Campaign Pilot Helmet Locations

Showcase and give pictures for locations of the Pilot Helmet collectibles found throughout the Single Player Campaign.

Quick note: Steam has a bug in which sometimes pictures are just not visible. Typically the only fix is to re-upload the pictures (After renaming them) this is annoying for me as it is for you. Every section should have pictures, if it doesn't, let me know in a comment.

Tips and Info

I was playing through the campaign and had trouble finding some of the helmets, so I decided to restart the campaign and make this guide as I didn't see any other guides for it on steam. All screenshots and pictures taken are my own.
Please feel free to give me suggestions and help me make the guide better.

Hitting the start over button on the main menu under campaign will reset completed levels and collected helmets. be careful with that button unless you want to start everything all over.

Helmets collected will stay collected even through death, if you have to die to get a helmet you will not have to get it again.

Below I will set each level into their own section, each section will be marked as "Level Name (#)" Where # is the number of helmets found in the level.

Each helmet has an indepth description on how to find the helmet and how to get it, if you cant figure out a helmet from the picture make sure to read the text above the picture on where and how to find it, I will usually explain things like "Once you get the Northstar loadout, turn around and look at the eye burning sun to see your 69th helmet."

The Pilots Gauntlet (1)

Right at the end of the Gauntlet, just before you cross the finish line.
This is the only helmet found on this level.
It can be hard to see because of the glare so I have drawn a red line to it.

BT-7274 (2)

One

First helmet of this level is really hard to miss. but here is a screenshot anyways.
Once you wall run across some of the yellow/golden walls you come across a drop pod with the helmet right next to it.

Two

Second and last helmet is obtained right after you collect the second Titan battery, you will fall down a small tunnel and slide down some dirt, without moving you will be able to see the helmet on a platform, just wall jump over and grab the last helmet of the level.

Blood and Rust (6)

This level has quite a few helmets, some are hard to find.

One

The first helmet will be right after your first fight where you help some friendly titans kill some enemy titans. once you defeat the enemy titans move forward into the tunnels where you collect the Tone Weapon Loadout. (Left red circle) take a few steps into the tunnel (About 6) and look left and down, there you will see the helmet sitting behind a grate, (Right red circle) you have to jump on top of the pipe overhead (Red arrow) to collect the helmet.

Two

The second helmet is found in the next big room where you will fight another enemy titan or two.
After you are tasked with opening some flood gates you will have to exit your titan and go up some stairs to the right of entering the room. on that platform just up the stairs are two big water tanks, on the top of the second tank you will find the second helmet of the level.
I accidentally collected this one before taking a screenshot of its location so I have circled its location in red.
Note, if you have walked into some vents or into a locker room you have gone too far for the second helmet. the Control room is on the left in the screenshot below.

Three

The third helmet will be found after you take out a bunch of snipers and right when you encounter some friendly units. on the left side just before jumping off the pipes to the same platform as the friendlies you will see a walkway with the helmet on top. (Marked in red)

Four

Directly after you get the third helmet you will help the friendly units in a fire fight in a large room where the IMC Forces have the high ground and are using a couple trucks as cover. Once you take them out and move on there is a door on the right side of the room that opens up and 3 or 4 more stalkers will activate and fire upon you. as soon as you walk through this big door you will need to look left to see the fourth helmet on a pipe across some toxic water.
To obtain this one I stood on the safe patch under the pipe the helmets on, wall ran on the back wall and jumped onto the side where I turned around and jumped straight onto the pipe.

Five

You will fight through a few more rooms and once you come across a room with a few shotgun troops (Unless they ran off or got killed) you will come across a door you have to use a keypad to open, there should be 2 drones that start flying upwards as you open the door, look up at the walkway in that room and you will see another pilot helmet sitting on the railing.

Six

The next room directly after the last helmet will have a ton of Sludge pouring down from above, BT will tell you to exercise caution. Climb up and to the very top of the room as high as you can go, you will find the last Pilot helmet sitting on a platform next to the hallway right before you run through a bunch of crawl spaces with pipes everywhere.
As long as you have not activated the keypad after you see BT you can go back and get the helmet if you missed it.

Into the Abyss Part 1 (4)

One

Into the Abyss has 4 total helmets to find in part one, Before BT is taken.
The first one is right at the start of the level before you grab the Scorch Titan Loadout.
Hop out of BT and go along the right side of the room, there is a little cave area where you will find the first helmet, the screenshot below is taken from the spot you grab the Scorch Loadout.

Two

The next one is also before the Scorch Titan Loadout, on the opposite side of the room you will see a hole with a broken down drop pod on the other side. (Hole shown below on the left) Hop out of your titan and head to the right after the hole, not really but kinda hidden behind a bush is the second helmet. (Right picture below, Circled in red)
I suggest grabbing both helmets before moving on past the Scorch loadout just in case you forget one of them. if you haven't gotten both helmets and have collected the Scorch Loadout you have gone too far.

