The definitive guide to play BF3 online or campaign through steam, Punkbuster and also some recommendations
By NIWDERED07
NOTE: you used the google translator to translate my guide into english, so I apologize for the english of this guide.

My original guide is: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2127562514 Versión en español

At first I imagined creating a simple guide for a specific problem, but it turns out that it did not work for all or at least the majority, so after dealing with several problems with different people and also receiving support from some, I was able to give a solution to several, So a "simple" guide has become a "general" guide to problems: D, So let's get started, the guide is arranged as follows:

0) General questions.

0.1) Quick guide for some.

1) General recommendations.

2) Problem "joining the server" in the multiplayer or "Initializing" in the campaign or "Waiting to quit the game" but infinitely.

3) Same problem as the previous one with the difference that here if you try to load from STEAM or Origin but it closes out of the blue.

4) I can play the campaign, but when I try to play multiplayer, the "Punkbuster" sends me "KICK":

5) Other possible solutions to various problems.

6) Acknowledgments.

7) Problems with the Windows 10 2004 update or ANY previous step did not help you and the game does not work.

8) Evidences.

9) Updates.

If you can't see what the images say, click on them to enlarge them.

If you already have the game and you were also able to play it, if you want you can answer some questions in the "General questions" section and you can leave your opinion of the questions that you can answer in the comment box, to corroborate if I am wrong about something , Thank you.

Remember that the game has cooperative mode, you can access it from the browser.

If the guide is useful, do not forget to like it, add it to your favorites to support me, leave a comment and I hope I have been helpful to you, that you managed to unlock all the game's badges, bars and medals, good luck.

If you want to see more guides of mine I leave you the following link: Here

0) General questions:
-1) Can the game be played for a single player, that is, does it have a campaign?

RTA: Yes, if you can play alone and if you have a campaign.

-2) Do you have Cooperative mode?

RTA: If you have, but it is only to join online, that is, if you want to play with your friend, he must have a game and account for him and you, or you can also wait for someone to join your room Wait or ask in the forums who has signed up to play.

-3) Do you have multiplayer? I have read that it does not have, that you can only play the campaign, is that true?

RTA: It is NOT true, the game DOES have multiplayer, but to access it, the "Battlelog" page must be through the browser if you do not know how, later I will explain how you can.

-4) I do have an ORIGIN account with this game and others. Can I link them to my STEAM account to be able to play them from there?

RTA: No, you cannot, if you want to have the games in STEAM, you must buy them again in STEAM to be able to play, record your time and take screenshots and also to obtain "badges" for your profile.

-5) I have my main ORIGIN account with my main NICK, if I buy the games on STEAM, can I use the same account so that they are linked?

RTA: In this case, yes, when you buy your game on STEAM, it will ask you to start the section of your origin account, so when you put your initial data, the link will be made.

-6) I have BF3 since the game was released in ORIGIN, I have a character with a high level, even in BF4 and other games. When I buy the game in STEAM, can I continue with my character and my process? Or should I start again from scratch?

RTA: If you already had a process in your games, the most likely thing is that if you can continue, where I can guarantee it is in all the BFs you can continue with your process, because STEAM and ORIGIN "Unify" the characters. So if you can continue with your old account, but if you want to start from level 0, you will have to create a new account and that is the one that you link to your STEAM account before the others (NOTE: IF YOU HAVE SEVERAL STEAM GAMES PURCHASED THAT ARE FROM ORIGIN AND YOU DIDN'T USE THEM, ONCE YOU OPEN A SINGLE GAME WITH YOUR ORIGIN ACCOUNT, AUTOMATICALLY ALL THE GAMES THAT ARE ORIGIN WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY PASSED TO THE ACCOUNT, SO IF YOU WANT ONLY ONE SPECIFIC GAME FOR AN ACCOUNT AND ANOTHER GAME FOR ANOTHER, IT WILL BE POSSIBLE, UNLESS YOU HAVE A SINGLE GAME IN YOUR LIBRARY> YOU LINK IT TO YOUR MAIN ACCOUNT ORIGIN, YOU PURCHASE ANOTHER GAME AND YOU LINK THIS OTHER GAME OPENING YOUR SECONDARY ORIGIN ACCOUNT)

-7) I know it's an old game, so I was wondering, Can I use cheats, hacks, mods? Well, I imagine that those who are playing use that.

