Installation

To install the texture overhaul follow the steps that are in the zip archive. I personally use Steam and Texmod.

To install the Reshade and preset, the process is very simple. Open the Reshade exe and select Assassin's Creed DX10. Proceed with the default installation under "DirectX 10/11/12". Launch the game to verify installation. Next simply drag and drop the "Revelations.ini" from the preset download into the root game directory, then move "UIMask.png" to "Assassin's Creed\reshade-shaders\Textures".

When you next load the game, press the default key to open the Reshade GUI (currently the "Home" key) and access the various options. At the top you will see a blue bar, probably saying "Reshade.ini" or something similar. Click it to open a dropdown list, and click the "Revelations.ini" to select the preset.

You can now play the game and enjoy a full AC:R replacement.
