How to Rush Through Helgen's Intro Scene

Pictures speak more than a thousand words. Helgen (especially the intro outside the keep) is awesome the first time you do it, cool the second, interesting the third and totally boring afterwards. So you want to spend as little time as possible there.

I have used both Random Alternate Start and Live Another Life, but currently I prefer to do things following vanilla, since it seems much more fitting for low-level characters. The main quest seems to be designed to carry you through the early development. Riverwood and Whiterun are softer areas than say, Morthal. AS or LAL will sometimes place you right in the teeth of something almost unsurmountable for a level 1 character, be it enemies, be it dungeons, be it quests. It can be fun and challenging but it sometimes leaves you stumped.

there are even alternate start mods on steam that don't require dawnguard and dragonborn, i think it was called the random alternate start mod.
