S-Rank score requirement and time bonus guide

This guide lists the score requirements and time bonus "par" for each stage in the game. For version v04-s/r10977 and previous.

Introduction

In this game, each stage has a two goals: the score goal needed to reach S rank, and the time goal under which you'll get a time bonus.
This guide will show what scores are needed on each stage to get S rank on each difficulty, as well as what time you need to achieve in each stage to get a time bonus.

S-rank requirements change depending on difficulty. This is how each difficulty multiplies its S rank requirement:

• Easy: x0.8
  
• Normal: x1
  
• Hard: x1
  
• Hardest: x1.3
  
• Mania: x1.4

For the time bonus, you gain 13.2 points per second (or 0.22 points per frame) under each stage's goal time. For instance, the goal time for stage 1 is 13 minutes. Clearing it in 12 minutes will grant you a time bonus of 792 points.

I just wanted to mention that if anyone else feels like this is a bridge to far... Environmental hazards\items count as a hit\help chain combos (swinging wrecking balls, hitting a chest for item, exploding barrels, picking up a health item). All these are means to draw out combos. You can approach the beginning of each stage as your linchpin. Try to get a 30-60 hit combo in at the start and then continue from that point. I absolutely preferred SOR3 Skate (with his alt blitz move of a roll) and picking the plane and spacing to roll back and forth through enemies to build my combos (along with the heavy flail attack to amp the combo number higher on occasion).

For the Maniac Achievement do you have to do it in one go, as in S-Rank in every level in story?
Or can you do them one by one in stage select?

Cyan, for Arcade I imagine you just total them. 304k for Normal & Hard should do it. Just get a running start with a Perfect or Out of this World in Stage 1, then keep up a half-decent performance and you should get enough combo bonuses to get it.

what about arcade mode? I have S on all stages, boss rush and arcade Easy, with A on Normal and Hard. I'm not sure what I need if I wanna try these gauntlets

Jesus on stage 12 as of right now I got 42k on sor1 characters....i need another 3k more rip.
