How to finish the game, get all endings, all achievements and most secrets in the game. I just wanted to find a guide to get all the achievements, but since no one has made it i decided to do it myself. And there's also a small section about some of the theories I came up with after analizing the game.

From the beginning to the end
After a bit of an introduction, we find our main heroine in front of a locked door. Oh! What a tragedy
It may be hard, I know, but I'm sure you can figure out how to defeat this fearsome foe.
Interact with the door, interact with your scooter, open the door with the bolt cutter, interact with the scooter again to leave the cutter there
Once you're in the yard take your time while walking to the building to enjoy the beautiful atmostfere and our heroine's happy face.
She won't be this happy for long Just look at that beautiful smug face. Don't tell me you don't wanna be stepped on and verbally abused by a girl with this face.
Once you're inside, the first thing you wanna do is save, and the second is to go back to the exit door. also pick up the camcorder tape you've got right next to you if you have the time Exhaust your dialogue with the exit door. After 4 interactions you'll start getting some triple dots, but keep going. After a random number of interactions you'll get the choice to leave. Leave and keep going down the path until the end. It may take you around 8 screens worth of walking, but as a youtuber our heroine will definitely get a lot of benefit from this exercise.
Congratulations, you've beaten the game and gotten an achievement. Give yourself a pat on the back and go play something less spooky.
Friendship is magic
What? You still want more? Alright then, let's continue.
There is an achievement called recording which you'll get after saving several times. You'll eventually get it just by playing the game so don't think about it.
Your next great challenge is... another locked door! Oh no! How are you going to get past this? Interact with the drawer in the room to get the key.
Before leaving interact with the drawer from it's right side to see a hidden tape. You can't take it yet, but make sure you don't forget it's location because we'll come back for it.

Feel free to explore a bit and you'll eventually end up against this third great challenge that is another door you can't open.

Just go back to the previous room and interact with the fireplace to get a wooden stick.
After some more exploration you'll end up here. I'm gonna assume you don't need me to tell you how to get here(almost all the other doors are closed and the opened ones are dead ends). But you should memorize well how to go back.

Read the book and meet your new best friend. Make sure to save cause It's time for the chase. Run all the way back up. And after the long creepy corridor go to the right through all the rooms until the chase ends. A bit after that you'll get a few choices, you should ask "Am i stuck here?" and then don't give him chocolate.
And now you're here.

Get the glowy thing which is a key. In the room to your right you'll find a camcorder tape. Oh no! Now you can't go back where you came from because those evil barrels have reset Pewds was right in hating them. Go explore through the left door. You'll end up seeing another glowy glowy thingy and another camcorder in the room left to the thingy. Interact with the table next to the glowy screwdriver to open up the path. And we're back here.

I'm sure you're itching to go to the basement and use the key you just got, but before that, remember the camcorder tape behind the drawer in the first room? Go get it with the screwdriver. It's not a regular camcorder tape. Once you have it go back to the basement and use the key on the following door.

Use your screwdriver on this panel. You can also find another tape in the fridge you see at the right. Also make sure you examine the computer to get a note with a code you'll need in the far future.

You get another key. Go back to the room to your left and use it to open the door at the bottom.

There are three things to note in this room. First, the closet as a possible hiding spot. Second, the panel in which you'll need to solve a small puzzle to advance. Third, when you walk to the panel one of the lockers will burst open, examine it to get a recorder which you can use to listen to the special camcorder audios. Select the recorder in your inventory and then select the tape you wanna listen to. Now back to the puzzle. The answer is counting from top to bottom: second switch, third, fourth and fifth After you complete it.
As you just saw, our friend is coming to pay us a visit, so make sure you save. He'll appear right after you leave this room. Just run back and hide in the closet.

After all that's done, go to the new area you unlocked. After exploring a bit you'll find a very dark room which we'll visit in the future, and you'll also go back to the dark but not so dark room where you first hid from our friend. There is a door to the right of that room which will get you here.

Take the axe, and if you explore through the bottom door you'll find a couple of items.
Like a dream
There are a couple of thing we can do with this axe. First let's get an achievement. Go to the basement and open this door with the axe. Save.

Inside the room interact in this spot.

