How to Become a Pro Walter Main

The best way to play Walter, and even more.

Commit Bird Genocide

They are annoying, and spying for Charlie, but apart from that, they are source of meat and feathers and both are very useful, even in small amounts like ten or twenty stacks.

The bonus of this strategy is that it decorates the base with feathers and small meats all over the place, which some may find untidy, but they lack the artistic taste for the nature.

Tell Night Time Stories

Walter has a smooth and calming voice, and you can make sure players will enjoy the stories. Make sure to tell the exact same story every night, in case someone missed a part.

For added bonus, invite couple of your scout friends to throw a party and tell stories, in the same time.

Always Watch Your Friend's Back

You are the most fearless of all survivors, so when a player is alone by the Fire Pit, stay near them for comfort. Also feed your companion so that she grows, and tell her to stay in front of the Fire Pit for easy access.

Share Your Technology

Your cosmetics and weapons are one of a kind, so make sure to share them with other survivors; To be fair, place them randomly all over the base rather than putting in chest or directly giving, so that only those in real need will pick it up.

Note: Craft and drop at-least 10 of each item exclusive to you (Slingshot, Hat, Projectiles) just in case.

Shelter Is Important

As a scout, it's your duty to provide shelter. Place at-least twenty tents around the base; I recommend placing them near Chests and in the middle of kitchen for easy and fast access.

Walter's tent can be used by everyone :), when I play Walter I always rush ruins and cheese fuelweaver asap.

Slingshot can not be used by others so no need to craft and drop them for other. Everything else can be given for others to use.