Three

The next helmet is a bit out of the way, not hard to miss.
Once you fall down a shaft with BT you will see pairs of trees being moved along a rail, be careful as these trees are deadly. if you go forward twords the giant opening, stand on the platform hanging out and turn right you can see the Pilot helmet off on the side on top of some pipes. its rather easy to get, just a bit out of the way.
If you continue along, there is a narrow path with a 90 degree turn to the right and a bunch of IMC Forces. instead of following the path right, just turn around after taking out the troops and wall jump your way to the pipes up top. run along and grab yourself the third helmet of the level.

Four

The last helmet is located under a Hanger platform with an aircraft on top, You will get the Brute Titan Loadout and BT will ask you to hop out and access some control panels, instead of doing that, stand on the left edge of the landing pad and look down for some rocks, hop on down and collect the last helmet of the level. to get back up it's easiest to just hop into the water and respawn.

Into the Abyss Part 2 (3)

One

There are only 3 helmets in this next section, all of them are fairly easy to obtain.
The first one can be found right after you jump off the elevator platform and kill some IMC Troops, run along the pipe and once you see the tree in the screenshot below, wall jump across to it look right across the gap, its not hard to spot from here.

Two*

Ride along with the platforms being built until you have to ride some platforms with some metal frames on them that come out of the floor, When it moves across the first gap it is safely tilted, and the first set of walls are put onto the building frames. (left picture, you can see the walls that will be put on on the top, take note of the open box in the maintenance platform where you can get some guns and ammo, this is a good place to hop off, and take out the enemies if needed, and hop back on) Right after the first walls are put on, the platform is moved over and rotated 90 degrees counter clockwise, then safely tilted again to have some furniture, a set or stairs, and some flooring for the second floor added. The helmet is pretty easily located at the top of the maintenance platforms in this upper construction area. (Right picture showing the helmet is taken while standing on the frame, looking at the maintenance platforms)
After this, the building frame is taken over the next gap, so be sure you hop off before it finishes and moves on.
*ALTERNATIVELY, you can jump off onto the platform in the left picture where the first set of walls are put on, take out the IMC troops, then find the elevator with the big green button to go up and fight some more troops. The helmet is in this upper area above the pipes, not too hard to locate overall.

Three

The last helmet, it is located after the building you are riding on through a big empty area is turned sideways and connected to a wall of other buildings, (You will want to stand inside the building else you risk falling off. once you hop up and out from the inside of the building you will need to jump over to a sloped building that acts as a ramp, there are some orange traffic cones on the wall here. Climb up the ramp and look straight ahead past the waterfall. the helmet can be seen next to a pipe and a door.

Into the Abyss Part 3 (2)

One

The fist one is easy to spot, continue along the tunnel and just before you activate the "Rotate Prowler Towers" console, look up and you can see the Pilot helmet floating in the air. activate the console, and the rest should be easy.

Two

The last helmet is also pretty easy to spot. after going across the top of a Dome, just before wall running across a moving wall to get to BT, the helmet is on the right side of the Dome BT is standing in.

Effect and Cause Part 1 (2)

One and Two

These two are very easy and both are located on the same street near the start.
Continue through the level until a prowler pounces out and flaps at you, a Flyer will swoop in and take it away so no need to shoot it, before jumping down you can see the first helmet against a wall, and BT going around doing Robot things.
The second one is just a few feet further on the top of a lamppost just before you reach BT.
Part 1 ends as you cross the bridge while time warped, allowing you to cross while it was still intact. You will have plenty opportunity to grab these but its just easier when you first enter the street.

Effect and Cause Part 2 (6)

This is the last part of the chapter and contains 6 helmets, There are two Dimensions I will call Future and Past, the Past is where the IMC troops are located and the intact facility.

One

Continue on through the level until you get to a hallway blocked off by a couple turrets located in the past, take care of the turrets and continue on to the next room where a bunch of IMC troops are coming out of the elevators, if you jump to the Future there are a bunch of Prowlers, the helmet is in the elevator shaft located in the Past, but you can only access the elevator shaft in the future.

Two

The next helmet isn't too far ahead, Halfway up the elevator shaft you will go into the future to go through a door, jumping to the past will allow you to enter a room where a recording of Anderson talks about the ARC, once you go to the next hallway with a laser grid jump to the future and you can see the helmet on the other end of the tunnel hovering over a bunch of fire. I only got a glimpse of it before jumping to the Past, and thought it was a door light for some reason so I circled it in red below.

Three

The next one is once again, not far ahead of the last, In the Past you go through a hallway and come across a little hold with 3 turrets inside, On the other side of the turrets is a raised cage with the helmet inside. you have to get in the cage from the Future and switch to the past to obtain the helmet.

Now that I am writing this I realize the helmets are not far from one another, the last 3 are in the same room.

Four Five and Six

This room is the Cryo Storage, you have to jump to the Future to pass a laser door, and the 4th helmet is sitting on a platform just in front of you and to the left. you have to Switch between the past and future mid jump to traverse this room.

The next one is in the same room just on the other side, right before you zip line across a wire that is electrified in the past, you can see the helmet against a wall you will have to wall run across in just a second.

The last helmet can be seen right after the zip line and before you wall jump between timelines, Wall jump/Time shift across and you will see the ARC powering up, activate the bridge in the past, and wall run across the glass in the Future to obtain the last helmet. again, Dying will not lose the helmet so if you need to die to get the helmet its alright.

