HOW TO REDEEM 'FAR CRY 3 - DELUXE EDITION ADD-ON'

After searching on the internet for hours how to redeem my DLC, I decided to find out myself, and this is what I found out.

I finally found out by myself how to redeem the Deluxe Edition Add - on DLC. When I bought the DLC, I didn't get any code and I'm guessing most of you didn't get one either. So what you do is go to 'Library' in Steam, right click on 'Far Cry 3', press 'View CD key', then you should have 2 different codes. You should have your normal code for the slandered edition, and you should now have your new code for the DLC. (*WARNING* Copying and Pasting does not work in Far Cry 3!) So now you take the code and you launch Far Cry 3. Once that is done you click on 'Options' in the home screen, then 'Exclusive Content, and press 'Ok' when it tells you, you can only put in this code once. You then finally put in your code and you're done!

where exactly is the dlc in the game? i think i have it all installed before that stupid online server removal.

For anyone in 2023 trying this, unfortunately it's not possible. Servers for Far Cry 3 were shut down in 2022 and makes it impossible to access the DLC. RIP

Just to be sure, once it's activated, I can uninstall the game and it will still be activated the next time I install it right ?

Obviously this guide was 9 years ago, and the DLC is shutting down in a month, but I was trying to play Far Cry 3 before the DLC shut down and couldn't figure out why I actually couldn't get to the DLC mission.

Go to uplay its way easier using uplay

@Xcronias75 and everybody else: go to ubisoft connect -> click on your avatar -> account information -> my games -> click on far cry 3 -> show key -> copy and paste on the game like the guide says

The "view CD Key option" in not rpesent in the steam client any fix for that?