RTA: If you use this type of programs, you run a very high risk of being banned and in the event that this happens, you stay with the BAN for life, with this you will not be able to play online again, at least on that account , later in the guide I explain a little more detail.

-8) Are there still players in the game? I mean online

RTA: It is relative, because if you play on only Latin American servers you may find few, but if you can play on other servers, which are far away, there is a considerably high number of players for all the time that has passed, it seems to me that it is still very active, for Lucky this game if your ping does not exceed "200 ping" you can play almost on any server without problem, of course the less the better, but until then I have noticed that it can be played.

-9) I have the game in ORIGIN and I have it installed right now on my computer, if I buy the STEAM game, do I no longer need to install the game through the STEAM platform?

RTA: If you need to install it, since being two different platforms, each one uses a different directory, so if you have to install it, but BEFORE INSTALLING it, UNINSTALL or DELETE the folder you have installed in ORIGIN so that you avoid occupying twice space and in addition to avoiding conflicts between platforms, so what I recommend is:
-Delete or uninstall the ORIGIN game.
-Go to the location where it was installed and delete the folder.
-Download the STEAM now and enjoy the game.

-10) Don't you find it ugly to have to open the browser to play? That is, to be able to access "Battlelog".

RTA: In the beginning, it seemed a bit overwhelming to me, but over time I got used to it and now it does not cause me discomfort. I have even noticed some "interesting" things, Example you on the page, you can access every game you have played, such as in which server, at what time and what players were in that round you played, in which positions they were, who won and who lost, even from there if by any chance (although the truth is very little probability) that you will find yourself to a Cheater or "Hacker" in your game and they did not manage to ban him, you can enter and see your history and report that player to block it.

Other details that I have seen is that, you can see your statistics in great detail, such as how many insignia, decorations, prizes, characters, times you die or that you kill, how many times you captured sites or flags, or lost, or the deaths you have done with each type of weapon is very detailed.

Another thing that I have detailed and for now I will compare it with BF4 is that in BF4 you can access the multiplayer or online through the browser as BF3 or through the same game, because that does have those options integrated, but I have noticed that your Statistics of your character within the game you can not see very detailed as if you can do it on the page, as an example:

- All the deaths that you have generated do not appear within the game, on the page they do.
- The times you have died, the same, not in the game, but on the page yes.
- Statistics on each specific weapon, in the game it does not appear as detailed, but on the page it does.
- Total number of wins and losses, the same, not in the game, on the page yes, what appears is the K / D ratio.

I think there will be more, but I haven't detailed much in the game yet, so I can't announce anything else yet.

Another detail is that on the page as it allows you to see your statistics, you can also search for a specific player and see his or make comparisons, of course this can be provided as long as you have in your "Battlelog" profile in "public" and not "just friends" or "just me".

-11) I have played in multiplayer or online, but I feel that they kill me very quickly and I shoot them and I don't see them being killed. Do they use cheats, hacks or mods?

RTA: No, it is normal that you feel that, because while you get used to the game mode, it is normal that at first you die a lot, because it takes you a while to adapt to the type of weapon you use or how it affects distances and others , time will teach you, also in the beginning try to join games where you have the lowest ping, so that you learn how the theme of the game is and then you can join games where the ping is higher and you can already do "the "fixes from where to shoot.

-12) Can I kiss you for help? (Sarcasm)

RTA: I'm embarrassed so no. But thanks: 'D
0.1) Quick guide for some:
There are some who are lucky and do not need even a guide to be able to run the game, they have only given "play" and it has worked for them, there are others who are not as lucky as the previous ones, but if anything, well, for this with these simple steps you can run your game.