Stuff will happen. If you want to get out and earn the achievement spam the statue from one side until it moves out of the way. Otherwise just have fun.

Go back to this room and go through the left door to find a tape.

Open the closet with your axe to get another tape. Go to this room, up the stairs and use your axe to open the path.

Jump through the window. Do it!

This is the audio tape 3, but don't worry, we'll get the audio tape 2 very soon. Also, since you're down here, you can go back to where we first met our friend with a knife and enter the now unlocked room to get another tape. Now let's go all the way back up, to the room from where we jumped. You can find another tape in the room to the left. Something optional: in the room to the left you can find some candles and try to use them in the dark room to witness a small event, but eventually you'll just have to come back here.
Now let's just advance by going to the room of the right.
When asked, answer "you said you'd take care of it" I think the next choice doesnt affect the game, but just in case say the same thing i did "the disappearance case?" and finally ask "why?"You can take a nap in the bed(so far I haven't found any consecuences in doing so) and read the notes. There are two things you must not miss. First the obvious glowy glowy thing. You should be able to figure out how to get it by yourself Just push the small chair and use it as a platform. Don't go back to the dark room just yet. In the upright corner of the room there's a panel which you can take out with your screwdriver. Good luck have fun.

After a few very fun events you'll end up here. Examine this exact spot to find the audio tape 2. After this it's finally time to go to the dark room.

To advance you must push the drawer from the side and also complete a small puzzle in the panel you see to the left. The answer is from left to right, the second and fourth switch

You'll end up finding a big gap in the floor. Examine it and go all the way back to the library(where you found the audio tape 2) to get the wooden plank Are wa... onee-san?. Use it to proceed further and deeper into this hell.
Yay more nightmares!
Aftwer using the plank and exploring a bit you'll end up in this room. You can find a tape if you look behind the curtain thing. If you examine this exact spot you'll find another panel which you can open.

You'll end up in the toilet, which should give you another achievement. However for some reason the game didn't give me the achievement the first time, but then I died without saving and went to the toilet "for the first time" again, then it gave me the achievement.
To advance you need yet another key. If you need help finding it: In the room at your left there is a drawer which you can push to find a safe that requieres a password. Tip: You can find a tip for the pasword by reading the books in this room and the books in the room below this one. The password is0820

In the next room you have another electric puzzle, but you need to turn on the energy first, and for that you need a passcode. Can you figure it out? 315. The note from the computer we got a million years ago. And now the puzzle... This puzzle is a real pain to figure out and solve the smart way. So just randomly press the switches until all the lights except the upmost left are on green(because it's impossible to have all of them green at the same time and the upmost left is the most irrelevant one). The downmost right can be either green or red, it doesn't matter.
After you are done it's time to go back to this room and use the elevator. You may pay a visit to our tied friend if you want, but make sure to save first.

Lift up the chair and move it out of the way. Wait a second, the elevator doesn't work? Hmm, what to do...? Push the chair inside the elevator and place it on the black spot to use it as a platform. Enjoy.
Once you're done with that interact with the corpse to kick it out and push the chair out of the elevator as well. Now you can finally go deeper underground, yay!
It just get's creepier doesn't it?
Once you are out of the elevator go through the left room and after reading the note make sure you save.
A few events later you get the task to look for a couple of items. And now there's a bunch of creepy statues around blocking some doors. To get the ritual thread: Go to the basement. The thread is in this room in this place:

Also, wanna have some fun? Go here and get the camcorder tape inside this room. Wanna have even more fun? Come back to this door again. Make sure you save. It will tell you the doorknob is broken, but if you insist enough you'll eventually get in. Let's go and get the candles now. Go up the stairs. back to this room. Inspect the box. The candles are in the room at the left.

And finally, for the red spider lily. Go back to the room in the upper picture. And now go to the room that's down. You'll need a password, can you guess it? HOTH
You'll end up here.

