Reason to do a clean slate restart
Sometimes games can carry over parts of previous saves, or settings, which would interfere with a new game. Especially with early access games & major updates. For this reason these procedures outlined in this guide will make sure that there is nothing that carries over from previous saves of the game.

NOTE: This will completely wipe out any saves that you may have a desire to use at a later date. For those saved games that you desire to retain, make a backup prior to completing the steps in this guide. Check out the section of what files to retain & how to make backups.
Step 1: Uninstall the game
Uninstall the game in Steam.
  1. Right-click on the game's name in Steam.
  2. Select Manage
  3. Next select Uninstall

  4. Verify that you want to uninstall, then click on the button

This game will remain in your Games Library, but to play it again, you will need to first redownload all of its contents. This step will be done after all the games files have been cleared from your computer.
Step 2: Deleting the Save folder
This step will delete the saved games for Lumberjacks Dynasty.

NOTE: If you desire to create backups of some of your saves, do this prior to following the the procedures outlined here. See below, which files to backup for those saves.

    • Caution If desire to create backups, follow the steps outlined below first!

    Backing up your game saves
In the Save folder is the various saves.

There are 8 files for each game save. The files are all named "save#.xxx". The number denotes the saves number (zero 0 thru nine 9). Here is an example of save game 0 files (or the 1st save slot):
    1. save0.blk (BLK File)
    2. save0.fld (FLD File)
    3. save0.grd (GRD File)
    4. save0.lgs (LGS File)
    5. save0 (MTS File)
    6. save0 (SAV File)
    7. save0.sks (SKS File)
    8. save0.trn (TRN File)
Copy these save files to a safe location. Later they can be replaced back into the Save folder to resume playing that save.

Note: You can change the number following the word "save" in the above files if you don't want to overwrite the save files in that number position. Just make sure that all the above eight files have the same number.

NOTE 2:The whole Save folder may be a good thing to archive, if having bugs or issues. This folder could be sent to Toplitz support - along with dxdiag, & other information.

How do I find the ID for a game on Steam?
    https://gaming.stackexchange.com/questions/149837/how-do-i-find-the-id-for-a-game-on-steam
    1. Every game on Steam has a different Game ID (also known as App ID). For instance, looking on my own computer, Portal has an ID of 400, and FTL: Faster Than Light is 212680.
      Q. How do I find this ID for a specific game on Steam?
    2. Go to the game's store page and check the URL. The last number in the URL is the application ID. All the store URLs are in format store.steampowered.com/app/APPID, so for Wasteland 2, the URL is http://store.steampowered.com/app/240760/, and appID 240760.
      store.steampowered.com/app/240760/
    3. Another reliable way is to search for the program on steamdb, which will show you the info for games removed from the store as well. The appid is clearly labeled in the search results.
Step 4: Finishing it all
  1. Restart computer
  2. Open Steam & reinstall the game
  3. Once installed you can start a whole new game save

NOTE: Disable Steam Cloud when doing this method, else the problem could be reinstalled by the Cloud when you restart.

This is extremely helpful. I hadn't considered the appdata ( I'm old, bite me). I'll get my discord thingy going, too. And, yeah, Steve Irwin "I'm a bug hunter, me!"
