Console commands and EP rewards
This section will obviously contain cheats. It is your choice to use these console commands, or not! At the other hand this section will contain warnings. Character progression in Enderal - Forgotten Stories differs significantly from that in Skyrim. The leveling system of Enderal uses the Query Stats to keep track of earned experience points, where in Skyrim the Query Stats have only an informational purpose. In other cases global variables are used to keep track of earned experience points. Four global variables may be used to reward experience points for completing quests (100, 200, 300 or 400 EP)

KILL, KILLALL and KILLALLACTORS
If you need or want to use this command, only use the KILL command, but use the player as the (optional) killer. All the player's enemies have a script attached which handles their death, rewarding the player with a certain amount of experience points. It is not possible to point to the player as the killer in case of the KILLALL and KILLALLACTORS commands.

To kill an enemy, open the console, select the enemy and type:
kill player

PAYCRIMEGOLD
Although there are various crime factions, Enderal doesn't seem to care about where the crime is committed. Using the E key to pick up things may sometimes seem harmless, as there are no guards around, but arriving in a town or city may confront you with a guard addressing you about your crime. This happened to me on a few occasions without having any idea what I had done wrong. When travelling to Ark, Duneville, Riverville or the Undercity or any other location with guards, it may be an idea to check if you have a bounty on your head.

Enderal crime factions:
  • Ark: 0008D90C (incl. Farmer's Coast)
  • Duneville: 0202E9AD
  • Sun Coast/Riverville: 0007286C
  • Undercity: 00137A04

Use the following command to pay your bounty:
paycrimegold 0 0 <factionID>
The first tag will have you go to jail (1) or not (0) and the second tag will have your stolen items confiscated (1) or not (0). Use the faction ID without brackets and leading zeros, while you may also have to enclose the ID within double quotation marks.

RESETQUEST
When playing Skyrim, quests can be flagged as "Game Start Enabled" and/or "Run Once". None of the side quests in Enderal are flagged as "Game Start Enabled" and only three are flagged as "Run Once" (NQ10_Elfride, NQ21 and NQ23).

A quest flagged as "Run Once" can NEVER be reset. So, it would be possible to reset most of the side quests, although I have no ideas about the consequences yet, but I will do some testing soon to see what happens when resetting a quest which has already been completed.

RESURRECT
You will most probably never have to use this command, as all main characters in Enderal are marked as essential. However, if you use Skyrim with the ini-setting
bEssentialTakeNoDamage=0
and install Enderal when using this setting, this setting will be applied to Enderal upon installing. I have encountered this when playing Enderal for the first time while forgetting to change the ini-setting, having to resurrect Jespar Del'Varek several times while travelling from Riverville to Ark. Although there is no harm in resurrecting NPCs in Enderal, it can be annoying to have to resurrect NPCs so many times. Enderal only uses "death scripts" for enemies to reward the player experience points upon killing them. Unlike Skyrim, Enderal doesn't know relationships, mourning factions, death scripts for non-enemies, etc. If you have to use this comment, select the NPC in the console, and use:
resurrect 1
The 1 tag prevents the NPC from vanishing and appearing again, but instead stand up as if they have been unconcious.

SET TIMESCALE TO
Enderal's timescale is set to 10, meaning 1 minute real time equals 10 minutes ingame time, which is half as fast as in Skyrim (20). You can set the timescale to any value you like, but values less than 1 will prevent NPCs from crossing cell borders. A value of 0 will freeze time of day completely and fast travelling with this value may give loading problems. Example:
set timescale to 1

TMM (TOGGLE MAP MARKERS)
In Enderal map markers are disabled by default. You can use the TMM command to enable all map markers, but you should only use this command as:
tmm 1,0,0
This way all map markers will be revealed on the map, but the locations will still be marked as undiscovered, and you will not loose experience points on discovering new locations.

Fast travelling is disabled by default. You can use a mod, such as Enderal Fast Travel EV to enable fast travelling to discovered locations.
Generic EP rewards
Various player actions will reward the player with the same amount of experience point, no matter the situation or circumstance. Only when completing quests or killing enemies, the reward in experience points will differ.

With the exception of completing quests, killing enemies and finding magical and mystical symbols, actions are rewarded upon completing the action, and are determined in the Hero Menu by Skyrim's QueryStats:
  • Armor Made
  • Intimidations
  • Locations Discovered
  • Locks Picked
  • Magic Items Made
  • Poisons Made
  • Potions Made
  • Souls Trapped
  • Weapons Made

EP rewards completing main questline
Where in the following tables a question mark is used in the column "Experience Points", I am not yet aware of the EPs rewarded. Default EP rewards are configured in four global variables (100, 200, 300 or 400 EPs), probably depending on the difficulty of the quest (Very Easy, Medium, Hard, Very Hard).
