List of Sims 4 Deaths
76561198051046610 님이 작성
This guide lists all currently known deaths throughout The Sims 4 and it's expansion packs, as listed on the Sims Wiki on Fandom.
The bold text is the death's name, just in case you are confused.

The source used for this list is the deaths page[sims.fandom.com] on the Sims wiki. I have decided to write some of the death descriptions a bit differently to avoid making this look like a clone of the source.

Base Game
Starvation If a teen or older Sim's hunger need drops to zero, they will die of starvation. Vampires (Vampires), skeletons (Jungle Adventure), and Servos (Discover University) are immune to this death due to not having a hunger need. Children and younger will be taken away instead. Pregnant Sims and ghosts will have their hunger replenished instead. Werewolves (Werewolves) may be immune to this too if they attain immortality at the Apex rank. For some reason.
Fire If a Sim catches on fire, they have a limited amount of time to be extinguished before dying. Skeletons (Jungle Adventure) and Immortal Wolves (Do you find this strange?) are immune to this death, but can still catch on fire.
Old Age Once a Sim reaches the end of the elder life stage, they will die of old age. Vampires, Servos, and Immortal Wolves can't die of this, as vampires don't age past the Young Adult stage all thanks to mythology-friendly immortality, while Servos, as artificial lifeforms, do not age. Disabling auto aging can also counter this.
Mood Deaths The Sims 4 is the first game in which certain moods can result in death. If a Sim is enraged, mortified, or hysterical for too long, death is a risk. Vampires and Servos are immune to each of these deaths, Sims with the Shameless reward trait are immune to death by embarrassment, and werewolves will instead go on a rampage rather than die if enraged.
Electrocution When a Sim tries to fix an electronic object with the Seriously Fried moodlet, they will get shocked to death.
Overexertion If an elder Sim tries to WooHoo or work out while dangerously tired, they will die. A Sim who contributes too much knowledge at the Research Archive Machine (Discover University) too many times can also die this way. Vampires and our Servo friends are immune to this death.
Cowplant If a Cowplant is not fed for a period of time, it will pull out a slice of cake to lure Sims in. If a Sim tries to grab the cake, they will be eaten by the Cowplant and will be spat out, receiving a negative moodlet. If the Sim tries to grab the cake again with the moodlet, they will be murderously devoured to their demise. Servos (Discover University) who will die this way will be culled from the game, and the Grim Reaper will not come for them.
Drowning If a Sim swims with low energy or jumps into a pond full of hungry fish (Get Famous), they will drown. This risk is also present when swimming in the ocean (Island Living). Vampires, skeletons (Jungle Adventure), Sims with the Child of the Ocean trait (Island Living) or the Master of the Sea reward from the Marine Biologist career (Also Island Living), and mermaids (Again, Island Living) cannot die this way, as vampires have a different energy need, and mermaids are sea creatures. Our Immortal Wolf cousins too can strangely survive this.
Meteor While using the telescope that was just added before the Werewolves game pack was released, a Sim can sometimes get frightened. If they do not run inside, a meteor will murder them. Unlike Ambitions, running far, far away will not save them from death as if the meteor was a guided missile.
Game and Stuff Packs
Steam (Spa Day) If a Sim gets too hot in a sauna, they will die from overheating. Vampires are strangely immune to this death.
Sunlight (Vampires) Most vampire Sims can be endangered when exposed to sunlight, which can reduce them to ashes if they are outside too long during the day, and the time they can spend out there before 'dying' is based on their weaknesses or sun resistance. Those freaking daywalkers with Perfect Sun Resistance can stay outdoors during the day completely safe as if they were living. Their ghosts will keep their powers... oh, and weaknesses.
Poison (Jungle Adventure) If a Sim gets poisoned in Selvadorada, they will die if they do not find the antidote. Servos are obviously immune to poison.
Rabid Rodent Fever (My First Pet Stuff) The infamous My First Pet Stuff is the first stuff pack in the franchise to add a new death. Sims with a low relationship with a pet rodent in a dirty cage can get bitten by them, causing them to get diseased. Similar to the previously mentioned death, they will die if not treated. Servos and Sims in the doctor career (Get to Work) with the sickness resistance reward trait are immune to this, the former because they are not biological and can't catch illnesses.
Rodent Deaths (My First Pet Stuff) Like a normal Sim, a rodent can die of starvation or old age in a similar manner.
Mother Plant Attack (StrangerVille) At the end of the StrangerVille story, biological Sims (Yes, Servos are exempt) who fail at fighting against the Mother Plant can be devoured and killed by her. On the upside, the needs of their ghosts won't decay.
Magic Overload (Realm of Magic) If a Spellcaster overloads their magic charge, their magic will murderously explode. The Magical Resonance perk will make them immune to this death. Just like their vampire cousins who succumbed to the sun, they get to keep their abilities in the afterlife.
Potion of Immortality (Also Realm of Magic)* If you believed the hard-to-brew Potion of Immortality always works, it does have one downside. They may instead be turned into a ghost and this may not be undone. Sorry, Ambrosia.
Murphy Bed (Tiny Living Stuff) If the murphy bed fails to open, Sims can be crushed to death. The chance of dying increases if the bed is broken. The Reinforced Spring Wiring upgrade will prevent the bed from causing Sims to die. Heck, not even a Servo is immune.

