Creating a level

Creating a playable level with proper difficulty is hard.
With no experience, you will have a hard time creating patterns.
Knowing how to make patterns makes creating levels much easier.

If anyone has an idea, please let me know.

• Keep each patterns short and use as many patterns/Objects as possible.
  
• Use multiple patterns in one scene.
  
• Bullet speed is very important in terms of playability.
  If you have lots of bullets, keep the speed slow.
  
• Choose what type of pattern you want to use, combine it, and modify it.
  
• Create movements for some bullet spawners.

Circular

The very basic pattern.
Spawns bullets in a circular way.



Spawn while rotating, and have another same pattern rotate the other way.
Can be further configured like this
Ex)Each bullet's direction changes 90 degrees after 0.6sec while decelerating.
















Delete some bullet in the circle, and leave that zone as a safe point
Ex)Bullets stop after 1.2 sec
















Every bullet has a different speed
Rotate it in the right direction

Configure the settings and you can make various patterns

2 Way

Another basic pattern.
The pattern spawns bullets in 2 ways and spin slowly.
Useful for forcing the player to move around the center.
Ex)The bullet decelerates, and then accelerates

Polygons

Use this panel to create a regular polygon or a circle.

Burst

Not sure if I should call this a pattern, but it is very commonly seen on games.

The bullet decelerates after spawning with high speed.

Random shot

Set the bullet's accuracy below 100 to make a random shot.
With "Aim Player" setting.

Aimed shot

Check the "Aim Player" option.

Set Move Angle 20, -20 for each bullet.
The bullet aims above, below 20 degrees.

Spawner

8 Bullets move in the same angle.
After 0.6 sec, each bullet moves in different angles.

Spray

Random shot.
Rotating Pattern with "Spawn Point" far from the center.

Curtain

I can't figure out what to call this.
Curved

Trap

Limit the play field.