1) Quick way to know if the game works for you, is to hit "play" in ORIGIN, not in STEAM, but in ORIGIN, when you hit ORIGIN to play the game it will run in single player mode ie CAMPAIGN. If it works for you, congratulations, continue with the following steps. If it doesn't work for you, you must follow the steps in the guide, some should work for you, don't forget to see the "Updates" section.

2) If you use Chrome browser it does not work, so you can use Firefox or Internet Explorer / Microsoft Edge.

3) Start the game from the "Battlelog" page and not from the STEAM or ORIGIN applications.

4) If you have problems with expulsion from the server, you only need to go to point (4) I can play the campaign, but when I try to play multiplayer, the "Punkbuster" expels me or "KICK")

If you have not been as lucky as the previous ones, follow the steps in the guide, at some point it should work for you.
1) General recommendations:
GENERAL NOTE 1: Every change you make you need to close the browser and close ORIGIN, for some reason it does not recognize the changes and require you to reopen them. Every time you finish each of the "sections" of this guide I recommend you do a restart of your computer, this so that there is a better recognition by the system of the changes made.

GENERAL NOTE 2: If you could or can play multiplayer, I recommend only playing with the necessary or basic programs such as: Origin, Steam, Browser and the antivirus, because if you have programs like MSI Afterburner / RTSS, Wallpaper Engine, Razer, Synapse, Rapr, Xfire, or others more current, perhaps you run the risk of BANING you Globally and it means that you will no longer be able to play BF3 in ONLINE mode on that account because of that BAN, because some rumored that very rarely it happens, but they have been Past that they have received BAN without having had anything installed like Cheats, Hacks, Mods, these are called "false positives", so I deduce that it is possibly caused by any of these third-party programs, in case they put BAN on you They cannot withdraw it or the battlements will not pay attention to you, so if you want to play BF3 again you will have to create a new account, with a new NICK and buy the game or games again if you want to have everything in one.

If you use cheats, hacks or mods, you know what you are up to, it is your decision.

If for some reason in the game you get "(joining the server" in the multiplayer or "Initializing" in the campaign or "Waiting to quit the game" but infinitely) while you are testing, you just need to close your browser completely and wait for that origin and steam recognize the closing of the browser, thus it unlocks without the need to force the closing of the programs.

-1) I recommend not skipping ANY step, because although for some it seems somewhat "unnecessary" to have the main applications like STEAM and ORIGIN running in the taskbar, it may be a reason that they did not work for some reason at being running in the background, it's like "NOT running".

-2) If you already have the game installed by ORIGIN before buying it by STEAM, I recommend you Delete - Delete - Uninstall the game from ORIGIN (Including its installation folder) before opening the STEAM game, because STEAM will install again the game and when you run ORIGIN, it does not know which of the two to choose, to avoid these conflicts, first delete the ORIGIN conflict and then install the STEAM conflict.

-3) It seems common, but update your hardware drivers, if you can first uninstall the ones you have and then install the newly downloaded ones, I leave you the links of the main graphics cards "GPUs":

AMD or ATI (for ATI GPUs you need to select Graphics> Legacy graphics> Your model:

Drivers AMD or ATI[www.amd.com]

Intel:

Drivers Intel[www.intel.com]

Nvidia:

Driver NVIDIA[www.nvidia.com]

I recommend that you also do it with the audio, generally it is:

Realtek (maybe this is your board in this list):

Drivers Realtek[www.realtek.com]

-4) If you have ORIGIN installed or STEAM installed Origin, Uninstall it - delete it and download and install it again, here is the link:

ORIGIN installer[www.dm.origin.com]

-4) Whether or not you have any of these problems, but others are happening to you, I recommend installing the Battlelog that the game used to use, you must run it as "administrator", in the following steps you can see how, for now, I leave the link:

Battlelog[drive.google.com]

-5) You may or may not have any of these problems, but others are happening to you, I recommend installing the Battlelog that the game used to use, you must run it as "administrator", in the following steps you can see how, for now here I leave the link:

-6) The browser, if you use Chrome for this game I regret to inform you that several users have told me that they have not been able to start from which you can use Internet Explorer / Microsoft Edge or in my case I recommend using Firefox which is the one I use and I used to play, so far it has worked perfectly, I also recommend that you have the browser you are using updated.

