Need For Speed Rivals - Remove 30 fps cap | Get 60 fps

This game runs natively at capped 30fps and is not supposed to run it above that.
But there is a simple way to kind of fix that issue.

Platform - Steam | Origin | EA App

Steam version:
If you have the Steam version, you can change it both through Steam or Origin.
Only one platform is enough, you do not have to change it on both platforms.

Origin version:
If you have the Origin version, you can only change it through Origin.

EA App version:
If you have the EA App version, you can only change it through the EA App.

Steam - How to change it.

⚫️ You simply just open Steam
⚫️ go to Need For Speed Rivals
⚫️ right click the game
⚫️ and click on "Properties..."




⚫️ After that you have to go to the ''GENERAL'' section
⚫️ and go to the ''LAUNCH OPTIONS'' line and paste in:

 -GameTime.MaxSimFps 60 -GameTime.ForceSimRate 60 

⚫️ Lastly, close the window. Steam will automatically save the changes.

EA App - How to change it.

⚫️ You simply just open the EA App
⚫️ go to Need For Speed Rivals
⚫️ press the 3-dot menu
⚫️ and click on ''View properties''.





⚫️ After that you have to go to the ''Advanced Launch Options'' section
⚫️ and go to the ''Command line arguments'' line and paste in:

 -GameTime.MaxSimFps 60 -GameTime.ForceSimRate 60 

⚫️ Lastly, save your changes.

Origin - How to change it.

⚫️ You simply just open Origin
⚫️ go to Need For Speed Rivals
⚫️ go to the settings button
⚫️ and click on ''Game properties''.




⚫️ After that you have to go to the ''Advanced Launch Options'' section
⚫️ and go to the ''Command line arguments'' line and paste in:

 -GameTime.MaxSimFps 60 -GameTime.ForceSimRate 60 

⚫️ Lastly, save your changes.

Above 60fps possible?

It is kind of possible if you change the ''60'' at both lines to your prefered refresh rate:

-GameTime.MaxSimFps 60 -GameTime.ForceSimRate 60

BUT...

it will break your game.
Your game will run faster, like it is a time lapse.
You will also get plenty of bugs like broken sound and broken camera angles and so on.

fair warning: this breaks the game as everything is tied to the framerate, there's a mod made by brawltendo that aims to fix the issue slightly, but constant crashing occurs. lossless scaling is the best option to increase the framerate as of currently.

this is outdated. use the frosty mod manager mod. it doesn't break the game.
