What you need?
1. A weapon/spells to fight minor enemies on the way. Or enough speed to outrun them.
2. A way to unlock a 50 pts locked door. Either:
a) A Lockpick and high Security skill.
b) Ondusi's Open Door spell and enough Alteration skill to cast it. (Spell can be bought from various Mages Guild spell merchants.)
c) Scroll of Ondusi's Unhinging. (Appears randomly on merchants that sell scrolls.)

Warning: If you are just starting out and wish to find out these sort of things yourself, then maybe avoid this. But it is fairly difficult to do this accidentally, without knowing about it.

Alright, this is fairly simple and straightforward. (But if you prefer a video, watch it above.)

Part 1.

Start in Balmora, then go south - past the Silt Strider. Continue west and follow the river until you come across a bridge. Shulk Egg Mine should be to the north of that bridge.

Cross the bridge. Ignore the path and instead go to the south-east until you reach the Vassir-Didanat Cave. Here's a map in case the instruction so far has been unclear.

Entrance to Vassir-Didanat Cave

Alright. Now, all you have to is enter Wassir-Didanat Cave, then exit. There are a bunch of atronachs in there that would be dangerous for a low level player, but even if they are right next to the entrance, remember: you only need to enter & exit.

This will add the "Vassir-Didanat Mine" topic to your Journal.

Part 2.

Your next destination is Vivec. Go back to Balmora. (If you have a scroll/spell/item with Almsivi Intervention, you can cast that and get there immediately.) Then go to Balmora Mages Guild and get to lower level and find the guild guide, then travel to Vivec. You can also use the Silt Strider instead.

Though, going through the Mages Guild gives you a good opportunity to get some way to unlock 50 pts locks - which will be needed later. Either try to find a "Scroll of Ondusi's Unhinging" from Mages Guild merchants that sell scrolls or the spell "Ondusi's Open Door" if your Alteration is high enough or use a Lockpick if your Security skill is high.

Anyway, go to Vivec, then Vivec St. Olms Canton.

Whether you came from Silt Strider or Guild Guide, you can use Almsivi Intervention to get nearer - you will be placed to the High Fane canton just south of St. Olms & St. Delyn.

What you are looking for is the Haunted Mansion in the St. Olms plaza.

Go into the Haunted Mansion. After this, there'll be a 50 pts locked door. You need some way to unlock this.

After this just find Dram Bero and talk to him about "Vassir-Didanat Mine" and he'll give you a choice of which daedric weapon to get.

Weapon choices

Those translate to:
Axe -> Daedric Battleaxe
Blunt -> Daedric Staff
Longblade -> Daedric Katana
Bows -> Daedric Longbow
Shortblade -> Daedric Wakizashi
Spear -> Daedric Spear

The Daedric Longbow is the rarest of the lot because Dremora do not drop it.
End
I hope this guide has been helpful to you. If anything is unclear or anything, leave a comment.

Please let me know if there's something in particular you are looking for and I might write a guide for it and/or make a video.

Also, please note that I have a youtube channel almost entirely focused on Morrowind, so if you are looking for something specific, you might already find it there. (channel: https://www.youtube.com/c/Imperatia/ )

If you go to the place where they have the dungeon full of corpus monsters, there is an amulet in a chest near by the guy who heals you. It will take you to a boss that drops a decent weapon that can paralyze as well as being able to deal a massive amount of damage.

I was able to defeat him at level one by abusing the save function. Just beware that at low levels, he will one hit you. Also take caution if you set it down somewhere. Somehow on my current play through I lost it and there isn't a way to get it back.

just remember daedric weapons are VERY fucking heavy, this is a tolerable problem late game but when you are level one with your 200 strength even a waraxe is 72 pounds!

Counterpoint: bound weapons. They don't weigh you down.
That said, this guide's about a weapon you can enchant, so this is still great to know!

For those interested, there is another way to get 2 daedric weapons even more quickly, but it (probably) requires a non-level 1 character. In Vivec, in one of the canton's underworks there is a corpse/skeleton which has a deadric dagger on it. This corpse is guarded by a single ghost. Furthermore, in one of the other canton's underworks is a daedra shrine with several relatively tough enemies, one of whom has a daedric longsword you can loot. The latter did require a lot of potion drinking and scroll using for me to beat though

This is neat, did not know of this one. If I want to speedup getting stronger I just roll serpent power, go to Mournhold and partake in the public theater quest where you get attacked by a dunmer with daedric wakizashi. One successful paralysis and he's done, since he can resist.

I've used this for nearly a decade and there is another part to the advice, you should leave a teleport mark to the mine. You will thank me later.
