Weapon/Armor Set 1
От Rocket Fish
This is the first in series of guides that I am making for a friend who wants builds and whatnot for weapons and warframes. Feel free to use this builds, alter them, whatever I don't care. In this first part, he wanted Nidus, Acceltra, and Akarius.

First Nidus Build

This is my main build for Nidus. It gets the job done, and parts of it can be easily swapped out for a different play style. Take the amount of formas you see with a grain of salt as I have swapped out some polarities that I put on there, but these are in no way a one forma build, maybe two forma at the very least.

Anyways, onto the build itself. Blind Rage and Transient Fortitude for power strength which I will explain why that is really good late. Adaptation because you can get a 90% damage reduction. Primed Continuity to counteract the negative duration from TF. Primed Flow so you dont have to worry too much about the negative efficiency from BR. Vitality because he has no shields. Hunter Adrenaline or rage for energy every time you take damage. Steel Charge for a little extra space, which is needed with these builds, and enemy sense because it causes enemies to spawn more, or whatever it does to make them come at you in bigger numbers.

I only talked about 9 mods in that previous part and thats because abundant mutation can easily be swapped out for something else like efficiency or even more strength, either way I like this mod for multiple reasons. The first reason is you can get 300 stacks, which causes his abilities to skyrocket in scaling. With max stacks and this build you will deal over 50k damage with your first, and over 30k damage with the maggot explosion from your fourth. If you ever get Teeming Virulence with this build as well without dropping AM, you can get a 300% critical chance bonus. If you go into a void fissure, you can get even more strength if you get lucky, so thats a little added bonus.
The second reason is that with the undying cool down, I feel like it forces you to play a little more safe than just being completely brain dead once you reach max stacks.

TLDR:
basic stats to aim for
Stength: increases the damage of your first, the damage reduction of your third, and the heal rate and explosion damage of your fourth. Really needed in any nidus build.
Duration: Increases the duration of your second, third, and fourth. Not really needed, but dont go negative.
Range: Increases the range of all your abilities. Not really needed, just dont go negative or else you will have a bad time.
Efficiency: Only affects the costs of your first and second. Not really needed as you gain 1/4 of the energy needed to cast the ability regardless of how much was expended.
Health and armor: Yes, the more the better as it improves your ability to survive.
Shields: No, he has no shields so putting mods like that on wont help.
Experimental Nidus Build

This build is for those who have played around with nidus a bit and know his ins and outs. The main difference with this is that it trades versatility for higher surviving abilities, and higher strength. You will need umbra mods for this build to be much different from the other build. The build mainly drops TF for umbra mods and Augur Secrets, which allows PC to be dropped as well, free up more space. You can swap out Augur Secrets for Flow, not primed as it doesnt fit, if you feel like you want to extra energy space.

With this build, at max stacks, you get closer to 60k damage with your first, and almost 43k explosion damage from the maggots. You have to worry more about how and when you use your first and second as you dont have as much of a buffer with energy. Casting both abilities costs around 101 energy, so be careful.

I havent actually tested this build out yet, but in theory it should work better than the other build.
Acceltra Build

Starting with the abilities on this weapon, if you sprint while reloading, you reload quicker, even more so with Gauss. So always be sprinting. This weapon has low ammo reserves, if I recall correctly, it has two reloads worth of ammo, so bring ammo mutation or you will have a bad time. Acceltra has 32% critical chance with a 2.8x critical damage multiplier and a 6% status chance, making it a critical based weapon. If the projectiles travel >7m, they are and produce a aoe explosion. There is little slash damage, so hunter munitions is a no go.

Taking advantage of the high critical chance, this build has critical chance and critical damage on, you can even use argon scope for more critical chance. Split Chamber because multishot is the best stat to have. Ammo mutation because ammo. Serration for damage.

Now, if you notice, you will see that I have two 60/60 mods, instead of two 90 mods. This is because this is a two forma build and I dont have enough space, but also because the weapon has an interesting interaction with the rocket's AoE, where they have a largely increased status chance. So much that pretty much every shot will trigger a status effect, Making this a great weapon for a Condition Overload build, or just a status build. You can go for any combination of status, but the meta right now is corrosive and heat to strip most, if not all of the armor off an enemy. In my tests, it caused alot of status, which was expected, but also its damage wasnt too bad against level 135 heavy gunners, most likely because of the armor strip.

TLDR:
Good damage, great status dealer, despite being a critical based weapon. Low maximum ammo, so bring ammo mutation. Best suited for a CO build, but can go for other builds as well.
Akarius Build

The Akarius is like a a worse acceltra. It has a longer arming range, increased to about 9m. You have even less ammo maximum, still about two full reloads though. The damage is worse. Worst of all, it only has impact damage, one of the, if not the most useless status type in the game. Still. Honestly, this weapon just sucks all around, and is only useful using a build that applies status for a CO build on a melee weapon. Not even the corrosive/heat combo saves it. Its pretty much mastery fodder.

TLDR:
Mastery fodder, if you want to use this weapon, consider using something else. If that didnt deter you, use a status build to apply status to enemies for a CO build.
