Final Puzzle

This guide will help you to "solve" the final puzzle using text and images, not video.

Overview

You have reached the end of the game, and have 4 kinds of special fluid accessible in the lab (I'm ignoring Water).

• Red
  
• Blue
  
• Green
  
• Lava

The task is to get the big machine going, as implied by the drawings done with chalk on the boards.

You're reading this guide because you're having trouble getting them all in.
I'm making this guide, because you're not alone...
It's not particularly intuitive, and it's definitely not quick.

All this guide will give you is the method that worked for me.
Just the steps, none of the explanation.

Red

We're going to put (at least) 2 Red Dark Fluro up top. not 1 Red 1 Blue

Open the top right floor trap, keep the left one closed.

Stand on the switch that gets the Red flowing, and drop 2 (or 3) Dark Fluro Seeds.

They will run to the right, so run yourself to the right before they can run into you and kill themselves.
Once they've stopped on the platform in the dark, spray some Green under it to get them running up further.

When they stop on the second platform in the dark, spray some Green under them again to get them running up further again.
They should have jumped into the right trap, so close the trap on them.

Green

You need to combine Green with Lava to get the Green Mist.

Make 2 Button Fluros out of Water so that one is stood on the Green button, and one on the Lava button.

Go and stand next to the crank beside the big machine in the middle.
Create a Green Drinker Fluro.

Things happen fast after this!

Blue

Once the Green fluro has run off to murder itself in the Lava as it goes to soak up more Green, turn the crank, jump inside the machine, and start spraying Blue like there's no tomorrow!

White

That should be all it takes.

A cutscene will start, congrats, you've completed Vessel!
Sit back and wait for the credits to end.

Epilogue

I truly love this game, Vessel.
I love the visuals, the gameplay, the story, the sound, the AI, the puzzles, all of it.

I solved it like this: put 1 dark blue fluro in a cage above; make 1 red pursuer fluro and lure it into the accelerator, it'll try to jump out but can't; make 1 lava pursuer and do the same thing; once both are inside, start the machine, jump in and spray green to the lava fluro to make the steam; the blue above will melt on its own and get sucked in as well. Idk if protoplasm is needed but I sprayed some of it too.
