how to die
By Scyhigh
Geometry Dash holds a lot of unique characters for you to choose from, and all with a unique play style. For instance, Cube 1 can jump, while Cube 4 can bounce. However, using a serious method of exploits found within the game, it;s possible to see one main mechanic that all cubes share - death. And here's how to do it!

Finding your character
Choosing your character is crucial to finding your play style. There are loads of different characters you find on your quest to overcome your unpaid taxes and save your house. When you start the game, select the option to the left, where you should see 4 characters unlocked. however, you also have some vehicles you were able to steal from your local AutoZone. When you start, you only get one type of each vehicle. Don't worry, as you won't need this for setting up your untimely demise. On the bottom of the screen, you can see a wide selection of colors, with around 3/4ths of the color selection being locked. The developer, RobTop, left some easter eggs here for those who are smart enough to find them. For example, one of the colors is red. This is a nod to the Geometry Dash version 2.1 teaser, in which the level had the color red in it. In an effort to be progressive, RobTop made sure the colors you choose have no actual effect on your character, so you can choose whatever ones you want.

The same can't be said for the actual characters themselves, unfortunately. Hidden within the games code, it's found that there is an internal modifier that affects the stats depending on what the coordinates are for the icon on the sprite sheet. However, with some extensive decrypting, I've been able to find the formula that the game uses, which looks like this

[(X+-Y)/(Y+-X)]^0= stat change

Be sure to keep this equation in mind when choosing your character.
Finding your environment
Now that we have our character set up, it's time to pick a place to die! Many levels have different mechanics to them. For example, Fingerdash has those dash orbs, Time Machine makes use of triple spikes, and Stereo Madness is blue. Each level also has a different type of terrain, which can impact your movement. For example, Cycles uses a ground type that constantly pushes you to the right, Theory of Everything uses a ground element that slides you to the right with constant velocity, and Stereo Madness is blue. Keep in mind the game will make use of those stat variables for different terrains, so keep that formula in mind!

After some extensive testing, it has been found that the level that is the quickest to get our intended results in is Electrodynamix, the 15th level out of the built in levels. It takes an estimated 1.05 seconds to die in, so it's perfect for what we're trying to do - especially for those who are inexperienced with this skill.

Before you go in though, there is still one more thing you'll need to do.
Re-evaluating your life choices
You spent so much time working towards building a character. You went through the effort to try and find a useful guide. Why are you still reading this? Do you really hate yourself so much that you'd rather see your hero die before they can start than to get some sleep? Why are you even awake, anyway? Really, you seem tired. you need some rest. Is everything okay? Are you sure you have this all under control? I know it's hard, but the incident was nearly 3 years ago. You can't just let it stay in the back of your mind like this. It wasn't your fault, none of it was. You don't need to beat yourself up over it.

All I ask is... if you don't feel right, please talk to someone. Someone who can help you through these times. But for now, please, try to get some sleep.

...no? Okay, let's finish off this tutorial!!
Dying!
Okay, we have everything set up, we have our level of choice, we've contemplated our life choices that led us to this moment, and we're ready to go! Now, make sure to follow these steps very carefully, otherwise some unintended results may occur.

1) Start the level.

2) Don't do anything else.

3) wait until you see your character explode

Congratulations! You have successfully died in Geometry Dash!
