How to get started on this kind of game
I know when a new person goes into a game like this where it's just two mouse buttons it doesn't seem like much, DO NOT be fooled players, this game may only be two buttons but the reflexes needed can vary depending on the game speed, if the speed is too high you'll get beaten to a bloody pulp in seconds, on the other hand if it's too slow, you may accidentally miss attacks from going too early.

This game also possesses enemies that will speed the fight up naturally, these little bastards can make or break your run in a heartbeat, adventure levels with exclamations on them are a warning these kinds of enemies show up in large numbers with a high kill count to that level, therefore by the time you get near the end, everyone's gonna be moving at bullet speed which can really suck if you're not used to the game quite yet, so how do you slow them down to SOME extent?

on your keyboard be it number pad or not, the keys for the -/_ and =/+ symbols, these keys also screw with the manual speed setting in the upper left corner of the screen, when you're starting out, it's highly recommended to run the lowest possible speed setting so you can get a feel for the game slowly, at the end of every level is a speed added or lowered depending on how well you do, if this starts getting you killed that's not a big deal, it's just trying to adjust enemy speed with how you're playing, but if you go dying in matches it'll lower the speed back down, this thing also changes the manual speed setting.

Take this picture for example, this is what a speed unit will look like in a fight, there's no real way to avoid them without either hitting them or taking damage and slowly dying, the best thing to do is if you hit one, just assume your bonus speed meter went up by 0.05, so instead of say an enemy getting to you in 2 seconds, it'll be a little sooner than that time, but if these guys stack up in a level, this bonus change can be harsh, at that point the only suggestion is to prepare for the worst.

Hell if you need caffeine to go super fast in a game like this, I strongly recommend that idea, if it doesn't help much, then you could very well just need more practice and playtime on this game.

Tis a simple fix, honest! :D
Types of enemies to watch out for
Even though I put in hundreds of hours into the first game of this series and now doing that slowly on this one as well, there are some enemy types that just suck to fight against, they typically show up way later in the adventure mode but can still sometimes appear a little earlier, when you do the tutorial it'll only cover a few of the tougher enemy types, but they hide the ones you actually fear as you play the game.

Normally during a fight you'll probably be used to seeing green and blue enemies, green ones as the tutorial explains take two hits, so think of green as double click that direction, blue is once in the direction they come from, then they switch to the other before you can kill them, so think of blue as one direction then the other right after it, but then there are some enemies that are worse from the usual pattern, these ones WILL get you killed quite a few times at the very least, even having played this game a lot before I still die to these two every now and then if I'm not paying attention...

YELLOW
and of course...
ORANGE
these two enemies will screw people over as they take 3 hits, but they are of opposite line ups on how the hits work, yellow enemies take 2 hits in the direction they come from, then one in the other direction, but orange enemies are the opposite of that, they take 1 hit from the direction they show up, then 2 the other way.

There are even more enemies the game hides from the tutorial that take 4 HITS to kill, or worse if you make it somehow to the last world of the game, one of these enemies is this little ♥♥♥♥
he's one of the enemies you will run into later on, there's another version of him that's the inverted line up of hits to kill, these kinds of enemies will most certainly get you killed at least once in a fight when you're still learning the game, but fret not friends! dying is just a part of this game, you'll die many times over, but with each death you can learn what the enemies are around you, in case you horribly missed a confusing enemy and he kills you, you can see what was left of his health that you missed back there, so next time you hit him you can slowly memorize what the pattern is to each color of enemy, if it takes many deaths having to play it very slow at first, by all means that's fine, for some it's better to watch slowly to memorize patterns with colors, others somehow can adapt on the fly like it's nothing.
THE GAME MODES
There are many game modes the adventure map will have in store for us all, these maps can be rough to play in, and sometimes require many retries and the will to keep going forward with every death, some modes understandably can make a person wanna break their keyboard, mouse, or the whole computer for all I know with how some rage at games.

First up, MOB ROUND!
this round type is the EASIEST of the entire game, you simply are put against a lot of enemies, you can take 10 hits in total, and you just need to kill every enemy that comes at you, these rounds may sometimes be rough as they can pit you against hundreds of enemies all at once, but as you practice more on this game, you'll get used to handling large kill counts as you go!

Next up, GHOST GHOST
this mode is probably one of the much harder types in the game, you're character and you're attack lines are completely hidden from the screen, you have to remember how far you can normally attack to hit the enemies that come at you, you may die quite a few times on this mode to get used to it.

Next up, DEADLY TARGET
unlike the other modes, this one will randomly mark enemies with a crosshair, these targets are the only kills that count, otherwise the fight will be endless, the only way to kill these enemies is with ranged weapons, daggers, shurikens, bows, or even guns of various kinds, you just need to kill these targets with such weapons to progress the fight, sometimes the game will be a cheeky little ♥♥♥♥ and put them behind a normal enemy with no ranged weapon, or odd numbers of ranged weapon users, you may accidentally kill them in the wrong order and not kill the marked enemy with a ranged weapon, it's fine if you don't, just expect the match to keep going till you get all the kills.