The lilies are on the table. Inspect this plant to get a herb along with an achievement. And also inspect one of the windows, any window will do. You can also find some marijuana in this room, but sadly you can't use it to get a happy time in this hell. Now we have everything, it's time to go all the way back down. After you get out of the elevator, save one more time. In the room below the elevator you can find two tapes. Several more events will happen. We'll talk again after you complete them all. If you find yourself stuck in a certain long corridor with three doors:The statue might actually be your friend. Want the answer?:Left door, right door, left door.
Just a little bit more traumas and we're done... maybe
Have you managed to get up to this point? Good job. Give yourself another pat in the back. You can't go trough the darkest dungeon room in the right yet. Go through the door and open yet another panel in the upleft part of the room to advance.

A bit of light, yay. Get the glowy glowy thingy. Look at youself in the mirror. Then in the opposite side of the room there is a cool picture which you can examine. Also examine the bookselves to find another safe. The password is0315

Once you are ready to advance go though the right, to the darkest room. Go all the way to the right and keep going through the doors to the right until you get to another event. Now we have the key for this room. The fuse is in the drawer, and there is a tape in the left dead end of the room.

Where to put the fuse? Go back here and go all the way down. You can pay a small visit to the room up if you want, but you wont find much there.

Yet another electric puzzle, alrighty. From left to right, third switch, first switch, fourth switch, second switch. If you go back to the room where that suspiciously familiar stranger was, you'll find two tapes, a chocolate bar and the monster's carcass. The chalice is in the room up here.

Now we have everything we need. Make sure you save. Are you ready?
Now it's just a matter of trying all the possible options to get all the different endings. I would recomment to first just do as the stranger says until the end to get one of the endings. To get the next ending just choose "think a little more", and if you don't have this option in one of the choices then it means you haven't been properly following my instructions throughout the guide, so you need to replay the whole game. After you do this, some stuff will happen and you'll end up having to press X, don't press it for this ending. Next ending, press the X, and after you've defeated yourself, just leave the room without completing the ritual. Next ending complete the ritual cutting someone else's finger, and for the final ending complete the ritual cutting your own finger.

Theorization
This is just a small section to share my thoughs and some theories I have about the game as a whole. This is all 100% spoiler, so don't read it until you've completed the game and all of it's endings.
The cult and the curse
This doesn't look like a very complicated matter. A cult started doing sacrifices to "god" but it seems they didn't really know what they were doing as evidenced by the cult leader's journal.
So they ended up giving power to something pretty dark and dangerous, maybe a demon, maybe a multi-dimensional lovecraftian horror, who knows. And that thing took over the whole place and it's surroundings, creating the whole curse thing.
The schrödinger mindf*ck
Until you open the box, you don't know if the cat is dead or alive, and actually the cat is both dead and alive at the same time. The box is the whole curse which is not only the building, but also it's surroundings (that's why even if you get out of the building at the start of the game, you're still screwed as you've already entered the curse). What does this mean? Our main protagonist is at the same time dead, alive, has lost her mind and is killing other versions of herself, is half-sane and it's trying to trick one of her versions to lift the curse for her, and has transformed in some of the monsters that are around. It may be a lot to take in, but let's start by analizing the endings.
Deceived
In the "deceived" ending, it looks like one of our versions manages to escape by tricking the one we are controling as a player, but I don't think it really worked. She probably ended up the same way we end up in the "epitaph" ending. The reason is because of the "box" paradoxe itself. If she did manage to open the "box"(the curse) and get out, then all the other versions of her should dissapear, as the real one would be her who escaped the place. You can't open the box and find both a dead cat and a live cat. So that's why I think she didn't manage to escape. And the version we are controling that was left behind may die, become insane, tranform into a monster, we don't really know. But the box is still closed, and that's a fact.
Epitaph
The "epitaph" ending may look simple: we did the ritual the wrong way and ended up dead while still inside the curse. But there's an interesting detail to note.
You are surrounded by several other versions of yourself that ended up the same way.
A few more interesting things to say
The monsters are also other versions of yourself thast got overwelmed by the curse. If you just leave the last room after you defeat yourself but without completing the ritual, a monster comes from that same room, the version of yourself that transformed into a monster.
During the game, there are actually two versions of yourself that are hooded. One has gone insane and is just chasing you and trying to kill you. She ends up killed by the other hooded version of yourself. Right after you take the candles for the ritual you open a box in which your other version hid her corpse. And the other one tries to deceive you into completing the ritual for her because for some reason the ritual didn't work when she tried it herself.
Sadly I don't know why it didn't work for her. There must be a reason why it only works for the girl that gets the "divine" ending, but I don't know what does she do different that the others.
The creepy statue is said to be some kind of guardian angel in some notes you can find in the game, and it might actually be one. By blocking some doors it feels like it's trying to guide us towards the correct path. And in the third nightmare when you're being chased and have to choose between three different doors three times, the correct door is always the one that has a statue standing.
I have no idea what's the deal with the tied guy in the room that's full of cells. He doesn't look like another version of the girl, and then just suddenly disappears and is never seen again. If anyone comes up with an explanation I'd like to hear it.
Divine
I'm pretty sure this is the cannon ending. This is the version of the girl that finally opens the box and manages to escape. Since she opened the box it also means that all the other versions of herself dissapeared, as she is the true state of the cat when you finally open the box.
This is the room after you fail the ritual by sacrificing someone else's finger.
This is the room after you succeed the ritual.
The other version of the girl, as well as the corpse(which was probably another girl that ended up dying there) have dissapeared.
So this is great, we finally break the curse, right? Well...
It seems you don't actually break it. You just open the box, and unleash it's contents into the world. So... you may have actually caused the end of the world, who knows...