-7) If for some reason you forgot and you directly clicked on "play" from STEAM and you are blocked by saying "Initializing" or "Waiting to quit the game" again, what you should do is close the browser and then ORIGIN (keep in mind that only check the "X" in the window does not close it, you have to check if it is running in the background and close it) when you have done this, you reopen ORIGIN and then the browser.

-8) Remember to go to the end of the guide and always the part "Updates, in that part I will be uploading new possible solutions, so stay tuned to that section.

-9) If you can already play, I recommend that you leave the filters as follows if you want to see all the types of servers that exist, because you may want a specific map or a way to play with your friends, this mode will serve you well, remember to click on "Reset and save filter"

Or as follows if you just want to see where there are players,

Every time you go down the browser slider, to search for servers, more will appear, if they do not appear more, go up a little and then go back down, repeat this several times to see more and more servers.
2) Problem "joining the server" in the multiplayer or "Initializing" in the campaign or "Waiting to quit the game":
If the STEAM application is run and then STEAM runs the ORIGIN application and then the browser page opens, where we can see if we want to run campaign mode or search for a server to play online, but when we select either one it stays " joining the server "in the multiplayer or" Initializing "in the campaign

or "Waiting to quit the game" infinitely (Even some people don't even show pop-up messages).

Unlike the following problem that are very similar, is that here it does not even try to open the game, we see that when in the browser we select a game mode and when we run it, STEAM does not change from "Play" to "Stop" , because it always stays "playing".

The possible solution to this would be the following:

This is just an alternative of how they can run and take advantage of the game for now while EA manages to solve this problem, well let's continue.

The solution I gave to this problem.

-1) Download the file Battlelog[drive.google.com] once downloaded, right-click and select "Run as administrator "

You will get a pop-up window asking you about its execution and click "Yes". The program starts and installs and closes automatically by itself.

-2) Now if you have Origin running you must close the program.

Note: they must close it completely from the taskbar, because if they only close the window, it continues to run in the background.

-3) Now we need to disable the automatic start of origin when turning on the computer, for this we will need to press "Ctrl + Alt + Del" and then select "Task Manager" a window will open and select the "Start" tab

Once in that tab we go to "Origin" and we right-click and select "Disable":

-4) Restart the computer, after they have restarted it, wait a moment for your entire operating system to load properly and verify that they have "STEAM" running and if it is already running, then they run "Origin".

**** Note: They must have both programs open that can be seen in the taskbar because if it is running in the background it does not work.

Background should NOT be in any of these ways:

Both in the background:

Only STEAM in the background:

Background ORIGIN only:

AS IF IT SHOULD BE:
Both open in the taskbar:

We are going to open our browser "Firefox" and in the search engine write "Battlelog" or "Battlelog Battlefield 3" here I leave the link

https://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf3/en/

They start section and once they have started section they will be able to run campaign mode or search for a server, once they have found the server and they have given it to “join”, they wait a moment it takes from 0.2 min to 2 min, this depends on their computers and both Campaign and multiplayer will be able to play BF3.

NOTE 1: Don't forget to have the option "Start the game without browser add-ons" active.

NOTE 2: If after doing this process and at least two minutes have passed and you do not start the game, just close the browser and also "Origin" completely and reopen ORIGIN first and then search the browser again for "Battlelog" start section and ready, sometimes it has not started, but afterwards if it is left, they must let it load, that is why it is the "2 minutes" at least, it starts me at 5 or 10 seconds, but it is very relative so I leave better more time.

NOTE 3: The game should not be run by STEAM since the error will appear again, they must be done from the browser and if they are run by ORIGIN it sends them to the campaign directly but not to the multiplayer, so it is better that they go to the browser and from there select the mode you want to play.