Next up, BLADE STORM
this mode can be a little rough, but this can also be good, this mode launches all the ranged projectiles at you in the game, you must defeat them all...or you'll be riddled with arrows, daggers, or even shurikens, you will NEVER see bullets in this mode, so don't hope to become James Bond with a handgun or something, the projectiles are fairly easy to remember, yellow are blocked, they go out like any normal enemy, green are ones you catch, and can throw in either direction freely, ammo skills may get applied during these moments, blue are deflected back the way they came at you, and purple are dodged and sent through the other side of the screen from where they came at you, but be careful as higher game speeds cause these projectiles to scream at you at mach 7 pace at least, it can be rough.

Next up, MULTI ROUND
this match type is easy, similar to mob round you just need to kill the enemies, it'll put you into a field of enemies, generally of small numbers so it's quick to go through, UNLIKE MOB ROUND HOWEVER this mode will secretly boost the enemy move speed a bunch as each round is progressed, the enemy line up is supposedly the exact same each time, but sometimes I feel like some enemies get moved around between rounds, maybe a hidden thing to fool you into taking a hit if you don't watch closely, I'm not sure, the speed can get insane to a point of hitting mach 7 on the enemies, normally brawlers or bosses won't show up during these rounds, but there have been rare encounters from what I've seen, be ready for the game to try and screw you over with the move speed on this mode.

Next up, WING CHUN
probably the toughest mode in this entire game, you have your attack bars halved in range, making encounters god awful close to hitting you, enemy move speed will get increased as speed enemies will show up here, as well as colored enemies, you will most likely die a whole lot here as I did being introduced to this mode.

Next up, ACCELERATION
The red glowing eyes for the picture upon entering this mode, really do fit how it feels on this awful place, speed increases as you play through the level, and you CANNOT take a hit, you have to basically perfect run this mode with no misses preferably to make it outta here, thankfully I've only seen 2 of this level type at the end of the game, tucked around the map...but they still exsist, and there's no telling if this mode type is in survival or the new gauntlet mode, I'm assuming they are.

Next up, DEATH ZONE
this mode is a rougher one in the list, this mode puts you in a space with spiked walls around you, DO NOT under any circumstances touch these ways, even the game tells you to avoid them, your misses will be like dash steps, but one wrong move of that and you'll dash right into an enemy's fist to your face, there's not much to suggest for this one other than do whatever you can to space enemies out enough so you don't get too close to the walls.

Next up, POWER WEAPON
This mode has two versions, one is the chainsaw, it's a simple kill everyone while holding a weapon that'll never deplete like normal, this mode type is very straight forward, just like mob round and multi round, the other version is the "light sword" as it was called, now the power sword in this game, basically a light saber version of the power weapon type, these modes will have brawlers and bosses of varying difficulties try to kill you, as well as speed enemies.

Next up, HORROR SHOW
this mode is kinda odd to do, it's similar to the old school mode from the first game where you had to hit enemies into the map props to get kills technically, but this mode it's props that gruesomely rip apart enemies that are killed and hit into these things, it's actually sickening to watch a few of them, this mode works just like the deadly target, where you have to get kills in a certain way to actually progress the match, otherwise it's endless.

Next up, PERFECTION
this god awful mode would probably make you wish you were dead sometimes, this mode's rules are that you CANNOT miss, otherwise it'll kill you on the spot, you will get all kinds of enemies, even rare encounters of "unknowns" in a fight, unknown enemies are hell because the pattern can be anything, but the symbols underneath are just hidden by a question mark icon below them, you have to go by gut feeling as you fight them, FIGHT THEM SLOW IF YOU HAVE TO.

Next up, DEATH BALL ROUND
THE MOST brain dead level type in the game, this mode will drop a bunch of death balls, or even 1 of them to start, you just have to hit these into the enemies around you, how is it brain dead though?
It's simple, just let a few of these things go on both sides of your screen, then literally button mash the directions to keep them hitting enemies, they never break, they never de-spawn when off screen, and they're always able to be hit regardless of distance from them, your attack bars will always be lit up when these things can be hit, they say don't button mash, but this mode just lives for the button mash.

the last type of mode of this list can be anything, typically tucked in corners, there will be stages wit ! symbols floating around them, these are the levels I mentioned will spam speed enemies and large kill counts, it can be any mode type in the list so be ready for some high speed combat.
Credits
That pretty much covers enough of the basics to get people started, the rest from there is practicing the game over and over, dying countless amounts of times, maybe even raging a few times till you get the hang of it.

I made this guide for exactly as the text described at the very top of this whole thing, I hope people can enjoy this awesome series for what it's worth!

If there's anything I missed in this guide feel free to leave a comment, good luck little padawans! :D

Ah this is more playstyle preference, with skills for the one hit kill weapons it just makes them more frequent to spawn, thankfully with this game skills are much easier to deal with than before, no matter what you do the end of the game will result in all skills being maxed out, but if you're still progressing toward such I'd say just max out the skills you enjoy using, a single gem in each skill should make everything activate even if very slow to see it happen, hope this helps for you

do you have any recommendations what skils to for first ?
Also what does lasersword skill do ? It still does one hit damage, does it come more often ?
thanks in advance

In the last two areas of the map, two new modes appear that aren't covered here:

DRUNKEN MASTER: Identical to Mob Round, but your attack bars move left and right. Not difficult to adjust to.

SAW BLADE ROUND: Misses don't count, but as you fight Saw Blades randomly fall from the top of the screen. Touching one kills you instantly. A bit tricky to get the hang of avoiding them but it's pretty easy.
