Hell Overhaul

Açıklama
Change up the high end of the difficulty scale with 8 new Hell Passes! Enjoy new difficulty levels, all the way up to 20. This mod is recommended to anyone who plays with Hell Pass 11 or above.

Highlights:
* Good hostages survive! Now both good and evil hostages appear. If you missed saving hostages, you'll enjoy this mod.
* At 14, enemies attack more quickly in crowded rooms! This preserves a feel closer to the 1.0 release of One Step From Eden, in which rooms filled with enemies were extremely dangerous.
* No more "1 max HP" effect. Instead, there's a new penalty at the highest level, which is less severe early but bites harder later in the game.

Hell Overhaul uses your existing unlock progression, so you won't have to start from 0 again.

For detailed documentation on all the effects, check out the mod on GitHub.

cheese strat: install the mod 16 times so that every room has an undodgeable amount of nurses, allowing you to not worry about dodging the poison and immobilize all the enemies

3 evil hostages... it's horrifying to imagine. At the maximum difficulty, this mod is probably harder than the base game's maximum difficulty, but the earlier hell passes should be easier than the base game's hell pass 13, so they should be enjoyable even if you find that level too difficult.

There are definitely not supposed to be 3 evil hostages. If you install the mod multiple times, you will see bizarre things. Be sure to only install it once, then you should only see the one evil hostage.

I do like the idea of more difficulty in the lategame, but... Are there supposed to be 3 evil hostages in every single room? As far as I've gotten (i.e. dying at the first boss), there's been more evil hostages than normal enemies. In conjunction with the faster enemy attack this gets out of hand very quickly, and even the cheesiest strats that would work in HM14 stop working at that point.