Now if you are already recognized by STEAM when you run it from the browser (the game), but not after a moment of saying "STOP" happens to say "Play", go to the next point.
3) Same problem as the previous one with the difference that here if you try to load from STEAM or Origin but out of nowhere it.
If you did the above but your game tries to open but it closes out of the blue perhaps it is because of some file that is interfering, for example, when you open STEAM then ORIGIN then the browser to open battlelog, when you select a server or campaign mode, it appears "joining the server" in the multiplayer or "Initializing" in the campaign and you will quickly look in your STEAM library, you notice that after waiting a moment it says "STOP" you keep waiting because it seems that it is going to run, but no, then change from "STOP" to "Play" as if it had been closed, the possible solution would be the following:

-1) Close the browser, then the ORIGIN application.

-2) enter this link and follow the steps that are explained in the letter:

Delete Cache ORIGIN

If you got here and did all the steps right up here and without skipping any steps, it should already work for you. If for some reason it still doesn't work, go to point "5) Other possible solutions to various problems".
4) I can play the campaign, but when I try to play multiplayer, the "Punkbuster" sends me "KICK":
If it has already worked for you, it is likely that it has happened to you that the servers expel you saying that they have put you "BAN" that is to say they have banned you, do not panic this is a problem of PUNKBUSTER, unless you have used Cheats, Hacks or Mods If so, be careful because if you are banned it is PERMANENT, NEVER WILL BE TAKEN AWAY, The only way is to create a new account, buy the game again and start again from scratch, I recommend you never use this type of thing.

Well let's continue, if messages like these appear:

They can be solved, but if they come out like these:

It is not possible, since they are permanent and global BAN so you will not be able to enter any server this because of using some program or MOD, (sometimes it is the punkbuster that does this without you not having used anything, so if in your case, follow the following instructions).

-1) In the following link you will find different files depending on your OS:

Evenbalance [www.evenbalance.com]

Select the one that says "Windows 3.8 For: All Windows Games"

Note: You need a file decompressor 7zip, Winrar or probably others can serve you, I recommend Winrar, here is the link:

Winrar [www.win-rar.com]

In that link you can download the one for your operating system, just select if it is for 64bits or 32bits

-2) Once the file has been downloaded, we will unzip it with winrar or the preferred decompressor by right-clicking and selecting "Extract here".

-3) We will obtain 2 files, select the one called "pbsetup" which is the .exe and right-click on it and select the option "Run as Administrator"

A popup window will appear and we hit "yes".

Once there we give in "I Agree"

-4) We will get the following window and click on "Add a game"

-5) We will get the following window and click on "Game" and search for "Battlefield 3"

-6) In "Game Patch" you must select the directory where you have the game installed, to find out you must go to your STEAM library, search for your game, and right-click it, Select "Manage> See local files"

We click, copy the address and paste it into "Game Patch"

-7) Then we select in "Add game"

It starts updating, we wait for it to finish

And ready! Now you can start playing without being expelled!
5) Other possible solutions to various problems:
If for some reason points 2 and 3 did not work for you, what you can try is the following:

-1) Maybe it is blocking pop-up windows like the ones you can open within the game, such as the ORIGIN or STEAM menu while we play, so we need to disable one by one and see which one is causing the problem.

A- So first we will disable the ORIGIN one, we go to the ORIGIN application, then to the ORIGIN library, then we search for the game and right click and select "Game Properties"

And in it we disable the option "Activate origin in the game for Battlefield 3"

B- If it still does not work for you, we will disable the STEAM now, we will go to STEAM then to the library, then we will look for the game and in the right click and select "Properties"

The following will appear:

We must disable the option that says "Enable STEAM interface" should look like this:

Try to run the game again, but as explained in option "2) Problem" joining server "in multiplayer or" Initializing "in campaign or" Waiting to quit game "but infinitely."

If it still doesn't work for you, let's do the following.

-2) Go to the root of the game, as I said before, you go to your library, search for your game, right-click on the game, select "Manage> View local files".

