Fix for black screen on start

Guide to fix black screen on start, were the game has a black screen and is unresponsive.
Should also fix black screen on Alt + Tab

This guide covers users who use MSI Afterburner with Riva Tuner installed.

Disable Burnout Paradise Remastered in RivaTuner

• Open MSI Afterburner and click on the settings button.
   
   
  
• (1) Goto the 'On-screen Display' tab
  
  (2) click the 'More' button.
   
   
  
• (1) Click the 'Add' button and navigate to your Burnout PR executable (BurnoutPR.exe), located in 'Steam\steamapps\common\BurnoutPR'.
  
  (2) Select the game in the list.
  
  (3) Select 'None' under 'Application detection level'
  
   
   
  
• You can now close the window and play the game ^_^

sorry but my MSI does not have *on screen display* and i have never installed rivatuner!!!! (cannot navigate to allow/disable BPR....)

yep thats the problem but i did all the things and it still crashes and i did the config.ini thing too all i heard at the 7th try was the menu music then it crashed

my game is just closing alone it starts with a black screen and it doesnt even make a error is this the problem?

Selecting custom direct 3D support also works, in case you'd like to use the performance overlay regardless.

Nope, not in this case.

but you are missing the missing config.ini file where the game doesn't come with one that's why you end up getting the black screen and the app not responding.
