Use crowbar to extract the model you want and you will see SMD files for the model open that up in like a text editor find the text that matches with the reticle change to the new texture name then save and recompile with the .QC file in crowbar. Keep the VMT file in the same place as the original unless you changed the path in the .QC file

I'll try to explain. In the base game, the scopes that each faction uses (like the 3 scopes that the Wehrmacht uses on their guns) those scopes all use one reticle image collectively, same for America and the Commonwealth. But with your mod, you changed the 7x Commonwealth scope (A5 scope) to use a different reticle all together, so that only the A5 scope would use a separate reticle. I was just wondering exactly how you did this, or if you could point me in the right direction so I could figure it out myself. Hopefully I explained better.

Hi there! I had a quick question, just about how you made the custom scope reticle actually appear on the scope. I have been trying to "reverse engineer" your mod and figure out how you did it myself, but I'm stuck and I can't figure out how you made the reticle appear on the scope. I want to make my own mod for where I have custom reticles on each scope, and I have the custom reticles made I just need to figure out how to actually make them appear on the separate scopes themselves. If you could give me some advice on either how you did it or where I could go that might help me out, that would be awesome! This mod is sick by the way :)