-3) First select the file named "bf3.exe" and right click> properties "

A- Select the "Compatibility" tab
B- Activate the tab "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" and in the menu that scrolls select "Windows 7".

We do the same process also to the file called "BF3WebHelper.exe".

NOTE: If they have the option "Run this program as administrator" enabled in one or both of the programs that I mention, they must DISABLE it, because otherwise they will continue with the same problem.

5) If up to this point it has not worked for you what some say is that it is due to the execution of third parties such as MSI Afterburner / RTSS, Wallpaper Engine, Razer, Synapse, Rapr, Xfire, among others, the best thing is that you have them closed and more if you play in multiplayer to avoid "false positives" bans as I explained at the beginning and if you got here and you have those applications installed, you already know how to close or delete them so I will not explain that, what I recommend is that you are only using to the game, ORIGIN, STEAM and the browser and in the background the antivirus.
6) Acknowledgments:
I thank all the people who gave me their trust to access their computers or see their information to help them with the problem, because thanks to them this guide would not have many details, because many errors did not occur to me and the truth is grateful for your vote of confidence in me, although we are unknown, so I think that I as the community appreciate it.

Also to the following users:

CR0NUS
Nathan

That they shared their information about a problem they had and that they were able to fix it, which I did not know. Thank you very much in advance and enjoy your game. Greetings and see you soon.
7) Problems with the update of Windows 10 2004 or ANY previous step served you and the game does not work:
Note: If you got here and it did not work for you, first go to the section "9) Updates" and try the exposed points there, if it does not work for you, go back to this point.

If you had version 1909-1903-1809 or an older version and the Battlefield 3 game worked for you, but after you upgraded to version 2004 it doesn't work anymore, you have two solutions.

1) Uninstall the update, how to do it:

You go to start, right click> System

Then you select "start" again:

You go to the option folder called "Updates and security" you click:

Then in "View update history"

And in "Uninstall Updates"

A new window will open you must go down until you find the "Microsoft Windows" listing

And in that part you should look for the "Windows 10 Update, version 2004" you select it> Right Click and "Uninstall", this way the game will work again. (I do not have a photo because I have it updated in another way, the one that I will explain in the next point)
If you do not remember if you have the 2004 version, do the same steps, if you have updated Windows it will appear in that list.

Reinstall Windows 10:

Now if no step worked for you or in case you want to have Windows updated to version 2004 but the game also works, I have bad news for you: Windows 10 must be removed, formatted or reinstalled, and it does not help us. an old version, so you will have to go to the official page and get the latest version of Windows, I will leave you the link where you can download it:

Windows 10 v.2004[www.microsoft.com]

And we select "Download the tool now"

We start the newly downloaded application called "MediaCreationTool2004.exe", it will ask us to confirm access, we give "Yes":

We accept the terms and conditions, wait for it to finish loading and then choose the option "Create installation media (USB flash drive, DVD or ISO file) for another computer":

Choose the language you want> Windows> Architecture "Both":

You can choose "USB flash drive" and it will install the application on the USB to run it at once. In my case I prefer "ISO file" to be able to record the USB several times if I need it without the need to re-download the image to the USB.

A new window will open, we put the name we want and we give "Save"

We wait for it to finish and ready, now you must search the internet how to boot Windows 10 from a USB and how to format or reinstall Windows 10, by the way, to install Windows on the USB I recommend a program called "Rufus" you can search for how to use it on the internet too.

Once the reinstallation of Windows is finished, having downloaded all its drivers, we can install the game, so when opening the game we must take into account:

1) Have the same language in both STEAM and Battlelog.

2) Have windows like chat and other STEAM things closed as I said in the "Updates" section.

3) Start the game for the first time through Origin, hit "Play" to open the campaign or single player mode, if it opens it is a good sign.

4) If campaign mode worked for you, remember to have Firefox or Internet Explorer installed, even Opera says that it works, Chrome does not work, I recommend Firefox.