The Beacon Part 1 (2)

you start out this mission in a "Hub" like area that has 9 helmets but you wont get any of them yet. You will go across some toxic gas and help some friendly units fight off some Stalkers. after that you will disembark from BT and move on with your mission, after the load screen you will notice there are only 2 Helmets.

One

The first helmet is located after some wall running sections, followed by a climb into a room with two spinning turbines, the helmet is located on the right turbine.
If this helmet looks weird in the screenshot below that's probably because I had to Photoshop this one in...

Two

The second Helmet is located after you obtain the Arc Tool, run across the Giant turbine you jumped down from and into the next room. activate the turbine and it will push you up, near the top you will be able to see the last helmet located between some Scaffolding.

The Beacon Part 2 (9)

One

Once you are back to the "Hub" area, head to the Up-link Beacon, after opening the door for BT, before climbing into his hand turn around and climb the Beacon for the first helmet.
The door to the right is the door BT walks through and scans for a working transmitter.

Two

The next one is also right before BT Throws you, standing where the first helmet was you can see it just left from where BT throws you. I accidentally forgot this one and had to backtrack later to obtain it.

Three

The next one is directly after BT throws you, its in the building you land in and is obtained after you activate the door with the Arc tool, in the small room is a third helmet and a weapons cache.

Four

After you use the crane to move the wall, wall run across to the other side and climb to the top of the building, on the next building over you will see the helmet sitting on top.
There are some stacked crates in the building that make an easy climb to the top.

Five

Once you get to the next crane part, you will move the wall to the left and you can easily spot the next helmet on the top of the next building over.

Six

The next helmet is after you move one last crane into position, you will hear some IMC chatter and they will talk about intercepting you at Beacon 4, you can also see a big 04 Interstellar on the side.
right inside you will hear IMC troops talk about activating some stalkers and a door will shut, the helmet is right above this door. (Circled in red)

Seven

Once you get to Crane with the big dish, IMC radio chatter will talk about your titan and that your intentions are unknown. on top of the little building that has the crane controls you can see another helmet.

Eight

The last two helmets are on the Beacon, right after BT throws you up you can look left and spot another helmet just on the other side of some walkways. This one is hard to miss since its right on the path up the beacon.

Nine

The last one can be seen from the previous helmet, (Picture 1) just look to the left side of the dish and you can see it on the underside supports. Continue into the Beacon dish base and hop out the hatch the drone flew down through. run up some stairs and you can see the helmet again a little to the right before jumping onto the underside of the Beacon Dish. (Picture 2)

Trial By Fire (3)

One

There are 3 more helmets in this level, The first one is right after the first big fight, you enter the tunnel with Briggs, on the left there is a platform with some turbines on it, and a helmet in the back.

Two

The next one is after you fight a bunch of titans in a tunnel. just before the Elevator Lift that Briggs jumps onto, there is a small hole with a tunnel you can run through to get the second helmet.

Three

You go up the elevator and once at the top the Northstar Titan Loadout will be sitting there, continue forward until you come to a 90 degree left turn with two Tankers on the right. the Helmet is located on the pipe of the left tanker.

The Ark (3)

One

There are 46 Total helmets so we are getting close to the end. The first helmet is located in the first room after infiltrating the IMC Transport, take out all the troops and head to the Gun pad 01. its the closest to the cargo lift, from here just jump over to the helmet.
Someone in the comments mentioned you can backtrack and get this helmet if you missed it, there are no kill barriers from the floors above so you can jump down and collect it. Worst case scenario you can reload the mission especially since its so early in the mission.

Two

This next one is a bit tricky, its super easy to miss, and it's timed and if you don't know where to go it can be hard to get to in time. once you take out all 3 of the gunner bay crews the "6-4" will join you on the ship. they will tell Briggs they need her help and the ship she is in will do a flyby, the helmet is on her ship in the far door. you can see it between her legs in the picture below. if you miss the opportunity to hop onto her ship just jump off the edge and you will respawn just before she does her flyby.

Three

The last helmet is located in the giant hanger you jump into just after Briggs sets her ship in place for you to wall run off. there are quite a lot of enemies here and you will need to take them out.
Once the room is clear the 6-4 will hop up some stairs to the control room, instead of going to the control room head to the back of the hanger, next to one of the last ships at the far end is the last helmet of the level.

The Fold Weapon (3)

The last three helmets.

One

The first helmet of the level is located after you wall run/jump over a fire pit, the path opens up into a big area with pipes running on the sides and a ton of drones and a bunch of IMC Troops. once they are all taken out take a look to the top left before reentering the facility.
the helmet is on the top. (Circled in red)
If you got to the point where you call in a titan shell you have gone too far.

Two

The second to last helmet is located in the room after the titan fight around the giant cannon battery, the doors will open up and a legion will waltz on out, take him out and standing in the doorway you can see the helmet sitting on top of some pipes in the center back wall of the room.

Three

The last and final helmet is located in the "Targeting room" where you see some holographic displays of the Arc Weapon and the planet its targeting, just before you enter the last fight.