*Only temporary.
Expansion Packs
Pufferfish (City Living) If a Sim eats a Pufferfish Nigiri, there's a mood and quality determined chance for them to be poisoned and choke to death. Vampires and Servos (Discover University) are immune to this death due to the lack of a hunger need, and Mermaids (Island Living) are also immune to this death. Excellent quality Pufferfish is not dangerous to eat.
Pet Death by Old Age (Cats & Dogs) Like Sims, pets are able to die of old age when reaching the end of their elder life stage. Again, you can counter this by changing the settings.
Temperature Deaths (Seasons) Seasons is the first Sims 4 expansion pack to add multiple deaths, and the first in the franchise to add four. Two of them are temperature deaths. If a Sim gets too hot or too cold, they can heat or freeze up and die. Vampires cannot "die" either way.
Lightning (Seasons) If a Sim gets struck by lightning too many times, they can die. The Storm Chaser reward trait grants immunity to this death.
Flower Arrangement (Seasons) If an elder is given a flower arrangement scented with a death flower (which ages up who it's given to), they will die. Vampires cannot "die" this way, since they do not age past young adulthood as mentioned before (Why do the undead resist so many deaths anyways?).
Catastrophic Meltdown (Discover University) Servos can die from having too low of a durability need and not getting tuned up after a while. This results in a meltdown where the Servo uncontrollably spins around and short circuits until it turns into a pile of scrap metal. They do not have ghosts, and this may not be undone.
Beetles (Eco Lifestyle) If a Sim drinks beetle juice three times in succession, they will die, and the Grim Reaper will not come for them. Servos (Discover University) cannot be destroyed this way, as they do not drink.
Flies (Eco Lifestyle) If a Sim interacts with objects swarmed by flies and disturbs them too much, the said flies can swarm and eat the said Sim. Servos can't be bitten by the flies, as they are not composed of human flesh.
Vending Machine (Snowy Escape) If a Sim tampers with a vending machine and fails after having done so already, they will be brutally crushed to their demise. Unfortunately, this can destroy a Servo.
Falling (Snowy Escape) Should a Sim fall while rock climbing, they may lose their lives. Servos may survive such a fall.
Killer Animals (Cottage Living) Sims with a low relationship with a chicken or rabbit a la Caerbannog can get killed if they're attacked by one twice in a short time period. Servos can't die this way.
Stink Capsule (High School Years) Planting a stink capsule on the school lockers may lead to a Sim suffocating from the smoke. We do not know if Servos are immune to this, since they don't have nostrils.
Urban Myth (High School Years) Should a Sim fail to summon an urban myth, they may get scared the crud to death.
Hidden Deaths
Turning into a Bone Pile (Jungle Adventure) This death is present only for skeleton NPCs, and they will be culled from the game.
Night Wraith (Realm of Magic) This death is present only for Sims with the Night Wraith trait (Spellcasters who have died of magic overcharge, NOT the Night Wraith NPC). This trait cannot be given to Sims through cheats or mods.

Since stabbing and shooting neighbors would require a mod, I have no idea. I do not know if a spellcaster's Inferniate spell can kill a Sim as of the time I have posted this comment.

Hey! Quick Question (kinda long lol), Do you know how your sim can kill other sims? Like stab or shoot neighbours or something? I looked on a video and i copied the traits but on two games ive used it on there has been zero murders. If not, I understand lol

The deaths have been updated to be consistent with the release of the Werewolves game pack, those who are subscribed to this thread.

I appear to be one of the few here to ensure my Sims DON'T die.
