How to Remove Intro Videos

This guide will tell you how to disable those pesky intro videos.

Removing the videos

The game unfortunately suffers from forcing you to sit through 5 videos you can't skip. It's easy enough to disable them though.

You have two options:

1) Right Click Doom 64 -> Properties -> General -> Set launch options

Put: -skipmovies


2) Go to: SteamLibrary > steamapps > common > Doom 64 > movies

Delete all five .ogv video files.

Boot the game, enjoy.

In the other ports you can skip with space, but in Doom 64 for some reason you cannot

Thanks, I didn't even think of this. I always hated how the splash screens were unskipable.
