Walkthrough

This guide is just a brief description of what to do for each achievement. I don't intend on writing a walkthrough. If you are stuck in a level, refer to these wonderful video guides by lapinkiller45 <<AD>>.

Achievements

I include the first level in which an achievement can be unlocked, but most (if not all) can be unlocked on multiple levels.

Note: A "state" is the position (and colors) of the characters relative to other characters and the platform they're standing on.
For example, if a level was 2 platforms joined by a bridge these would all be different states

• RYB -- 0
  
• RY -- B
  
• R -- YB
  
• Y -- RB
  
• B -- RY
  
• 0 -- RYB

and that's before even considering merging colors. This simple example already has more states than I can calculate lol

Confused
• reach the initial state of a chapter after changing it 25 times
  
  
  Act 1, Level 1
  This achievement can simply be by crossing back and forth on the bridge in the first level. Presumably you would need to do it 25 times (to return to the "initial state"), but it unlocked for me after crossing 24 times.

Indecisive
• Select various characters at least five times in a row without ever moving one of them
  
  
  Act 1, Level 2
  Simply switch the red and blue characters five times without making them move from their starting position.

Prescient
• Solve two chapters without activating an obstacle
  
  
  Act 1, Level 2
  An "obstacle" triggers when you cross a bridge with a non-matching colour character. There are more obstacles later, but only bridge colours matter for this level.
  There was no way to fail the first level, so finish this level without taking any character across the wrong bridge for the achievement.

Stubborn
• Trigger the same obstacle at least three times
  
  
  Act 1, Level 3
  As mentioned before, crossing a bridge with a non-matching colour character triggers an obstacle. Repeat this three times on the same bridge. This was possible on level 2, but wasn't mentioned because of Prescient.

Impatient
• stop a character from walking by activating a bridge in its path
  
  
  Act 1, Level 3
  "Activating a bridge" means triggering it so it opens.
  Position a wrong colour character next to a bridge, and a matching colour character further back.
  Then simply direct a the matching colour character to cross and quickly direct the wrong colour character to cross as well just as the former one approaches.

Cooperative
• pass any kind of obstacle with two characters simultaneously
  
  
  Act 1, Level 3
  Purple can cross both red and blue bridges. So simply direct two characters to cross a bridge at the same time. I'm not sure if they must cross from opposite directions, but they did when I unlocked the achievement.

Venturesome
• pass all obstacles in a single chapter of Act 2 at least twice
  
  
  Act 2, Level 10
  Another weird achievement. Direct the purple character to the bottom left of the level, then the bottom right to unlock the achievement. Technically we haven't crossed every bridge twice, but the achievement unlocks anyway.

Ambitious
• reach 60 different states in a single chapter
  
  
  Act 3, Level 13
  (Thanks to Lylat for clarifying states and figuring out that this only starts working on levels where you can combine colours.)
  You need to reach 60 different states in a chapter, but it can be done on a single level. Rather than giving step-by-step instructions which would fill an entire page, I've created a simple map with 65 (of many) different states in this level.
  The achievement should pop immediately on moving into the 60th state. I believe this needs to be done in a single session as the counter resets on game close.

Annoying
• deactivate the snail bridge right before a character is about to cross it
  
  
  Act 4, Level 17
  Snail bridges are first introduced in level 17. Place one character on the white button to extend the bridge and then another to cross it. Just as the second character is about to cross, move the first off the button. If the timing is too tight on level 17, try again in level 18 as there's much more space to move around.

Sensual
• activate a colour swapper five times with the same character
  
  
  Act 5, Level 22
  These contraptions are first introduced in Act 5. The rest is self explanatory.

Colourful
• paint a single character in all primary colours
  
  
  Act 5, Level 25
  Easiest on level 25 as your character starts next to three primary colour swappers. Simply use all three with the same character.

Playful
• switch direction on the beetle bridge ten times without leaving the bridge (inspired by Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2)
  
  Act 6, Level 29
  This one requires quick and precise clicking.
  Move the blue character next to the beetle bridge and have it begin to cross to the other side. Before it even steps off the bridge, immediately make it turn back. Repeat this ten times in a row without having the blue character step off the beetle bridge to unlock the achievement.

Resilient
• Complete the game
  
  
  Act 8, Level 40
  Unlocks on finishing the last level.

I suspect that the Ambitious achievement is randomly dropped, because according to the theory in the article, there are at least 65 states in level 13, but I have tried this level a total of 4 times and still cannot drop this achievement.
