American 4-4-0 Set

Descripción
The American 4-4-0 is one of the most ubiquitous locomotives int he world. These engines were constructed in one form or the other for nearly 100 years, from the 1840s to the late 1930s (and possibly in the 1940s).

These engines were designed to be simple to build and operate, and due to their large driving wheels, where capable of high speeds.

Sadly, in TpF2, to represent the most common type of locomotive in America and the most 'steam engine' of steam engines, we have just one model of a 1850s 4-4-0 to go off.

So, I did a bit of work.

This mod contains TEN 4-4-0s for you to use, along with trackside assets and balanced 1850 waggons to allow you to use their full potential. I have also unlocked them from USA-only play.

So, the list of engines:
The General (vanilla re-skin to include W. & A. R R)
The Texas (The General reskin)
B. & O. R. R. (William Mason)
Eureka and Palisade RR (Based off 3ft narrow gauge 4-4-0)
Virginia and Truckee (Inyo)
York County Railroad (York #17)
Jupiter
Leviathan
Large generic 4-4-0 (Unbranded)
Small generic 4-4-0 (Unbranded)

May need an update for the updated models.

Does this rebalance the stock waggons? I don't see any other waggons in my game.

Could you do a Shay locomotive?

Is it possible to turn down the lanterns on the front? They hurt my eyes.

For a future suggestion, you should include a number of 4-4-0 models built in the 1910's and 1920's. In fact, the skin you could use for one model is C&O #231, which, technically, still exists, though it's currently entombed in Richmond's Church Hill Tunnel and has been there since October 2nd, 1925.

Looking forward to adding your mod in my WNC lay out. Thanks

Bit of a suggestion, but what about more modern styled 4-4-0s? I know Canadian Pacific ran Americans all the way into the 60s - itd be a neat change of pace.

Is there a way to disable the wagons from this set from appearing in your game? Because the capacity of these new wagons is too low for my liking.

Not outside frames, just ankle bars.
