Is that right? I just want to make sure we're on the same page.
If you combined into a 67, you can find a path that adds up to 33 rather than 87 and trying to look for a 13.
So the 67 is at the bottom left, you might see an 11 next to the 67. If it were 87 you would need to find a 2 to fill in the last possible 100 or keep trying to find an exact 13 somewhere.
Whereas you can have the 67, see the 11 next to a 7 and 15, which would equal 33, totaling 100.
TL;DR, focus on combining big numbers instead of small numbers.
Of course its all up to RNG but its better to rely on numbers when your tiles are on 60 than 80. You are able to branch out paths at a larger scale.
