Just a heads up that Steam now allows you to configure workshop mod order. Instructions are now linked in the description.

Unfortunately the only way to do that is to unsubscribe and resubscribe, and hope it gets reset to the end of the list. You can try restarting Steam in between unsubbing and resubbing if it's being stubborn. It should work within a few tries, but as a last resort you could just use the standalone version instead.

All the pickups are replaced with Q2 stuff. Did you use the Workshop Items tab of the editor? Subscribing to a mod doesn't enable it automatically.