There's also the ending where you fail the QTEs and have an eye removed; in the scene that plays after with you huddling in the blob creature's little corpse dump, the girl mentions being very hungry and her eye itching. I think this indicates that she is beginning to succumb to the creature's influence and is hosting one of it's spawn. I think this also depicts a causality loop which leads to the deceiver's inception; both this version of the girl and the deceiver are missing their left eye, both are hosts to the entity as evidenced by the comment about her eye itching, both linger in that far eastern room, and this version of the girl would now have all the reason she needed to become a violent and vengeful person hellbent on escaping the curse by any means necessary.

There are some other events I can think of that reinforce this theory. The tentacles that emerge from the other girl's eyes when you kill her and the ending you get if you decide to leave the room without completing the ritual indicate she was also a host. The "nightmare" sequence in the elevator after you get bonked by the corpse might actually take place somewhere in the creature's origin dimension. I think the massive beholder like creature in that is the entity itself, and the smaller ones that chase after you are it's "spawn", possibly incubated in previous versions of the girl. Failing the ritual also makes you a host, though one unable to escape the bounds of the curse.

Great guide, thanks for not spoiling some of the crazier events.

I think Blattdorf's theory, mentioned further down this thread, is correct. The girl seems a bit too detached when meeting her sister in the hospital room, at first I thought she was just catatonic, but her dialogue after her sister leaves is an important clue. She seemingly doesn't recognize her, and might not even comprehend the concept of familial relations at all. I believe the eldritch tentacles flashing in the background aren't there to indicate that you let the entity out with you, but rather that you *are* now the entity, as evidenced by the tentacles disappearing right after. The achievement title itself also alludes to this, referring to the player as "divine". In this ending the cat in the box is very much dead.

Very good guide, like for real, this baisacly made me finish the game correctly and i found out i am dumb since in the last cult leader diary we need a code but i don't know why i thought the month was 5 instead of 3 and also when you say "wana have fun" ......it was very fun events........(irony) and your's jokes are kinda good i mean at the start there is the "smug face" text in blank that made me laught btw maybe the person in the cell is just an imaginary thing idk it kills you but it might be non canon (non canon the death not the person being there) i would like to give you something with the steam points but i don't have any.....

My theory on tied up girl in cell
She's another version that was decived, you know how the killer version of us cut out our eye when we didn't wanted to sacrifice our finger? My guess is that after losing first eye she still refused to complete ritual so killer version of us cut out her other eye and lock her in cell.

Theory: There's actually no reason the Deceiver from doing the ritual a second time and escaping, she just *thinks* the ritual failed when she sacrificed because she herself was deceived, and she's afraid to try the ritual and perform the sacrifice a second time. That's why she tries to trick Girl (player) into being the sacrifice so Deceiver can escape, restarting the cycle. As far as I can tell, nothing's stopping Deceiver or Girl from just doing the ritual again for themselves to escape after being tricked, besides the fact that they're scared to try sacrificing again.