5) When you want to play multiplayer, remember to open the game from the browser on the "Battlelog" page, not from STEAM or ORIGIN, because if you do it from here it will block you.

6) If you made the error of opening it from STEAM, you must close the browser, Origin and STEAM completely, even in the task manager> details> OriginWebHelperService.exe you must hit "End task", If you already did, open the programs as follows, STEAM> ORIGIN> Browser or Battlelog, choose your server you want to join and that's it.

7) Enjoy your game: D

8) Evidence:
Campaign:

Multiplayer:

9) Updates:
Here I will leave new possible solutions that I find, if perhaps you have already seen or made all my guide and even if it does not work for you, in this section I will upload some more options.

Update 1.1 14/06/2020
I realized that if you have a second or more open window of the STEAM or Origin applications, it generates problems for you and will continue to "load infinitely", for example if you have STEAM and it has the open chat will block you I mean this one.

So, if you had this window open, you need to close it, close ORIGIN, close the browser and already having only the STEAM application open in the library window without pop-ups like the one I show you in the photo or in the chat, you can now if open ORIGIN but also make sure it's just the ORIGIN app, it doesn't have any chat windows open then the browser and run the game from the BATTLELOG page.

Update 1.2 15/06/2020
Thanks to a community user, I also contribute their possible solution which I think will also help.

If you have applications such as: Aorus engine, ASUS ROG CONNECT (This specifically can be by the BCLK) Utilities such as those of "MSI Afterburner" or MSI Dragon center, or applications of "EDGA" - "GIGABYTE" - "ASROCK", " LOGITECH "or others, you must disable automatic startup when starting Windows, that is, you will have to verify first that these applications have not been started.

To remove them from startup is very simple, open your "Task Manager" and then select "Start":

Select the program and right-click on it and "Disable":

must go from "Enabled" to "Disabled"

As you can see I always have only the least amount of programs started and when I need a specific one I activate it manually, when you have done this, you must restart your computer, verify that there is no additional program to those "just and necessary" to start our game , like STEAM and antivirus, consider that they are necessary, if you already verified and everything is fine retry to open the game as explained in point (2) Problem "joining the server" in the multiplayer or "Initializing" in the campaign or "Waiting to quit the game ").

As we realize, apparently those that are generating problems or conflicts are third-party programs, so you have to disable them or in the best cases eliminate them - Uninstall them.

NOTE: If it still does not work for you, you will have to UNINSTALL the files because the user told me that when I uninstall them, the game worked. And if it already works for you, just enable or install the programs you used one by one until you find which one gives you problems and if you find it, then uninstall or close it again. If you like, you can leave in the comments box which programs are the ones they gave you problems and in front you leave if you "closed" it or had to "uninstall it", thanks.

Update 1.3: 27/06/2020
New error that you notice and is possibly generating the conflict for you:

If when installing the game you installed it in your language, in this case "Spanish" (This will be the language you have chosen in STEAM) and in battlelog you have it with a different language from the one you chose in STEAM, perhaps that is the problem what is not running, let's say that in battlelog we have it in "English" in this case battlelog will not detect the game and will tell you the usual "Joining the server" infinitely.

First I will show the screenshots in which the game DOES NOT WORK, I will show you in which language I have the game installed on steam (in my case Spanish):

And in Battlelog in English:

As I said, if you have chosen a different language in Battlelog than the one you installed the game, IT WILL NOT WORK FOR YOU.

Here I will show you how it should look:

So it should be, if you have the game in STEAM in Spanish, you must put in Battlelog in SPANISH.

If you have the game in STEAM English you must verify that in Battlelog that it is also in English.
If you have it in Chinese language in STEAM, you must also have it in Chinese language in Battlelog.

If you don't know how to change the language in Battlelog, you should do the following:

Go to the Battlelog page, BF3, you start section:

Battlelog[battlelog.battlefield.com]

A) Go to your profile and left click.
B) A menu is displayed, you must select "Configuration".
C) Scroll down until you find the "language" option and choose the language in which you installed the game on STEAM.

I leave you an image:
