"Blue Revolver is the hardest shmup that I have played so far.

The scoring system in this game is fairly unique, as you want to build up an 8 chain combo and then use your special weapon/bombs to multiply the amount of points that you earn.

However your special weapon and bombs have limited uses so it is required at times to die on purpose when going for a high score, since you get 2 bombs and some special meter on death.
Because of this dying isn't too punishing in this game, as long as you don't die while having 4/5 bombs.

I am very happy with this run, despite some of the mistakes on stage 5.
