Heartbreaker Achievement - How to easily get it later in the game.

This guide shows you a very easy place to get the Heartbreaker achievement since the Handyman can't flank you. Also most other guides show you the first opportunity to get it - if you missed that & want to get all the achievements in one playthrough, this one's for you.

Method

There are a few chances to get this achievement earlier but if you don't, you can get it very easily just after entering the Engineering Deck of Comstock's airship...

• #1 Place some Shock Jockey traps to stun & stop foot-soldiers getting to you.
  
  
• #2 Edge upstairs into the room & pick off the first few foot-soldiers.
  
  
• #3 Move forward to trigger the Handyman's appearance then turn & run.
  
  
• #4 Go through the doorway & wait. The handyman can hit you but can't get through and, most importantly, can't flank you.
  
  
• #5 Aim just at the heart, nothing else.

It's important to stay just inside the door otherwise the Handyman will back off. If you take damage, you can back up but stay close to the entrance to keep him interested.

This was done on normal difficulty with a fully upgraded hand cannon. It's just after a checkpoint so restart and repeat until you get it. It's the easiest way to get what is possibly the hardest achievement in the game.

I got it at 1999 mode but not as you did. I have enabled the turretgun (the right one) and filled the right area (where you trigger the handyman) with electrotrap and then the handyman will jump on it and when he get shocked shoot with carbine (full upgraded) at his heart and keep walking around and keep place electrotraps.

Absolutely superb. As an added tip, I would suggest using upgraded Return To Sender (press) to avoid getting murdered on higher difficulties.

The Shock Jockey traps are also very useful at slowing down waves of enemies in the battle on top of the airship.
