.com) com account. If you dont have one you must create a new one. This is mandatory.

After logging in at Orgin look for add a game at your libray. EA asks for a CD-Code.

Paste your CD-Code taken from Steam here.

Now the Magic begins.

EA will add Battlefield Bad Company 2 (and the DLC if applicable) to your EA game libary.

After adding nothing to do anymore. No download(s) required.

Close Origin.

3. Play

Switch back to your Battlefield: Bad Company 2 at Steam.

Start the game and then you can login with your Origin password into Multiplayer successfully.

Play & have fun.

Last Notes

If you have somewhat lost or forgot your CD no one except the EA support can help you.

Same for the email. If you have forgotten your email only the EA suppurt might be able to help you.

I have no idea why EA was unable to migrate pre-Origin registered cd-keys/registrations.

Bruh I cant even change my password to my EA account cause the Email link they gave me dosent fucking work so I cant play the game until they fix it or something EA is so broken.
